Best Friend:
I loved this book. Best friends becoming something more and having to decide how much love is worth. I enjoyed the banter and antics between the two and the musings in their heads. The small town seems wonderful and the other characters mentioned seem great - I can’t wait to read about them in future books!
Dyess Audiobook review addition:
I have previously read all of the books by this author and am now working my way through listening to them. This is my first time listening to a book done by Dyess. I've heard amazing things about him, but he simply blew this out of the water! Incredible. The different voices, different enough to easily distinguish characters, but it sounded completely natural. Smooth speaking, emotions, a wonderful presentation of this book.

Secret Baby:
This book really was incredible. It was better than I could’ve imagined. A wonderful second chance, surprise child romance. I absolutely loved these characters and getting to know more of Sweet Water. I’m super pumped for Ford’s story and eagerly anticipating Georgia’s!
Audio addition: This book had the most physical romance (still very clean) of any I’ve heard Dyess read. I was very impressed at how it came across. As always, an audio that caused me to continue to listen (even though I read it earlier this year) rather switch to reading a new book.

Beauty:
I love books with a hint of fairy tale retelling in them and Beauty and the Beast is my favorite of them all! I loved this book. I knew it was going to be good, but wowza was it ever amazing! The background on our two mains was fabulous. I love the double emphasis on the inner rather than outer beauty. Having our second main be a former model was like the icing on a cake. I can't wait to devour the next book!
Audio:
Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale. I loved that this is a bit of a retelling. The audio was amazing. There were times where I completely forgot that there was only one person speaking! Incredible.

Best Friend's Sister:
I’ve been waiting for this matchup since the second book. A high level of anticipation with each hint we got. However, I still wasn’t prepared for the intensity and incredibility of this book. It was amazing. Part of me wants to immediately reread it! I can’t wait to see what other books come out of Sweet Water.
Audio:
The hospital saga and all of the “scoops” are wonderful in audio! Another wonderful audiobook by Dyess. Loved it.

Convenient Marriage:
I really enjoyed Rem and Elaine’s story. They both were overcoming heartache and choosing a difficult path. I especially liked the emphasis on the children. I’m excited to read the next book!
Audio:
It’s amazing to me that even though I read this series earlier this year, I am so much enjoying listening to them! I really thing this one hit the heart even harder through audio.

Fairy Tale:
This book has elements of Cinderella in it. I really loved Nell’s heart and smile and choice to be happy and gracious. I think it’s something sorely lacking in our world today. I also liked Ryder and his reasonings and how things came along as he worked through his thoughts and feelings. I was excited to be introduced to a couple characters that we’ll see in upcoming books.
Audio:
Reading a fairy tale - listening to a fairy tale. They are both lovely! I love how Dyess can make so many characters - and personalities - come alive.

Secret Romance:
Wow. These books just keep getting better and better. This book was..just..wow. I don’t have the words. From their histories and the women and the families and friends and everything else.. it was incredible. I didn’t want it to end! But I am beyond pumped for the next book!
Audio:
As I’m beginning to expect, Dyess takes a wonderful book and makes it into an even better experience. I’m sincerely impressed with the little girl voice. :) There was so much happening in this story with the backstory and some secrets and all the characters. I’ve got to say that Clay is a bit of an idiot, but this story wouldn’t be half as good without that.

Bargain Bride:
This was a very unique storyline and I loved it! I couldn't keep from turning the pages (or rather, swiping on my kindle app). My stomach was twisted up in knots almost the whole times as I was on pins and needles about all of the happenings. So much happened in this book between the mains and it was incredible. I'm super excited for Abner's story next.
Audio:
So unique but well done. Some difficult stuff in here and very well portrayed in this audio. Another impressive listen. I totally binged it in one day!

The Cowboy's Enemy:
Wow. I'm speechless. In the first chapter alone I was thrown for so many loops. Total bombshell. I stopped halfway through that chapter and I just sat, shellshocked. This book was very serious and sobering. There was a strong theme surrounding forgiveness for past mistakes and hope for the future. These characters were very well done. I liked the bit of Amish that was woven in. This book definitely didn't have as much of the lightheartedness that most of these books have, but it was really well done and there was still a good amount of humor and teasing.
Audio:
I loved this audio. Abner's voice showed such care!

The Cowboy's Mistletoe Christmas:
So, I had tons of emotions with this book. When I finished the last book I knew Angela was getting the next one and I didn’t like it because I was upset with her. However, by the time I found out about the bet in this book (that’s what I get for not reading the blurb I suppose), I was all upset about the treatment of Angela. Talk about whiplash! Anyways, this book was pretty incredible. Showing that people can change and a focus on the minute by minute choices. I loved the Christmas theme too.
Audio:
I especially loved the little girl's audio :)

Marriage Mistake:
I loved this book. There were a lot of twists and it was awesome! The character, as always, were amazing and the storyline was sweet and lovely. I'm sad that this is the last book of the series and I sure hope that Gussman comes out with more because, I have to say, I am completely addicted to these stories. I literally can't put them down.
