Enjoyed
Spice 🌶🌶
I am enjoying the story so far. I like both the main characters and its nice to spend time reading a strong FC. I was expecting each book to be a complete story in this MC world but its not which isnt a big deal, but the book just ended in a blah place.
This is the first time I'm reading this author and the writing is good although the sex scenes which are few are strangly worded in some places all use names for body parts & acts that are on my "words i hate that describe body parts list." Just call them what they are. It makes the scenes unsexy. (Nub, folds, breasts and a word in one scene i had to look up and it doesnt translate so i still have no clue what her "shawth" is).
I am enjoying the love match although if you do not like insta love you might want to choose a different book to read. This reads more like a YA then an an Adult or Dark MC. It most definately is not dark.
I like the new take on an MC storyline. Sister of soon to be head of one club (who refuses her birth right and will not become a member & leader) falls for eldest son of rival club, who is expected to take over but left the club and his birth right 6 years before. Change his name and became a tech billionaire who gives generously and helps young inventors attain their dreams to make up for the blood on his hands. Of course there is hatred between the clubs and families as the MMC father is still trying to force him back to the dragons to take over yet the Dad murdered the MFC & her brothers parents in cold blood years before. Again, nice fresh concept. Two people not involved in club life yet pressured by family to return or become members. Obviously things blow up when it is discovered the the couple is together though we only start seeing fallout on one side as the book ends.
I really wish this story was upgraded to read as an adult or dark MC romance but it misses the mark. If you enjoy YA or have a pallet more inclind to "nice romance" then pick up this series.
