3.5 this wasn’t bad the writing was still a little eh but I had fun reading it although it’s not a four like the first one cause I feel like it was getting repetitive with the miscommunication 😭😭😭
Pretty good book! I only say pretty good because I feel like compared to the first one it just wasn't as intriguing to me overall as a whole, but it still had some good bits to it!
I’ll admit, my expectations for this book weren’t that high, and yet… ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ
It’s very Wattpad-core and has great potential. However, the author can crack down on some of the filler language and plot content (plotent lol). The pacing was moderate and relatively predictable—in other words, I could forsee what trope events would happen, but not HOW they would happen (i.e. Eric making up with Adam in the school’s hair salon?? That felt random and easy….).
But again, lots of potential for the characters and plot! I am very impressed with the publishing process since I’ve had my eye on this author since before they even published book 1. However, as a reader, many of the basic problems that were annoying start with the editor.

"Adam?" I murmured. "Mhm?" "What are you going to do when you graduate from Serpenti High?" He finally opened his eyes, his blue gaze locking on mine. "I'm going to marry you."
OH MY BABYY, MY SHAYLA, IF ONLY YOU KNEW
