Concerned by the changing social climate in Gimul, Ryoma resolves to reinvigorate the city and take out whoever is orchestrating the city's decline. With the help of reinforcements (courtesy of the duke) Ryoma uses his connection with the city's residents to his full advantage, concocting revolutionary policies and businesses to clean up the streets of Gimul! Meanwhile, the nine gods call Ryoma to explain a key piece of information about slime magic... The slime-ridden slice of life continues in this fantasy world, this time in the snow-crested city of Gimul.

Good read!!

I like the story very much. It was better than book 10. My only problem with this whole series is the story gets shorter but the price gets higher. I don't know if I'll keep buying.

Good but mostly filler

There is some advancement of the story but it mostly just there to remind us of the current story, over all still a good book worth the read.

More is revealed as we work towards the climax of the troubles in Gimul. Can't wait to dive into that. Meanwhile this was a decent entry, but might come across as boring for most. I did enjoy it though, since this is, after all, a slice of life story.

Volume 11 contains a lot of talking about the MC, his motivation and goals, intermixed with a bit of research and a hint of progress towards the overall threat near the end of the book. While I like slice-of-life, and I am somewhat curious where things are going, it was at times a bit boring. Not the best of the series.

Ryoma and Gimul finally settle down.

There are a number of revelations in this book. From

The plot is finally taking huge strides. Ryoma's laid back days are getting fewer, what with new and more powerful people noticing him. I'm worried about what will happen to him from here on out though. Especially since, this book highlighted how much he treasures the people around him now and the people who care for him in turn. I'm worried since the suspicious people are going to take drastic measures against Ryoma and for sure, they would target the people around him to land a huge blow on not just him but Reinhart too. I'm interested to know how Ryoma will grow as a character from that and how he would respond to that too.

Will he make big decisions that are beyond his comfort zone? Will he employ help from his friends? How will everyone react to Ryoma being targeted, now that he's become such a key person? These are all questions I would love to find answers in the coming books. This book leaves so many things hanging and I'm so excited for the next book to come! I'm looking forward to see how this story progresses. There's still so much left untold, and I'm excited to read all about them!

However, I can't help but notice the few inconsistencies regarding pronoun use present in this book (and the previous one). Not sure if it's because of the translation or if it's really just the book itself. Nonetheless, it doesn't affect the story so it's fine.

I really enjoyed this book. It was tense and left me hanging. I can't wait for the next!

How interesting that Ryoma’s synchronized magic with his sand slime acts to increase the world’s magic rather than depleting it! And that it’s connected to calamity magic that was created by an otherworlder Jamil ancestor. I wonder if that was Shiho? It’s kind of sad that the synchronized magic will reduce the life span of the slime, though.

I wonder if it’s somehow significant that Ryoma is able to visit the divine realm like this when no one else has been able to?

Ryoma seems aware of the dangers of the new compounds he’s made, so while there might be some danger that it will be used for something nefarious, I highly doubt it.

Ryoma has made so many changes in Gimul! I think one of his slimes will evolve into something surprising, what with all the different trash they’re eating. Some of the parts in the middle of the book were a bit boring since a lot was just Ryoma doing work at the medical facility, but not working on anything particularly dangerous like antibodies.

The king’s personality is so surprising! But also rather funny.

What does Serelipta’s mysterious message mean? And what will happen wit Ryoma’s father’s swords?

Awaiting the continuation of this series with great anticipation

This is among the best of isekai series in that each book picks up almost exactly where the last one leaves off. The story is a little slow and steady, but progresses well and is very entertaining. If you are looking for action packed drama, look elsewhere. This is more akin to a slice of life fantasy drama that cares more about character and plot development than it does about how many fights it can fit into each volume. If you like a good story with realistic characters then this series should be right up your alley.

this is a very interesting story

This is one of those stories that will go on like 30/40 novels down the road… and will all still be here reading it because it’s really good. I have harped in the past on the fact that the novels were getting smaller and smaller, but this one rebounded and is now back to its usual size of around 200 or so pages. I think it was spoiled, because like volume six had like 2000 pages. Anyway, really enjoying the story. Sadly, there’s only one left that’s already been written and they don’t have to wait.🙁 this is one of those light novels that I’m very excited that I found. Quality stuff.

WTF translator 😡 Is Fernobelia a god or a goddess? Stop jumping between pronouns. Don't bring American pronouns equality bulshit into a light Japanese novel please. I hope the story picks up soon bc we are mostly dealing with fillers.

Great

I can't wait for the next volumes. Its getting really good how they are plotting against Ryoma. The shock for me was that the Jamils are related to the king.

By The Grace Of The Gods Volume 11 opens with Ryoma Takebayashi dealing with the winter season. The public order takes a hit as more people arrive at Gimul. Ryoma beats up some of the delinquents, and they start treating him like a mafia godfather. Ryoma advises them to choose weapons for their physique rather than on a whim, and Darson helps out. Darson is the person who runs a weapons shop, in case you forgot.

Ryoma goes to the Divine Realm and discusses his slime experiments with the pantheon of gods. His new slime magic is beneficial to the world. Ryoma's keeping busy in other ways, acting as an inventor for various ideas and systems.

Finally, the thugs and delinquents targeting Gimul are losing steam since Ryoma keeps coming up with solutions for crime and overpopulation. The noble house backing them is frustrated and wants to kill Ryoma.

In the Royal Capitol, Elia, Reinhart, and Elize go to meet the King. The King is Elia's uncle, and he is fond of her. Since I am an American, I don't follow Royal family relationships too closely. I know of Dukes, Counts, Earls, Barons, and Marquises. I don't know how much power each holds, but I never had to learn about it. The King knows about Ryoma and wants info about him from the Jamils. The King can tell Elia has budding feelings for Ryoma and wants to sock him in the face.

The bonus chapter relates to the katanas the gods received from Earth's deities. Ryoma's father found a way to impart his soul to the katanas, and now the katanas are cursed. Tekun and Fernobelia both work on a seal to contain the curse.

I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.

Finally we are getting closer to some important action happening in the series, after 11 volumes. That's not entirely true, we only met the sinister people a few volumes ago, and the main character did fight bandits and monsters in previous volumes. I will say the cover art, while nice is a bit misleading. In the book winter is about to happen, and there is no shoveling yet.

In this volume, Ryoma continues to help solve problems in the main town, and finds out that new employee is not all that he seems. In the bonus stories, the sinister group trying to disrupt life in the town, is plotting and having counter plots against them.
