For a debut, this book was super hot with a touch of suspense and enough angst to make my heart stop.

Juliette and Lucas are dynamite together! I loved their individual characters just as much. They click, they’re spot on, engaging, and holy hotness, they’re explosive together.

Infusion at home

The villainous drama is perfect with the mystery weaving slowly through the scenes. And oh my gosh, Juliette’s situation was heartbreaking just as much as Lucas’ care for her was. When that thing happened…I just about keeled over! The agony was tangible. I loved every heart shattering moment of it as much as the care this author took to put it all back together again.

I'm such a fan of fated mates books. It's a good mix of insta-love and obsession.

You get a dedicated hero who wants nothing but the best for the heroine. Lucas showed amazing control when it came to Juliette. He was obsessed right off the start but also very sweet and caring towards Juliette.

Juliette is a strong heroine who has faced so much tragedy in her life. All she has left is a best friend who's more like a sister. Until Lucas. Meeting Lucas has brought so much more to her life, and at a time when she feels it all slipping away.

I liked the unique twist to this story. The answer seemed obvious, but the author threw a wrench in the obvious answer which is why I felt it was unique. I'm looking forward to seeing what else this author brings.

I had the pleasure of beta reading A's debut book. Fated mates is one of my favorite tropes.

Lucas is the type of possessive hero I love. Juliette is the type of strong, yet vulnerable heroine I love. She had to be with what she'd gone through in her young life.

It's a sweet story and I look forward to the next one.

"Until I’d found Juliette, I'd never understood the depths of love someone felt for their mate. My mind, body, and soul belonged to her."

Great start

Awww, Luc for the win. This was a great little debut book from this author. Many interesting concepts for the paranormal world in here. I really liked Luc. He was growly, possessive and protective. Juliette was strong and fierce and a very good match for him. They complimented each other quite well.

I really like the concept of fated mates. It just adds a little something extra to paranormal books. Luc and his coven seem like a fairly tight-knit group of vampires. They are very familial even though they are not blood related. We meet several other vampires who I hope get their own HEA at some point.

This was a good, strong start to this series and I can’t wait to see where the author takes it.
