Can a person settle for less than they deserve because there’s a glimmer of hope for what they want?
Natasha Morozova has never known easy. Her life has been nothing but obstacles. She came to America for the freedom to change her life–except it’s not that simple. Not when she’s fallen in love with a man who cannot return that feeling.
Kazimir Laskin has worked his way up the ranks. He’s a Pakhan, and he should have everything he desires, or at least be able to take it. He owns a successful club. Money is no object. Men do what he says when he says it–except he can’t have the only woman he craves.
Her station is beneath him. He must marry for the interest of the Bratva, not the good of his heart. When Natasha gives up, Kaizimir watches her leave but cannot let her go. Truth be told, she cannot let go of him either.
When betrayal is at his feet, Kazimir must make some decisions. He must take matters into his own hands. If he catches her, can he keep her? When you’re the Pakhan, are there any rules, or do you get to rewrite them?
Hayley Faiman was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. She and her husband met when they were still in High School. They were married a few years later. They lived in Oregon while her husband was in the US Coast Guard. After living in Hill Country, Texas, for eight years and three years in East Texas, they now call North Carolina home and spend their time with their two teenage sons at all their events, screaming from the stands as they swim their hearts out!
It drives me crazy when people review and state there is cheating in a book. Yes they loved each other, but they were NOT together when he slept with the other women.
Natasha to me was move of a pushover than anything. She states she needs to move on but then sleeps with him.
Natasha spends chapters with the inner monologue that she is not good enough, Kazi spends Chapter's constantly saying I need a Bravta women for a wife but I am not letting her go. Come on now.
Then you get past that then it's full steam a lot of sex after that which to me becomes repetitive. We see very little regarding anything to do with "Mafia" business even though that is what the book is suppose to be.
I've bought all three books in this series so far, not going to bother anymore as they are not getting better.
Loved it! Kazimir, who had issues finally opened his heart and loved Natasha the way she deserved and it was so sweet to see. The author threw in a awesome plot twist that I didn’t see coming which is always something that makes me happy to read. Natash was so strong and she deserved to have a happy ending. It was fast paced, had steam and I couldn’t put it down. The plot wove a tale for these characters and the romance between them, while fast, was perfect. This series keeps getting better and better! 5 stars #2OCCJD
And let's get busy. Lol Let's grab another Mafia book, because, it's my favorite genre. Hayley Faiman knows what she's doing and this series is getting better by the book. Her writing is raw and wild, intense, dark and so freaking hot. Just give her a chance. Caught by the Sinner, is her latest release and it's the third book from the Russian Torpedo series. Have you read any books from this series? If you have, you know why I'm so happy to read this one, but if you haven't, just do it. This book explores the lives of Natasha and Kazimir. Natasha's life hadn't been easy. It's one thing after the other and she sees herself moving to America to start a new life. But when you fall in love and it's one-sided... Kazimir is used to hard work. He's into the Bratva world and needs to be tough. Being a Pakhan, he's used to having all he desires but it means nothing when it comes to love. There's a reason why I freaking love Mafia books, and this one cemented that. Amazing plot, well written, super engaging, and intense. Once I started to read this book, I couldn't put it down. The cloud of mystery was so thick that made me want to keep reading to seek the answers. The characters worked perfectly with each other and despite all drama, everything worked as it should. There were parts of the book that I wanted to slap someone silly, jeez, why can't you see what's right in front of you? In love, sometimes it's not easy to achieve full happiness but you need to keep trying. This book gives us love, loyalty, friendship, as well as betrayal, crime, and punishment. And... Hot stuff... Get ready. It was amazing to have news from the other characters from this series and I can't wait for what's coming. Great book Hayley. You nailed it once again. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
What a bullshit mess this story was! Natasha the FL was apparently beautiful, but a broken down schemer from Russia who had absolutely no skills except to give her body away. She winds up with the so-called "pakhan" Kazimir the ML. Still trying to figure out who I dislike more as they were both just weak and stupid. Kazimir allowed his underlings to speak to him however they wanted… It's eye rolling when an enforcer threatens a pakhan. Natasha, on the other hand, expected to be the queen of a pakhan, didn't seem to matter which one, as long as she would end up a queen. She ends up falling in love with "Kazi" as she calls him in a whisper… All she does is whisper! It's so annoying & really I had to skip pages cause I didn't give a care about either one of these two characters. I really don't even know what went on in the story, it was just so poorly written that it barely made sense. I've read this author before and some of her books I like, others not so much, but this one seems like it was written by someone else… someone who doesn't know how to tell a story.
I'm loving the torpedo series and book number 3 was great. If you haven't read the first two books make sure and do that. Tasha has always been so sweet and Danill & Trisha treat her just like a sister and take such good care of her. They had a perfect plan for her in this book and just wanted her to be happy. I will say at the end of book 2 I was so mad at Kazimir and how he treated Tasha. Kashmir being a Pakhan held himself at such high standards even though no matter who he chose as a bride his men would have respected him. I was so proud of Tasha and how she stayed strong in what she believed. This book took some twists I didn't see coming. It was nice reading about a different side of Kazimir and hoe his relationship progresses with Tasha. It really shows you can't help who your heart wants. This ended in a great way. Its also nice to still read about previous characters and how they are. I'm so looking forward to book 4
This is the third book in the series and they just keep getting better. 😜 We have Kazimir who is Pakhan of the Bratva and we have Natasha who is basically not at his level. Natasha had a rough life. She came from parents who were not liked in the organization. Kazimir worked his way up and was now the boss. Natasha fell in love with a man that is unattainable as he has to marry for the good of the Bratva and not for love. Can these two find a way to make it work? Some say this book has cheating but I think that’s can be put up for discussion as they were not technically together. But I know there is a thin line for some so I wanted to mention that. The story had lots of twists and really hit the mark. I can’t wait for the next book in this Bratva world.
What to say about Kazi and Tasha? I wanted this book as soon as Kazimir showed up to Grisha and Ksenia’s wedding without her. I wanted to know what would happen, would Tasha walk away from Kazimir even though it was so obvious that she loved him? Would Kazimir let her leave him? Oh this book, what a roller coaster of emotions!! There were times I wasn’t sure I liked Kazimir anymore and moments I was sure that I needed him to love Tasha back so hard.
This series gets better each story, each couple. I get drawn deeper and deeper into this Bratva world that Ms. Faiman writes so incredibly well. I wonder who will be next?? 😊
The Pakhan gets whatever he wants, no matter what or who stands in his way. Kazimir is demanding, gruff and no-nonsense. He also does not have time for a relationship. He seems to prefer his women compliant and without strings. This is starting to take its toll on Natasha, one of his subordinates. She finds herself in love with Kazimir, despite his treatment of her. While Kazimir seemingly cares about her, his affections seem more of an obligation through most of the book. Natasha is content with having Him any way she can. I liked the book overall, as I’ve come to expect Mafia romances to be very male dominate. It was a great addition to Faiman’s catalog.
I've been thinking on this one for days and it just fell flat for me. I felt like it was rushed and the story not fully played out. The resolution was extremely quick and sorta off page. I didn't connect with the main characters. Even though I enjoyed the h from this book when she was in the other 2 books. I think this may have been a fluke for me I normally enjoy everything Hayley Faiman writes. I will definitely continue this series and all her future works .
Kazimir is a Kenyan and he can have anyone he wants. Natasha has had a difficult life. She came to America for a better life and feel in love with Kazimir and wants a life with him but since she is beneath him he just wanted her as his mistress not his wife and queen. She decides she'll get what she wants by leaving him. This story is so interesting and I enjoyed how Kazimir and Natasha finally got together. Hayley has done it again with another great story that keeps you interested.
After finishing Bound to the Sinner (Book 2), I was ready to move on in this series. There's a little bit of a preview for what might be ahead. The Pahkan with the Traitor's daughter? Unheard of. It instantly screamed forbidden romance with a capital F.
I think when you've read more than on series of an author, things start to feel familiar. In this case, one of Hayley's signatures is that the men make huge mistakes, but they're rarely apologetic for it. The heroines just shake their head, make peace with whatever the situation was, and move on. However, I feel like this book is going to hit your emotions a little differently. When I finished the last page, something felt off. I couldn't figure it out, but then it all of a sudden dawned on me.
Natasha was born into the Bratva, but to a traitorous man and a women of ill repute. There's no hope for her, and the sad part is that she knows it. She just was born to the wrong people. The thing about her though is that she has gumption. She's not willing to just accept life the way it is. When an opportunity to rise above her station is presented, she quickly grabs it in both hands. Natasha is determined not to let anyone hold her down, and this is a deal of a lifetime. She's so excited to be given a chance that she misses all of the red flags.
Kazimir is Pahkan. That's pretty much all you need to know about his character. He's the top dog, and he knows it. He knows it so well, that he misses what a diamond in the rough he has. For someone at the top of the food chain, he's pretty dense. It seriously made me question his leadership abilities. I was mad that he didn't or couldn't see beyond Natasha's station. In my opinion, I would have loved to see her with someone else who knew her worth.
Kazimir is still living in the old ways. He believes has to marry for station. His future wife must bring alliances. It doesn’t matter that Natasha is the one his heart wants. His position as Pakhan requires this. At least in his mind.
Others tell him that times are changing. The old ways are dying and the new is winning. Unfortunately he doesn’t make the right choice and loses his Natasha.
Natasha is determined to move on and find a place for herself in the life she has found herself in. She wants to matter. Her searches leads her to another Pakhan she thought she could trust. Turns out she is just a pawn.
Kazimir finally comes to his senses but it’s almost too late and he almost loses the love of his life.
One day these men that Hayley creates will smarten up and realize the women in their lives see things clearer than they ever can and will start listening to them. Who am I kidding?! Hayley lives to torture us and making these men stubborn is a sure way to keep us coming back for more.
This was a great 5 star read, once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. Kazimir is in love but with the wrong woman, as a Pakhan there is a certain woman that he needs to marry to help the family. Natasha wants love but realizes that she will not get it from the one she truly wants. When she decides to move on things get very interesting from here. We get some unexpected twists and turns that added a great element to the story.
Will Kazimir realize too late that Natasha is the one for him? Or will Natasha find a new love?
Overall this was a thrilling read with some great characters.I really loved this couple, my heart went out to Natasha and what she truly wanted. Kazimir was on my list for awhile, he gradually got back in my good graces The author does a great job with her writing. You feel like you are right there with the characters. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

I was so excited about the release of this book, Hayley’s Russian bratva series is absolutely fantastic & one of my favorite!
However I felt this book fell short for me. I really wanted to give it 5⭐️’s so badly. I absolutely loved Kazimir & Natasha. It frustrated me how he couldn’t put her & his love for her first, even with everyone- including men in his Bratva, telling him she’s perfect.
I gave it 4⭐️’s because I felt it lacked story depth as far as drama and suspense. There just wasn’t alot of mafia action. It was a fairly short read, and I miss her longer books with mafia action, twist and turns & hot bedroom romance!! This book definitely has the romance & relationship stuff, just lacks the mafia stuff.
All in all though, I really enjoyed reading it and look forward to future mafia books by Hayley!🖤🖤🖤
This is the third book in this phenomenal series and is Kazimir and Natasha’s journey. Natasha has had a tough life and travels to America to change her life around get the freedom she needs so badly. Kazimir has worked his way up in the Bratva to become a Pakhan, who owns a successful club, is wealthy, and seems to have it all, except the woman he wants so badly. Can Kazimir watch Natasha walk away and out of his life forever? This is a well written story which has combustible and undeniable chemistry, betrayal, emotions, drama, suspense, action, intrigue, romance, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend. I received a free copy of this book via LitUncorked and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have been waiting for this story since the start of this series and Kazmir and Natasha are absolutely everything. The level of complexity that we are given within this Bratva is intense and twisty. But that connection that these two have is completely off the charts. Kaz is fighting an internal battle of following his heart to what is beneficial for the Bratva. These two have such chemistry that it sizzles right off the pages too. With every twist and turn, the connection these two have deep even though Natasha has reservations, Kaz proves he is the one for her. It is everything and more and I am looking forward to what is to come with these men!
This is Book 3 in the Russian Torpedo Series by this author. It is a steamy mafia romance between Natasha and Pakhan Kazimir. These flawed characters and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. It is an emotional roller coaster with drama, steam, suspense, family dynamic, unexpected twists, and passion, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. The main characters share an undeniable chemistry and connection. An engaging page turner with a happy ending. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.

Loved it! Natasha and Kazimir were so good, they had this chemistry between them there push and pull through the story was fantastic. This was definitely another good addition to this series. I can't wait for the next one.
Merged review:
Fast paced romance!
I loved this one! Tasha and Kazi are so good together!. This was definitely a more fast paced romance and I'm ok with that. These characters had great chemistry and it was nice to see more of the previous characters from the other books in the series. I can't wait for the next one!
What a great story featuring Kazimir and Natasha. It’s a story of an older man and younger woman, almost forbidden love. Kazi, who is a Pakhan won’t marry Natasha as she’s not, what he considers to be the right material, however, when she decides she needs and wants more, he lets her go only to regret his decision. I liked the way the story developed. How Natasha’s character developed. Great story with lots of action and steamy, hot scenes.

Hayley Faiman does it again!!! This is another phenomenal read filled with suspense, action, but also betrayal and romance. If you’ve read any of Hayley ‘s previous works this falls in line. This books tells the love story of Natasha and Kazimir and how they found the way to accept and love one another. This book is highly recommended and you won’t be disappointed.

Another Sizzling and Intense Story...Don't Miss It! This is one of those books that had me speed reading to see what was going to happen. Kazimir is Pakhan of the Bratva and Natasha is the woman that he sleeps with but won't marry because she is not Bratva wife material basically. She loves him passionately but will never be his Queen. The story is fast paced with some twists that had me on the edge. This is another riveting story by Hayley Faiman that will ensnare you from the first page.
The relationship between Natasha and Kazimir had a lot of push and pulls because Natasha didn’t want to settle for less by being Kazimir’s mistress, while Kaimir couldn’t let her go because of his attraction towards her, yet he still wanted to marry up to help the Bratva. It was a good read and had enough drama to keep me interested.

When your Pakhan you can have everything you want at your feet but for Kazimir the woman he wants is beneath his station. Natasha had thought she could find her own American dream but soon found it more a nightmare, giving up on love isnt easy but when its wanted on both sides but denied its even harder. can these two go against the odds for a HEA? well written engaging steamy action, desires and more!.

I’ve say this every time I read a new Hayley Faiman book …. This right here is the best book she’s written … Caught by the Sinner us Kasimir and Natasha’s story. It’s about the Bratva but ultimately it is the love story between the two of them. He’s set in his ways, which we don’t know why. She’s always wanted to be a queen in the Bratva but wasn’t able to be due to her parents lineage. Well then she becomes Kashmir’s …. But watch out for Fyodor.
Good pacey Russian Bratva story, well developed and connecting nicely to the other book in the series.
Great plot, different to what I have read anywhere else. a few TW's (kidnap, violence etc)
Great female lead, liked the way she would rather brings thing to an end than stay in a relationship where she wasn't getting what she needed. She stood her ground which I loved.
