3.75 stars-- MOOKY is the fifth instalment in Victoria Jayne’s contemporary, adult ODIN’S FURY erotic, MC romance series. This is club member/tattoo artist Mooky Retz, and Dakota ‘Blue’ Frost’s story line. MOOKY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Mooky and Blue) MOOKY focuses on the relationship between club member/tattoo artist Mooky Retz, and Dakota ‘Blue’ Frost. Mooky Retz is a tattoo artist, and works at the club owned shop. As an apprentice tattoo artist Dakota ‘Blue’ Frost is up close and personal with all of the club members but more specifically she is in a relationship, and has fallen in love with Mooky Retz but all is not well in Mooky’s life, and the past is demanding everything and more. What ensues is the building but fracturing romance and relationship between Mooky and Blue, and the fall-out as Blue is forced to walk away, breaking both her heart, and Mooky’s heart in the process.
Mooky Retz knows a thing or two about secrets, and he has a couple of secrets that are about to implode. From a rookie cop with a vendetta, to a past that refuses to let go, Mooky knows it is only a matter of time before he loses everything including the woman he loves. Victoria Jayne does it again. This book made me laugh, tear up and gasp out loud. I do love me a slightly criminal MC spicy book. We see almost no club business in this book, it is all about our couple (title character Mooky & his kick ass, curvy woman, Blue) and their relationship.
Odin’s Fury MC is not out for law abiding joy rides but this story doesn’t qualify as a dark or immorally ambiguous one either. Yes, some of the guys are the stereotypical misogynist dicks that you just love to hate but Mooky is not one of those guys. He is a genuinely good man and I found myself rooting for him from the start. Plot is fairly simple- club whore that is not really a club whore hooks up with club enforcer. They become more than a hook-up. He’s also her tattoo mentor and boss.
The spicy scenes are hot which for me is a must have but there is no kink. The storyline draws the reader in but please be warned this is not a HEA. This series has the story continue from book to book. I suggest reading books 1-3 for background info but it is not necessary to enjoy book 4. Now, let’s talk characters.
Mooky. Oh Mooky. Such a gorgeous dumbass. His lies of omission cause most of the drama and heartache in this amazing book. Of course what badass biker is going to start out being totally open and honest about his feelings even when alone with his woman?
Blue does not get off as the innocent victim though. Her refusal to communicate and tell Mooky what she is thinking (not even feeling, just her thoughts) exacerbates this hot couples issues.
Be prepared for heartache.

Not Your Happily Ever After
This is a book that gave me everything I love in my MC reads with the hot alpha biker with a past and a woman he loves. Mooky is the enforcer and runs the club’s tattoo shop for Odin’s Fury MC. Blue was a club girl who is not only an apprentice in his shop but she is now exclusively his within the clubhouse as well even though he hasn’t officially made her his.
Oh, how I loved their relationship with all the steam I expect but how everything can change at the drop of the hat when other people enter the storyline and secrets are revealed. Be warned though because you don’t get your HEA; you’ll just have to wait to see how this will all work out. I know, I for one, can’t wait to see where this author will take us next.

Dakota “Blue” Frost has her life course finally. She has her life dream of becoming a tattoo artist on course as an apprentice in the shop for the Odin Fury’s MC and she has the man of her dreams in her life, what more could she want?
Mooky is the enforcer for the Odin Fury MC and he’s a very talented tattoo artist. He runs the tattoo shop, and he has a beautiful apprentice working with him. Business and pleasure in this shop go hand in hand for Mooky and Blue.
These two have been together for eight months, but they don’t know everything about each other and when an afterhours visit reveals Mooky’s worst nightmare, things get rocky. Blue isn’t sure she should stick around and she’s now doubting her choice to work in the shop. Has everything been a lie since she started a relationship with Mooky? Is her apprenticeship in danger as well? How about her career?
This story has angst, danger, secrets, betrayal, and great characters. The Odin’s Fury MC is not an MC to threaten or go after and more than one person is headed that way. Now Mooky has to dig deep to find the strength he needs to take care of his past and keep his MC out of the line of fire. When two worlds collide, it can get messy. I really enjoyed this story and give if a 4.5-star review. I loved Blue and Mooky. I look forward to more of the Odin’s Fury MC and these characters.

Mooky is not only the Club's Enforcer, he's also the boss of the tattoo studio. Blue, one of the club girls is an assistant in the shop as well as his apprentice, she's also much more than that, they have been exclusive for months but now a dark cloud has shown up, Mooky's wife, the one he's been trying to divorce for months but she refuses to sign the papers, the one Blue knew nothing about.
Omg, this is such an emotional rollercoaster, I really dislike Angela with a passion, she's sly and manipulative, poor Blue, she knows she's just a Club girl and has to follow rules, rules mind, that she is breaking with Mooky, how can she compete with the wife, but Mooky doesn't want Angela, it's Blue he wants, but when it all comes to a head will he have her?
I'm just hoping Blue gets to tell her story, which I'm very, very sure she will, but ..... will it be a happy ever after?
Riveting from the very first page, this is a page turner for sure.

One of my favorite tropes is MC. So I have read many. This book hooked me from the start. Mooky and Blue were both well developed characters. Their love story was strong throughout. As a reader, I felt the raw emotions of both characters. From the beginning, you want their relationship to succeed. The turmoil caused by the soon-to-be ex, Angela, pulls you into the story and her actions make you hate her character.
What will Angela do next? Will the club be pulled into the fight? Can Mooky and Blue’s love survive this test? I can only hope for a continuance of their story in the next book. I’m looking for a HEA!

This is the 5th book in this incredible series, and this is Mooky and Blue’s story. Mooky is the enforcer for the MC as well as a tattoo artist who runs the club’s tattoo business, and Blue is a former club girl who assists in the shop as well as an apprentice tattoo artist. Mooky and Blue have been exclusive for some time, but he is hiding a secret which he hoped to have resolved before Blue finds out. However, his past comes back to haunt him with an evil and manipulative ex, but will that be the end of his relationship with Blue? This is a well written story which is raw, gritty, intense, and is an emotional roller coaster, with friendships, truths, twists, secrets, lies, loyalty, vengeance, obsession, drama, angst, heartbreak, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner.

I have fallen in love with all of the Odin’s Fury Motorcycle Club books. This book didn’t disappoint. What the club and its members go through, ah, I love it and hate it at the same time. Characters are so relatable.
Blue is a club girl so close to her dream, becoming a tattoo artist. She’s currently an assistant and apprentice to Mooky, the manager of the shop and the clubs enforcer. They’re also seeing each other. But as things are going good for them, Molly’s past comes back threatening to ruin everything for Blue and Mooky. A secret is never knew about. Will Mooky be able to fix what’s happened or will Blue loose everything she’s worked for a loves?
So much angst, emotions, secrets, difficult decisions, live worth fighting for, a horrible ex and so much more. Can’t wait for more from Jayne.

Mooky never thought he'd find a woman like Blue. She was talented and he'd help make sure she was as good at her craft as he knew she could be. She was upbeat and sexy as heck, his work team as well as his brothers loved her. He didn't think his life could be this good—until...
For MC fans there is little MC action in this one it is more relationship. While I can't tell you without including spoilers I was disappointed but not with the writing and the story so I never lower my review stars unless that is the case. I do love the series and I'm pretty sure this is an important part of the ongoing story. I'm sure most fans will enjoy reading it.

This ends on a cliffy so you will need to get the next story in this series for your answers.

Even though this isn't the 1st book in the series I was able to follow along with it (just made me what to read the ones before this one)
Mooky- everything was going good until his wife shows up and won't give him a Divorce, he is trying to keep it out of the club but he might have to change his mind
Blue- working as an apprentice at a tattoo shop for Mooky, she's got the guy, the life she wanted until she meet his wife
What would you do to keep what you have or walk away with nothing
This was a super fast read, once you think you know what's gonna happen, it turns the other way. I can't WAIT for the next book!!!

This book is about the romance between biker and tattoo artist Mooky and club girl and tattoo apprentice Blue. It’s well-written. Characters are layered- even the main antagonist- and Mooky and Blue are sympathetic characters whom I couldn’t help but root for. It was so good that I didn’t take a star off for the book having a cliffhanger, and I really dislike cliffhangers. If you don’t mind a cliffhanger, read this book immediately. If you don’t like cliffhangers, consider reading this book anyway. It’s very good. Recommended.

Mooky and Blue are so freaking hot!!! I love how Victoria Jayne writes but she always rips my heart out. I felt for Mooky and what he is dealing with, glad he had his brothers to help him. Angela ugh, I wanted to jump into my book and rip her head off. I so have Mooky and Blue's back!!! I love this book so much and this is only the first half their story, can't wait to read Blue!!!

I enjoyed this book and would recommend it. Mooky is a bit of an emotional cliffhanger, and has more than one thread to the storyline.
Mooky is a lovable mess and his private life is a disaster. The characters are well portrayed and the book is an page turner. At the end of the book I had a huge dislike of both the almost ex-wife Angela and the rude, Psychotic, sheriffs deputy and sympathy for the angst and difficult position Blue is in.

Going against club rules Blue falls for Mooky and makes me fall in love with her! I wasn't sure how I felt about Blue when I started, but I fell I guess just as hard as Mooky! And who knew a club enforcer could be so sweet and mushy at times. This book will make you fall in love and then rip your heart out... Waiting for the next book might just kill me! I need to know what happens!
On a side note I have never loved a character more for hitting someone in the mouth!!!! I wanted to just at the first mention! You will understand trust me. Now i just wish i couldve been the one to do it lol

The premise of the book was not what I expected. Mooky and Blue are the two main characters who must deal with a secret he has kept from her. The biker angle did not play a big part in this story and there is a cliff hanger. I enjoy biker books and has purchased other books on this series. Can't wait to see how things play out. I received a free copy of this book to read and review. All opinions freely given.

Blue works with Mookie. They seem to have a good relationship until secrets he has been keeping come to light. This is a new author to me and I am so glad I came across them. I adored such character. I want to know more about them all. This didn’t end up with a happily ever after. Hopefully in a future book this amazing couple find it. This author got me from minute one. I couldn’t put it down. Absolutely superb.

This is a good 4 star book for me. Mooky & Blue make a great couple. I admire Blue for how she holds herself. My heart broke for her at times. I was really pleased with how Mooky tried so hard to do the right thing. All around good book.

Whilst I did enjoy this book, loved that Blue was plus sized and fabulous I would of encouraged it more had in not been in 3rd person. I really felt for her and Mooky is not wrong in what he did, it was to protect her but she got more hurt in the end.

This was my first read from this author. I truly enjoyed the story. However the reason I gave it four stars was that it was written in the third person point of view which is a deal breaker for me.

Once again as with the previous four books in this series I was really interested and looking forward to finding out what happens with Milky and Blue but it looks like I have to wait to find out. Highly recommend reading.

Sexy love! Lots of romance, not much club business. Not what I’m used to with MC stories but still a compelling read. I liked this group of brothers and the club with the usual prospects, club girls and ole ladies even if the last three are background for the most part. The action, danger and violence was missing with hints of past issues, but the club seems on a good path for a 1% MC. The romance was delicious and emotional especially when Mooky’s secret came out in a big way. He’s a sexy brother and club enforcer so he’s been up close and personal with danger and violence, while his ire at the moment is for his soon to be ex. Now that is one witch I can only hope meets the brutality of this 1% brotherhood. Poor Mooky is paying for his teen mistake even with his wonderful kids. I kinda hope he finds his balls and takes care of his problem. Will Blue wait it out or has she had enough? That ending says it all. I loved Blue with her sweet disposition and interesting style. The connection between her and her man is more than just romance which I liked. This is an emotional love story with angsty moments and heartbreak. I did miss the brutality and violence that comes with a 1%er MC story but this is still an intriguing read. I look forward to the next part of Blue and Mooky’s story. Worth the read!
