Real Wolves Bite books should be read in this order: Book #1: Wild Moon Book #2: Wild Heart Book #3: Wild Girl Book #4: Wild Love Book #5: Wild Soul Book #6: Wild Kiss
I'm a wife, mother, and author! Writing has always been a passion for me, and publishing my first series is a dream come true. I drink too much caffeine, never sleep, and my imagination is always churning out ideas. Eva and her men have been in my head for awhile, and I'm so glad to finally take you with me on this journey!
Okay i don´t know why i still continue reading this series sometimes, we are at book 6 and not done yet. I feel like we are walking in circles and it´s going very slow, like the same thing is happening. Daria, alistair or someone else is trying to hurt and kidnap either our fml Rune or one of the guys... like okay we have seen them do that before and someone loose their memories and jadi jadi. I do still wanna know how this is gonna end, to see Rune discover her heritage and where she come from and just all the questions we have. I do think that the authors could have combined two books into one since each are so short.
**I received an ARC of this book from the authors in exchange for my honest review.**
"I will always protect you. I will always take care of you. I will always...love you."
Holy Cliffhangers!! After that ending, the wait for next book is going to be torture. I was excited to jump back into this world with Rune and her guys. Wild Kiss picks up exactly where the last book ended and I loved the aftermath of Daxon's bite!
"I love you. I want this. Forever. I don't want to lose you."
There are definitely some difficult times for Rune thanks to some old enemies. Of course, she also had some wonderful moments too! Wilder struggles with his insecurities. That broke my heart because he's one of the greatest men out there and Rune loves him as he is. Daxon and all his BDE is practically a pussycat with all his obsessive love for Rune. And I mean pussycat in the hottest, sexiest way you can imagine! Then theres Ares, who was a naughty, naughty boy in this book. I loved every single second of what he did though. (Wink, Wink) Each time I think I have a favorite guy the next book changes my mind. My favorite this time is Daxon. Or Ares. Nope, I still can't choose, they're all perfect! One of my favorite parts was when the bear shifters greet Wilder! Lololol
"I'm beginning to think I just imagined you..."
C.R. Jane and Mila Young are the absolute best at writing Reverse Harem stories within a Paranormal world. I love the worlds they build and the characters and amazing! I cannot wait for the next installment of this series. If you haven't read any yet, you should...you are missing something wonderful! 💜💜
This has been a very long series. Extraordinary story. It hasn’t become dull or repetitive at all. I don’t usually read series until all the books are there. I’m a little bit obsessive. But there’s one more book due out for the series, so , just know it ends in a cliffhanger.. I thought I had checked, but because the first book is part of a spinoff series from the rest of the original series, I didn’t catch it. So now I’ve read four books and the fifth one’s not out until August. 😭🤯. I would still read the series I would’ve just waited. Such a good story. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥/5
Wild Kiss, a Rejected Mate and Romance story that’s part of the Real Wolves Bite series by the fabulous writing duo of C.R. Jane and Mila Young was everything I wanted it to be and more!
This book picks up right where we were previously left with Rune being marked by Daxon, her seeing his love for her and both of them thrust into a delicious mating frenzy for a few days. But of course it’s not as simple as that, and when they come out of the frenzy we dive straight into more drama and angst as our team tries to prepare to fight for each other, form additional binds and take on the evil Queen. And while a rescue comes, it x comes at a cost as memories are lost. Yet even though Rune has no memories of any of her guys, she can’t deny the draw that’s still there. Meanwhile, Ares, Wilder and Daxon are still ruthlessly trying to find her, with weeks passing without any luck, until a lead sends Ares finally on the right path. But sadly, Rune’s memories are still lost—but that doesn’t phase Ares as he’s on a mission to mark her fall in love with him in hopes it makes her remember. And he’s willing to do it at any costs. Even to her other mates.
With more hints tossed in regarding Runes past we feel one step closer to knowing all her secrets. However we’re still left with so many more questions concerning her mates and what’s to come for them all. Overall if you love a good why choose paranormal romance that will take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride full of tragedy, heartbreak and enough twists and turns to leave you dizzy—this is the one for you’! Just be warned that this one ends on a heartbreaking/gut wrenching cliffhanger that may or may not leave you destroyed—but I have faith Jane and Young will give us exactly what we need with the next book!
Prepare for emotional damage tissues needed and comfy food
This book was hot and sexy and everything I needed. Rune and her amazing men are everything a girl could ever want and more. This book is not for the faint of heart so spoilers start here! . . . . . .
because her rejected ex is back and all hell let's loose from there. She looses her memory and oh boy we're not ready for this ride but it gets better it's amazing seeing her fall in love with Ares but what broke me was that cliffhanger. I'm still in denial!!!!!!!!!!! I'm to in shock to even cry!!!!! Book 7 don't you dare NOPE! JUST NOPE! IM GOING TO NEED BOOK 7 BECAUSE THAT CANT BE THE ENDING JUST NOPE. I didn't read that ending it didn't happen.
So this sucks, I thought this series was complete. But the last book has been pending 2 years.. just wasted reading 6 books in 2 days to not know the ending and no clue if it will be published anytime soon.
This book did not disappoint. Book 6 took off right where book 5 ended. Daxon and Rune finally achieved their bond! This only made Wilder more broken than before. And when she tries to bond with Wilder and nothing happens - the ultimate despair sets in.
Then with a chance of unexpected craziness, Daria is back and evil as ever. Whisking Rune away with no recollection of anything - Rune is back where it all started feeling empty.
This rollercoaster ride peaked in chaos in this book and I had no idea what was going to happen. When if of her “mates” finds her and realizes she doesn’t remember anything, he selfishly uses it to his advantage!
Will Rune ever get her guys back? Can she figure out her past? Will Wilder ever be a true mate? And when will Daria meet her demise!??
I loved this book! I still feel like we have no real answers regarding what Rune really is - but the craziness is amped and this girl just keeps getting put through the ringer!! Then that ending - we can’t lose him, so I’m so excited to see where this all goes! Looking forward to the last book!!!
It does end on book 7, right? Lol
*Overall 5/5 *Heat? 3/5 (that last scene tho 😉🔥) *Fast burn *Multiple first person POV *MFMM Romance *Ends on cliffhanger
We pick up where the last book ended. Rune and Daxon have a mating frenzy for a few days. When they surface everyone is ready to return to their hometown. Before they can the evil Queen of the Fae takes Rune captive and takes her memory. Alistar is the one to “save” her and she is confused as to why he feels like her fated mate but she doesn’t feel anything toward him. Ares, Wilder and Daxon spend weeks trying to find her without any luck. Ares finally gets a lead and comes to the rescue but Rune doesn’t remember him. He concocts a plan to return to his home with her and make her fall in love with him. He just needs time with her alone and doesn’t let Wilder and Daxon know he’s found her. When they do catch up to him he knows they won’t go easy on him but it will be worth it if Rune falls in love with him.
Oh my goodness this series! The chokehold this series has on me! The drama! The steam! The suspense! And the ending?! Ahhh ! This read was a roller coaster of feels for me. I laughed , cried and raged with and for Rune. So much happened in this book . Rune, Daxon, Wilder and Ares really had some swoon worthy moments and heartbreaking moments. I loved seeing the growth in each guy as well as Rune and I was a total mess at the end. This was such a good read, I loved every page. It's a great story, with a rich, thick plot full of twists and turns, intricately developed characters and fantastic world building. I am so ready to read what happens next, that ending is a doozy!
This has been such an intense series and so full of drama, and steam, right from book one. This story continues perfectly from book 5 and gives us more relationship development but yeah, the drama continues to twist things up for our MCs. Expect to go through all the feels with this one, as so much happens and the twists were wild! The ending, though, isn't deserving of a mild word like 'cliffy', it needs something much more epic to describe how badly I need the next installment ;D Wow!
Rune's (FMC) relationship with Daxon, Wilder and Ares takes a major step backwards when events that happen in her life cause her to lose her memory. Leaving her at the mercy of past enemies. I loved how we got to know Ares' backstory more in this book as well as his character too. I think it was needed. It also gave him and Rune the chance to get to know each other i thought. Some great plot twists, plenty of steam and a cracking cliffhanger ending. Bring on book 7 now
This series just keeps getting better and better! I love how Rune is finally bonding with some of her men but I think that cliffhanger might have destroyed me! Can’t wait for the next book!
Overall I think the series had promise. For me it has too much going on and it’s not cohesive. I kept reading becauseI still have to know how is going to end and really pissed that…1. I didn’t realize it was so many books 2. I enjoy some good smut but there was an excessive amount it made really quick reads as I skipped a shit ton of pages over all these books 3. I can’t believe I started to read a book series that wasn’t finished I rarely do that.
I always check to make sure a series is complete before I read it so I thought "Cool, it's safe to start" when I saw this at the top of the final book listed: "Wild Kiss is the sixth and final book in the rejected mate romance, series, Real Wolves Bite by C.R. Jane and Mila Young."
For anyone reading this who is wondering if it's true - it's not. The book ends on a cliffhanger, was published quickly after the first five (so the one after it should have been out years ago) and I've dug deep, but all I can find is the authors saying "it's coming soon" for years while releasing a ton of other books in that time (I know writing individual books is different than when you're writing with a partner, but at some point y'all need to get together and finish the series you wrote too), and apparently putting up pre-orders then taking them down again multiple times if the complaints are to be believed. It wouldn't be so bad if they ended this one on a note where you could feasibly think it was wrapped up, but they do the opposite. It ends on a huge cliffhanger and people are rightly pissed about it.
Outside of that, Rune's story personal story away from the RH is interesting and thankfully the RH plays a very small part in the overall books, but I feel like we're just going around in circles at this point. I waited until finishing this final book to write a review for the series because I thought maybe everything would be answered, but nope.
We don't know why Alistar turned against her when her blood results come in or why he decided to trick her into trying again with him (though I have a theory), the Daria thing is never ending, they ghost who tried to kill Rune just doesn't seem to exist anymore despite nothing being done about her, we still don't know who set up Ray, and Wilder's pity party makes me lowkey hate him.
There are also a lot of inconsistencies that I've caught throughout the series, like the authors forgot stuff they put in their own book. First of all - if you're close enough to drive to Chicago in a few hours, you're not driving to Vegas in four hours even if you're driving NASCAR speeds. I don't know WHY this bugs me so much, but it made my eye twitch when I read the Vegas part after the previous bit about Chicago - and how did she just get a few hours away from Chicago when according to the first book, she was traveling for months? Second, one of the ways Daxon and Wilder thought they killed Ares was because they didn't feel/hear his heartbeat, which made sense because he's a vampire. But then after she saved him, she said that hearing his heartbeat brought her comfort. Which one is it? Does he have a heartbeat or not?
At this point, even if the actual final book comes out (which at this point I doubt), I'm not sure I'll be reading it. There's not much farther you can go with Rune's personal storyline and that's really all I care about in this story, because the RH storyline is just eh and I don't like Wilder, who will star in that one.
Although I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. The wait in between books is crazy stupid. Rune and her mates, it's a love hate relationship. But each mate is better than the last. Keeping up with her crazy life of trying to be dominated and killed is hard on a girl. I have already resigned to the fact I will not read any more series of books unless they have all been released. I had to go back and read most of the last book to figure out what happened and then lost some of the first details because I don't remember. 250 pages could be easily 400-500 hundred and only 3 books instead of 7.
This book had highs and lows and even I was confused on what was real and what wasn’t. Rune is once again, kidnapped. This time, they were in Romania to see if they could find the other half of the blue necklace that Ares gave her. They found it in the last book. Rune and Daxon had just rejoined Wilder and Ares after a 3 day mating frenzy at the castle. Rune had to pee when she woke that morning and tip toed out of the tent to find a private spot when Daria, the ex of Wilder and the Light Fae Queen showed up. It was lights out. The next thing she knew, she was waking up with no clue to who she was, she didn’t know who the strange fae queen was, nor did she recognize her surroundings. Daria told her she wanted to torture her and that she stolen her memories and she would never remember “them”. The next thing she was waking up to a strange handsome man who explained that he “saved” her from the fae queen and that he was her true mate and had been searching for her for a year. His name is Alistar. Yeah that Alistar. He finally succeeded in finding Rune and by keeping her at his side. She was with him a good 40% of the book and nothing really happened. She felt guilty for not wanting to jump his bones as that’s what she was told how a true mate bond feels. She didn’t remember that Alistar had rejected her and abused her in ways that were heavily hinted at. She’s told her mother died of a sickness. Rune has no clue what lays ahead of her but her “gut instinct” is to shy away from him. She gets glimpses or visions of him with an eye patch, of murdering someone with a baseball bat, she sees hints of cruelty in his eyes even if his posture and demeanour show warmth. It was kinda boring not that I was hoping for physical abuse or anything. We got to read the point of views for Wilder, Daxon and Ares. Since Daxon is the only “bonded” mate to her, he’s slowly dying. His madness, his crazy, had calmed after he mated with Rune which I didn’t even notice until Wilders thoughts brought it up. Wilder on the other hand, feels like he’s broken inside since every time he’s tried to mate Rune by biting her, it doesn’t take. He starts to kill ppl like Daxon used too. Some randos were lying on their living room floor on a tarp, something straight out of Dexter. Thankfully Daxon helped clean it up and their eye balls came in handy to trade with a witch to find Runes whereabouts. Rune kept dreaming of Ares, as that’s one of his gifts. He was able to find her using a different gift, since she’s his blood mate and she just so happened to cut her palm on a rose bush. So Ares saves her from Alistars place. It was perfect timing because Alistar was drunk and started becoming cruel to her, calling her a frigid bitch, who wouldn’t put out for her fated mate. Rune thought he was about to rape her, which is when Ares showed up. He threw Alistar in his trunk, put Rune in his thrall to sleep as she started to fight against him, wanting to make sure Ares didn’t hurt Alistar as he was her true mate after all. When she woke in the car, he explained what happened and he then realized she lost her memories. He decided instead of bringing her back to Wilder and Daxon, he would bring her back to the town he created to save ppl from the “Mad King” of Faerie. Rune and Areas had time to bond without interference from Wilder and Daxon. Despite their hatred for him, despite how they tried to murder him in the 2nd book, he refused to hurt them as it would hurt Rune but they didn’t allow Ares to spend time with Rune on his own. Things I disliked about the book and why I rated it 4stars. I freaken Hate reading about kidnappings. It’s overly done in this book. There’s so many ways to keep a reader interested, and Mila Young/C.R Jane barely need to lift a pinkie to gain the avid interest from their readers. Their books are just that good. Sometimes, it’s hard for me to even differentiate my own feelings versus the characters point of views feelings that I’m reading. I found Rune to be a complete push over. She didn’t ask questions, she didn’t stick up for herself, she did the stupiest things. She knows she’s being hunted yet leaves the tent early morning to pee for privacy. She’s in a new environment she doesn’t know, she knows she has enemies looking for her (example… Daria-Light Fae Queen-ex of Wilders, Alistar-true fated mate that rejected her after her blood test and physically and emotionally abusive towards her, Hunters-they hunt wolves indiscriminately;killing every single one they come across, and lastly the one that made Rae kill all those ppl from the first few books). I just don’t understand her thought process. She knows she’s in danger but runs straight towards it with her arms open like she’s running to hug someone. Thankfully, it all ends well. Wilder and Daxon make it to Rune, and even though Wilders mating bite didn’t take, again, them all having sex with Rune does allow her memories to return. It was refreshing to see a positive moment.
Love C. R Jane and have read several of her book series'. Spoilers later in the review, you have been warned. I binge read these books over the last 5 days. I went into this series blind and while most of the story line is good, it could have been summed up without this many books and there js another coming.
Every time you turn around another tragic thing happens. It is like what else can we throw at Rune? Abusive fated mate ✅ Lust drunk over first alpha seen after escape ✅ Menage romance with two alpha's that were torn apart by another girl✅ Ex finds her and tries to bring her back✅ One of her new alpha's is a psychopath ✅ Sold out by crazy ex girlfriend ✅ Ex takes her back and starts abuse again✅ Fae queen double crosses them and steals alpha back✅ Fae queen curses Rune ✅ New vampire rolls into town and steals her away✅ Vampire is a hunter out to kill Rune ✅ Vampire is her true blood match mate✅ She get wolf and has magical powers ✅ And many more, you get the idea.
The spice is there, but after the first couple books, I found myself skimming over these scenes which I don't usually do, but some of them seemed out of place and used to fill space. That said, when it was placed just right, it was 🔥🥵 And who doesn't want three gorgeous men sexing them up? That first and only four-way scene with them was fantastic. Love Ares so much for always putting her needs first. Letting her have all the control.
I was glad when she woke up to remember it all, but I felt they just rushed right into Wilder marking her. It was not romantic, it felt clinical. With all the failed mate marks between them, I was kind of shocked he wasn't given a better moment with her, knowing that is what he needs.
My heart was crushed when Wilder said he knew why he could mark her and had to die to be a better Nate for her. 😭 I can only hope this is temporary. She is going to be devastated.
I hope the next book is the last because what else can go wrong? The Fae queen has got to go. Alistair needs to die too. We need Wilder back so they can all be bonded and live HEA. Oh, we never hear anything about Amarok or about the best friend after the attack at the library. Will we find out in the next book?
Obviously, I keep reading the books even with all the tragic whiplash. If you love an emotional rollercoaster with tragic twists and turns happening often, this is your book series.

This book was the worst! I’m so over this crap. Every time Rune gets her wolf back it’s taken away. It’s so annoying. Also there were a few things that just didn’t make sense to me. To start Rune and Wilder were both cursed so Wilder went to the magic river to get rid of the curse. Why didn’t they try the magic river to fix Rune? Then they get the magic necklace and it breaks the curse. But days later Daria was able to curse Rune…again?! How does that work?! Theeennnn she goes missing and the guys are freaking out. But in the last book Ares put a tracker inside Rune’s body. He said the tracker would stay in her forever. But now that she’s missing that tracker no longer exists? They don’t even mention it. Then Ares finds Rune and realizes she’s missing her memories so he steals her away all for himself. That’s so fucked. Daxon literally just bonded her. So he’s getting physically sick from being away from her. But she’s not….? Why wasn’t she physically affected by the missing bond mate? When the guys finally show up there are zero consequences for what Ares did!??? Rune actually thanks him for giving her time to fall in love. Oh and let’s not forget that Daxon and Wilder have just left their packs to fend for themselves for months. That doesn’t seem like something an Alpha would do. I wouldn’t be surprised if their packs have been taken over by another Alpha when they get back. I hated this whole book. It just made me angry.
P.s. I’m guessing the final book of the series isn’t actually coming out?! I’m annoyed that I picked up this series and more annoyed that I kept reading just to find out there is no ending.

Old enemies return and Rune is in trouble. Except she doesn't realize it. In fact, she doesn't realize (or remember) anything. But she does feel something is wrong. When her dark knight comes to her rescue, he decides it's time to let her in on his biggest secrets in the hope he can secure her heart before he has to share her again. Rune loves her time in the enchanted village but she's still missing vital parts of herself. She needs all the pieces of her heart.
What a roller coaster ride. Moments of exaltation, followed by moments of despair, only to be furious on the next page. It's impossible to be entirely happy for Daxon and Ares with the pain Wilder is suffering. It's impossible to not hate Daria. It's impossible not to swoon over Rune's guys and impossible not to feel the joy of Rune's wolf when she's free and playing. It's absolutely impossible not to get carried away by this story or to gasp at the cliffhanger. This is a "wildly" entertaining read. The world-building continues to be excellent. I loved this book and can't wait for the final book of Rune's twisted tales. So why did I rate it a 4-star instead of a 5-star if I loved it? I have 2 tropes I am not a fan of, forced separations and memory loss. I find both frustrating and unnecessary at best, cheap, lazy gimmicks at worst. I see the value of the plot device in this book, so this falls into the first category but I still am not a fan.
At book six, I genuinely thought we’d made it to the end of the chaos, but apparently Amarok isn’t done with us yet. Wild Kiss softens the edges a little, focusing more on emotional healing and the bond Rune has finally built with her pack. After all the heartbreak, betrayal, and claw-to-the-throat tension of earlier books, this one leans quieter, still spicy, still tender, but with a calmer, more domestic vibe.
The story has moments I loved: Rune’s growth feels real, Wilder and Daxon are as intense as ever, and there’s a warmth to their connection that feels earned. But the tension? Fizzles fast. The stakes are low, the pacing drags, and the feral energy that made the first few books so addictive barely flickers here. It’s more of a recovery arc than a true next chapter, until the very last pages remind you that maybe peace was never the plan.
And here’s the kicker: it ends on a massive cliffhanger… and there hasn’t been a new book in years. No updates, no teasers, nothing. Just me and my unresolved emotional damage waiting in the dark like a fool.
✨ trope checklist: – found family + established pack – post-chaos recovery arc – soft spice + domestic bliss – emotional rebuilding + lingering danger – ends on a brutal cliffhanger (with no sequel in sight 👀)
Okay so first off, I'm obsessed with this series. However, this specific book in the series got 2 stars because I really, really don't enjoy the whole memory loss trope. It always pulls me out of the story and I find myself just skipping over whole paragraphs and pages to get them back to where they were as far as character development.
Rune spends the majority of this book with no memories of the last year and honestly, it's painful to read her as her old self after 6 books. Its horrendous reading her spending time with Alistair and knowing shes spending weeks away from Dax and Wilder. I liked that her and Ares got time to fall in love but I couldn't stomach her inner dialogue. It was heartbreaking to really see how broken she was as a person before she met her men.
I'm also super friggin confused how she could feel the blood match bond within an hour of seeing Ares again but didn't feel the mating bond? At all? Like she could feel Dax's whole emotions. That doesn't go away cuz you don't have memories. That frustrated me a lot.
And now I'm sitting here staring at my kindle in utter disbelief that the next book isn't released until August 2023. 😭😭😭😭

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "WILD KISS" This story hooks you from start to finish its a wild crazy rollercoaster ride of intense emotional turmoil, lies, betrayal, secrets, deceit, kidnapping, scorching hot scenes, humor, angst, intrigue, suspense, heartache, twists that'll have you turning the pages. Rune & Ares have their own adventure where you see the feelings he has for her develop even more than ever he takes her to his town with his people Galeru so he has her to himself so she can fall in love with him. Rune gets kidnapped Dina the Fae Queen, then save by an enemy Alistair, that's where Ares finds saves her while leaving Daxon & Wilder still hunting for her everywhere. I definitely recommend to get this amazing well written adventure, what will happen when Daxon & Wilder show up in Galeru & find Rune with Ares him knowing where she was all this time. Im so looking forward to "WILD FOREVER" after that mind-blowing shocking cliffhanger it can't come soon enough to know what's going to happen next. AWESOME AWESOME READ!!!
Wild Kiss picks up where the last book left off and moves forward but be prepared for a ton of whiplash with this book. the entire series has been a rollercoaster of a ride, but these authors have no intentions of letting Rune have her happy ending just yet. She still has a ways to go before she can get there and dealing with a jealous and vengeful Fae Queen is going to be top of the list for this book. Having something stolen from you is never easy, but Rune is going to be the one dealing with the consequences. I enjoyed this book for the most part, but I'm ready for the series to wind up. Rune has been through a lot, I'm tired of the constant back and forth between the guys always jockeying for that number one spot and trying/wanting Rune all to themselves. It obviously doesn't work that way and I wish that they'd get with the program fully already. The steamy scenes are delicious, but sometimes it just doesn't come together the way the authors want. I'm honestly hoping that the next book will be the last. 4 out of 5 stars.
I devoured the 6 books in what I mistakenly thought was a complete series only to be left on a cliffhanger and have to wait until July 2024 for the final book 😭😭😭.
The series follows Rune who gets rejected by her fated mate Alistair. This girl isn't squeamish when it comes to escaping from him after years of abuse (read Wild Moon).
She ends up in a place called Amarok that she doesn't realise is full of wolf shifters as she was trying to avoid areas where they were.
This is where she meets Daxon & Wilder. Both are Alphas of the two packs in Amarok and eventually the mysterious Ares (vampire).
Secrets about Rune start coming to light about her true heritage as it turns out she is the last remaining member of a royal family.
If you love paranormal romance with wolf shifters, vampires, Fae, fated mates, rejected mates, enemies to lovers, blood match (vampire mate), spirits, a monstrous beast with a spine of spikes that acts like a puppy and loves tummy rubs, then you need to read this series.
It has a bit of everything, and of course it's why choose.
C.R.J and M.Y. written such Amazing books i loved their book Wild kiss I love following Rune in her journey and i loved to read her growth as a character…. I just really love the Way These authors writes… all the books she writes is always soo good and always keeps me on my toes… the Way she writes is soo intresting.. i have loved all the books i have read by her… i love Rune’s story and i love watching her realstionship with the guys grow stronger and stronger…. i really loved the twist and turn…This really Kept my interest the whole Way and i really loves this book…this book was freaking good.. I’m exicted to see What These authors comes up with next for Rune in her journey
I highly recommed that people read their book Wild kiss and if you haven’t read this Series yet Then What are you waiting for you are really missing out on something…you wil def not regret giving this Series a chance
Wild Kiss is a beautiful continuation of the series. There is so much anticipation as she completes the mate bond with Daxon. Wilder is left out as his mate bite doesn't hold. However, it's all short-lived when Rune disappears. Ares joins the men in the search, but when he finds her with Alistair and missing her memories, he uses it to steal her away. Will Rune get her memories back?
I loved seeing the softer sides of the men as they bonded together for Rune. Poor Rune keeps getting put through one thing to the next. She is definitely due her HEA soon. This whole story had me on edge in anticipation of what was to come. What are the bad guys really up to, and will they overcome all these obstacles, or are they playing into their hands? I feel like I have whiplash. This is a 5-star book. If you enjoy paranormal reverse harem romance with tons of action and spice this is what you've been looking for!
Rune's needs were of the utmost importance to Daxon, Wilder, and Ares, and each expected to be a part of what she needed. Decisions were made but enemies were looming ready to attack and when things seemed to go wrong, frustration and despair bared their teeth. The stakes were high for Wilder and Ares. I was very sorry for what was happening to Wilder and almost, almost understood Ares. Rune suddenly finds himself in a vulnerable situation, and Ares seizes the opportunity in front of him. With Ares goes that saying, 'Appearances are deceptive'. I liked that Daxon's mating bond seemed to favor him beyond his relationship with Rune, and Wilder kept me intrigued with the twists in his rather precarious situation. A lot happened in this book and the cliffhanger gave it a twist that I wasn't expecting. I'm dying of curiosity about what's going to happen next. Way to keep me interested!
I love this series, the tortured lovers who just want to be together! But, the baddies are just so evil, it's a total love to hate them type situation. Although I wouldn't consider this book or series, slow burn, the relationships are. There is so much for each individual to overcome that they then need to tie themselves together. Yeah, it's alot. Then there's Rune herself. She started off as the poor rejected mate girl but now, wow, now she is so much more. She's sweet, inquisitive, curious about the world and her place in it and she is way more than she ever thought she was. Now that this is a reverse harem and not a menage, I feel like she is more complete. Now to avoid being kidnapped, having any memories stolen and just be together - why is there always so much more to it? Danger, action and steam, this story will have you drooling for the last book!
Every time I feel like this time the end may come and all answers will be provided, there is always more coming in. And it was a rollercoaster, just like all the five books before. The drama soars, whether it's due to the mating effects, Rune being kidnapped and the actions of the men that are desperately trying to find her and get her back, Alistair's involvement, the memory loss issue, or the competition between the men when it comes to Rune - as there still haven't been a full acceptance from all sides, emotions are strongly at play and jealousy isn't out of the picture. The drama and lots of action and suspense are spiced with steamy scenes, we are still getting to know all the characters better, the challenges the characters face and the obstacles they have to overcome are getting tougher and drive the plot development forward, and that cliffhanger... I have nothing left to say
