Cassie a cop was having visions and helped them not come true and was partnered with a werewolf by the Sargent. Finally her mother told her that she was part witch, the guardians caught up with her. Following a rouge gargoyle but Cassie was wearing a necklace to hide her witch side and her gargoyle side. Because I’d triad going after supernaturals they went hiding into the wolf realm. Good book and ready for the next book.

This book was a blast to read, seriously. I loved it. There was action, mystery, comedy, it was great. Cassie and Max are awesome characters, and I cannot wait to see what becomes of them in future books. This was an excellent start to a series. Cassie really dealt with a lot on her own and my heart went out to her. I was glad to see her be able to open up to Max, and vice versa. I love Cassie’s character and how she accepts who she is and wanting to help others. I am liking Garrick a lot. The other characters are great too and I just really want to read the next book!! The connection this book has with one of my favorite shows just thrills me.

This story has a little mystery about Cassie that you will want to know about. Follow her on her journey of finding out who she is. She has vision and thinks people will laugh at her if she says anything. But what she finds out will surprise her? Max is a wolf who ends up being her partner and she seem to get along with him. Then you have Garrick who is a gargoyle and she is scared of at first. But their is something about him that she trust or wants to at least. Then her boss Murphy is keeping so many secrets that she doesn't even know. I will like to see what happens in the next book.

Cassie is a police officer who experiences visions which she uses to protect people. Her sergeant, Murphy, has secrets of his own and has partnered her with a werewolf - another surprise. Then there are the Guardians, gargoyles who keep the peace and are searching for a renegade gargoyle, especially Garrick, who is fascinated with Cassie. I really like these characters and the world that is being built and look forward to the next installment. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.

Very unique story. I enjoyed it and will definitely read book 2. The author makes the characters come alive as the story moves forward at a good pace. Few errors makes it a nice flow to read.

Introduction

Cassie is a policeman who is experiencing visions. They are getting her into trouble but also helping her save the day.
This book introduces Cassie to a world of witches, wolves and gargoyles. The story is barely getting started when it ends. Something big is coming.

This novel was really good and I enjoyed quite a bit. The storyline kept you intrigued and the characters were fleshed out nicely. I will be waiting to read the next installment.
