Marnie Brown has been exploring the great outdoors with the local youth group for the last week. Lonely without the company of Jake, her best (and only) friend, she’s eager to make up after their latest argument.
Her uneventful trip takes a sinister turn when sirens wake her, causing panic throughout the camp. As they return home, the sights Marnie sees leave her with more questions than answers— including who the adults mean when they talk about ‘them’.
But there’s one thing she wants to know more than anything else - where’s Jake?
Them is an introduction to the Tempus series. If you like a fight for survival, teenage angst, and a feisty heroine, then you’ll love TS Arthur’s debut foray into YA romance.
Buy Them today to get lost in a new YA vampire series.
TS Arthur is a multi genre author from the UK who enjoys chasing words as they appear to her at random, inconvenient times. A mummy, ex-teacher and avid reader, she squeezes in writing when the family are napping or busy playing. You’ll often find her sat writing whilst being battered by a teddy or plastic axe, or sometimes a cat paw.
Happy to try any genre, her stories mostly feature relatable characters that everyone can enjoy. She has always carried a notebook and held dreams of being an author, although it took longer than planned to get the ball rolling. Whilst her life may be busy and hectic at times, she will always continue building a wide range of stories and characters to help readers achieve that ‘escape’.
I really enjoyed the start of this series. It leaves mystery which makes you want to read the next book and sets up a dystopian world.
Marnie is away from home when terror strikes. She has to make decision which will affect if she sees her family again or survives. Even choice has a consequence.
A quick introduction into this new world by T.S Arthur. I like paranormal and I like a twisted tale, and i do look forward to seeing where this series ends up. If you like a YA Paranormal story then this is one for you.
I really enjoyed this short book It was well-written and a little scary. A group of teenagers returns from a camping trip. They have been out of range, but soon as they get a signal on their returns, their phones explode. Some are saying, don't come home. As soon as they enter the town, it is quite clear something big has happened as there are abandoned cars everywhere. They eventually find people holed up in a community centre. What happens afterwards is very exciting and kept me turning the page. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
