What a beautiful, but heartbreaking story! I am so teary right now, that I wanna fight you! Ughhh....... Alaina was really going through it with her trash ass ex, West! Just why West? The mother of your child, you try to tear down at every turn for what? Your ego? Just trash! Isaiah was an angel of a man! With all that he was going through with his health struggles, and he still wanted to help others. Isaiah and Alaina meeting was the gift that they both needed. Alaina needed someone to care for her, and love her correctly. Isaiah had all the material things in the world, but no one to share his life with. Together they were complete! Each one giving the other the push needed to carry on, when life was dragging them down! Ma'am! You did not have to break my heart like that! Twice! 😠 I just knew that the outcome would be different, and I am devastated! 💔 What now? I need more! I hope there is another book coming! How does Alaina cope? What happens to Matthew? In my feelings big time! Great read! 👍👍👍

This was an emotional and crazy ride. I don’t read a lot of insta-love romances that are paranormal but I think the falling in love under intense circumstances was done well for the most part. I just wasn’t prepared for all the gut punches. Isaiah is a real one though that’s for sure.

I enjoyed it just liked the first time I read it. I was reading this at work and trying to hide my face full of tears at the same time.

Nah,nah,nah!
This book should've come with a warning! To make a reader fall in love with a character, albeit a sick character, give the reader hope that the character will live, only to kill them off at the pinnacle of the story is devious.
Isiah and Alaina should've had more time. He was good to her from the start and while she got on my nerves at times, I understood the PTSD she had from her ex.
I'm truly glad that Isiah left a legacy behind but come on. I read romance books for happy ends not reality. Give me the fairytale ending everytime. I'm in my feelings about this book and not in a good way.

Wow!!!!
I usually don’t write reviews but for this one I didn’t have a choice. I read the original also and baby when I tell you I was in my feelings. I love them both and this version is my favorite but it did earn AJ a spot on the IKYMFL list. Got my eyes over here burning like I cut some onions. Now let me go plot how to stir up some mess so we can get a spin off or something.

Was even better than the first one
This story still has me in my feelings but I loved this extended version and it was way more detailed which was a plus!!! Isaiah was LIFE and him and Alaina love was beautiful ❤️ it was sad that he still had to leave but he was at peace! West and Celeste was trash and got what they deserved because of bitterness and jealousy smh . Great job again Ms. A.J Davidson

West and Celeste just had too much time on their hands and I would’ve gotten them dealt with a long time ago. I’m glad that Isaiah and Alaina found true love and Isaiah loved it being loved. Love definitely gas no time frame!!!!
I’ve experienced different emotions reading this book, that I felt like I was on a roller coaster. West and Celeste was just dumb and dumber how were you ok with seeing your child’s mother suffer all because of your ego. Isiah he was definitely cut from a different cloth and I’m glad that Alaina got to experience real love from him...Whew!!!

Loved it
This was my first read from this author but will not be my last. It was a very emotional, good read. Alaina is such a pure hearted character and didn't deserve the mess West and Celeste were dishing to her. Isaiah came in to "literally" save her life. In just a short amount of time, he was able to give her so much. This is a beautiful story that left me in tears.

Loved it!
This well written, emotionally charged book had me all in my feelings and I enjoyed this one just as much as I did the first one. I absolutely loved the relationship between Isaiah and Alaina and they were really good for each other. He showed her just how a woman should be treated. Celeste and West got just what they deserved.

WOW!
I absolutely loved this book! It was just enough cries as it was laughs! Isaiah stole my heart. He was soo passionate and selfless. Everything Alaina needed and deserved. I’m so happy he was able to give her one last gift before they parted ways! Absolutely amazing! I couldn’t put the book down!

This book was some of everything! It had all the feels that only a great author can give! I haven't read a book to put me on that type of rollercoaster in a while! I'm not going to give the book away but dive into this read and let this awesome author take you on a journey that you would never expect!
