Alice este o fetiță bună și veselă, însă trece printr-o experiență îngrozitoare. Este o victimă a bullyingului, iar agresorul este chiar o fetiță pe care nu demult o considera prietena sa. Cuvintele urâte care îi sunt adresate o afectează nespus de mult până când își descoperă propria putere interioară și învață cum poate pune capăt agresiunii. Povestea micuței Alice este inspirată de întâmplări adevărate și a fost scrisă pentru a ajuta și alți copii să scape de bullying.

Hát, nem nyerte el a tetszésemet. Túl naív. Igaz történetnek írják, nem tudom elhinni. Ez a szekáló szó se túl erős. A végén szerencsére leírja a szerző, hogy ez csak egy történet, nem lehet minden szekálót így legyőzni, minden eset más, ennek örültem. Talán azért nem érzem elégnek, mert engem "szekáltak" iskolában, pöppet komolyabban, mint a könyvben. Nyilván az én esetem is egy eset, az nem végződött pozitívan. Azzal áltatni egy gyereket, hogy csak így meg lehet állítani a szekálót, hogy levegőnek nézzük, súlyos becsapás szvsz. Mert tudjuk, hogy nem, azzal nem lesz vége az esetek többségében. Persze, vhol értem, 8-9 éves gyerekeknek ne írjunk olyanokról, hogy kiugrott az ablakon, jobb a pozitív végkicsengés, csak aztán ha nem szűnik meg, mit fog gondolni?

A great dialogue starter
This book is brilliant to start dialogues about bullying. It was written from a story of a third grade girl in Australia and is based on her true story. It also illustrates what adults can do to help the child to empower themselves, and how we all need to empower people to stand up to bullies. Another good book to use in school to tackle this difficult issue.

Good but could be better
Well written text and nice illustrations. But solutions on how to deal with the bully are a bit too simplistic especially since the story says the girl and her mum read books on how to deal with the bully. Yet came up with only three actions that dont always work so easily.

Full stars I love that book
These were the words of my six year old. It is such an insightful book which helps explain to young kids what bullies are and how to deal with them. “It made me feel confident” was another quote! Well worth a read to the kids
