The author did not change the tone of any of her books. Last one to be read for me. Same kink, same nicknames, same flow except the guy gets abducted (by a mercenary who does not even check his prisoners pockets?) Pretty sure they never got together without a spanking involved. Just met. Here let me spank you 5 minutes after we say hello. You get the idea. Kept hoping for something different with the guy, girl. And mafia. Disappointing author.

Pasha's family is in the Bratva, which means he's all involved in the family business so there's always some sort of danger. He's considered the best looking in the family, and no one really knows how much that bothers him because it seems like he's not taken seriously. He finds his person in Sumiko, an amazing girl who has some demons of her own (body image issues), so because of that, she doesn't feel like Pasha is on the up & up when it comes to her. However, they're perfect for each other, so the sparks are flying, but even more important, she helps quiet his demons while he's showing her everything she thinks about herself is completely wrong. Of course there's that whole Bratva thing so the twists are coming in hot as new danger pops off. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way since there's a lot of action packed goodness on top of the heat/romance between Pasha & Sumiko. I'm still trying to figure out how I never met this author long before the recent past because she's so talented & her writing style is right up my alley so I'm super excited for more! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Pasha is on holiday in the Caribbean with his brother & two cousins when he sees a gorgeous dark haired woman & he's smitten. Sumiko is on also on holiday with two friends, she can’t believe it when a gorgeous man buys her a drink. Sparks fly but they both return home the following day. However they are fated to meet again.
The fourth book in the series & yes it could be read on its own but when a series is SOO good I’d recommend ready in order. A very well written enthralling read which I found hard to put down, the characters have depth & so very well portrayed, the pace is fast & never lags. It's not a short book but the pages flew by. I loved both Pasha & Sumiko, they are complex characters, both are intelligent but have insecurities, he's the 'pretty' boy of the family but is so much more, like his cousins he fell hard & fast for his soulmate, he’s also loving & caring. Sumiko has issues with her body image & I loved how Pasha addresses this. I was engrossed in their story & was captivated by their journey to a HEA

I love Sabine Barclay, and her stories are always so good. They can have parts that are a struggle, but she doesn’t get so dark the story becomes difficult to read. I am loving this series, and these brothers. If you like really well written and exciting mob style stories grab this series up, you won’t be disappointed!
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.
3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.

Pasha is in a family that is in the Bratva and he has been groomed to do the same thing all his life. He has always, all his life been considered the best looking in his family, but he really doesn't like it when people think of him that way because he feels like no one takes him seriously. He is a guy who lives his life with constant danger around him but thought of as the best looking. I can so see how that would really be annoying to him. Next story in the Ivankov Brotherhood series next up is Pasha. He’s always been the pretty boy of the family, everyone things he pretty shallow until he sets his sights on the woman of his choice Sumiko. Pasha knows she’s not from his world of the bratva and he needs to proceed with caution. He sees her and knows he’s wants to get to know her better, she doesn’t think his attraction is real questions his motives. I love how they both have insecurities, they both want work on getting to know each other better and fate has a way of throwing obstacles in the way, especially an old boyfriend Pasha knows is in the Cartel. An old enemy is back, who hired him as everyone is a suspect until the truth comes out. A captivating story with Pasha and Sumiko right in the middle of everything, will the drama bring them closer, or will his secrets drive them apart? Pasha knows she’s his soulmate and now to just convince her, trust her with his secrets, his love and his life. There a few twists and turns as the secrets and lies are revealed as the Ivankov Brotherhood tries to determine who their enemy is and who they can trust. This book as the usually upheavel, the guys are mafia after all, and Pasha is not happy to find that Sumiko had dated someone in the cartel. The brother of someone who troubled the family and though banished has returned to try again. Pasha put his trust in Sumiko when he told her more than he should have about his life almost from the beginning and knew she would have his back.

Pavel, aka Pasha, meets Sumiko on vacation in Anguialla. Pasha, one of the Kutsenko clan in the Ivankov Bratva, hasn't been in a relationship since he was young. Sumiko is used to not being noticed when hanging with her friends. Right away, the chemistry between them is sizzling! The feel a strong connection and it only grows deeper along the way. And they do get their HEA - yay!
So much happens!! With the Bratva, you know there is danger, threats, suspense, coercion, even kidnappings. The Russian Bratva, the Columbians, the Irish and even the Italians show up this time! Lots of intrigue that keeps the series interesting & moving along.
I appreciated this work showing how important good communication is in a relationship. Opening up & being vulnerable is so tough, but, it can bring you so much closer together.
Looking forward to see what happens in the next book! I'd definitely recommend this book or any in this series. Great mafia romance!.

Loved, loved, loved reading this book. Pasha and Sumiko are down-to-earth, loving, sensitive, Pasha may look like the world's top model but he has the 3 B's: well developed Body, has plenty of Bullets and can dish out a Barb like a 5 star Michelin Chef.
The romantic development between Pasha and Sumiko developed over a short period of time. However, they spent a lot of time together and got to really know each other. It was definitely just like the old saying " You know when you know" In each other they found their other half. Soulmates.
I look forward with anticipation to the next book. I really enjoyed this and did not want it to end. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

I've read quite a few mafia romances over the past few years, but I think this is the first Rusian Mafia, also known as Bratva, I've read. It features pretty boy Pasha and accountant Sumiko's romance. They first meet while on holiday at the beach and find themselves almost irresistibly drawn to one another. Once they return home to New York, their paths cross again and things develop from there.
Sumiko and Pasha make a good couple. They are both the same age and although they have a power play element to their relationship, they do make a well-balanced and equal couple. Their romance moves quickly and Sumiko in particular has a lot to accept in Pasha's lifestyle and role in the bratva. They still work well together though.
I did find that the story was a little drawn out towards the end and I did think that it could have been slimmed out a bit without losing anything. It was still a good read though and one that I really enjoyed.

Book four in the Ivankov series this is Pasha’s story. I have to admit, there’s a lot more to him than I thought. I mean I always liked him but I had no idea he was such a romantic at heart. I guess it just took the right woman. Sumiko is nothing like any of the other women in the series. She was full of surprises and I really liked her. She and Pasha had fantastic chemistry and their bedroom scenes burned my kindle!
Just like the other books there is a ton of story going on along with the love story. More players are getting involved and I found I had to really pay attention to everything happening. No spoilers but I promise, this series is going to get deeper the farther we go. I’m so happy I’ve been along since the start. I can’t wait to see what’s next!.

I have read them all. Each time I think that this man is the best, that Sabine can’t possibly pour more action and shenanigans into her stories, but man does she deliver and take the stakes higher!! Pasha is the sweetest yet, filled with insecurities and a deep instant love for his woman in a true Kutsenko way. Sumito is not your usual heroine: quieter than the others, she’s absolutely adorable. I have really liked the way she has bloomed under Pasha’s love and care. As the others, she is full of surprises, but in a quieter way. Nevertheless, this story will bring back the syndicates’ rivalries to the forefront, having you sitting on the edge of your seat to find out what’s going to happen. Another book you won’t be able to put down! Start at the beginning of the series to enjoy the family fully!.

Another amazingly suspenseful book from this author. Because these books and the book in particular deal with mafia, cartel, and bratva relations, it is extremely intense reading. You never know when the next threat is going to happen or where it’s going to come from so in that aspect, it is extremely suspenseful. This book surrounds Pasha and Sumiko’s relationship and how Sumiko‘s family ties into the overall picture. I would’ve given this book 5 stars, if not for the baby girl/daddy kink that has been prevalent in all four of the books in the series. It might not be so bad if I was reading them one at a time and having to wait for the next one to come up. But reading them back to back - it’s just redundant. And I’m bummed that I have to keep repeating myself because I really love this author and her books. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book Four of the Ivankov Brotherhood Series has a little something special to it. Oh it has all the great stuff that the other have. Like to mafia excitement, hot passion, and they way they treat there women so well. Only this one this makes you think back to perhaps your dating days and you could relate to some of these struggles women go through.
Siminko and Pasha met while she was vacationing with her friends. Both coming out of the water there eyes meet. Nothing from here on is what you would expect. Many surprises I’m the story. The best one hidden amongst is a little legend to absolutely warm your heart.

Siminko and Pasha met while she was vacationing with her friends. Both coming out of the water there eyes meet. Nothing from here on is what you would expect. Many surprises I’m the story. The best one hidden amongst is a little legend to absolutely warm your heart.

Okay, okay, so Pasha is gorgeous and he is my second favorite of this family and I absolutely adored him. What I really liked about this story is the tackling of the body image of the heroine, Sumiko. Not that it hasn’t been done before in stories (especially in the last couple of years) but it was the way it was handled. Yes, mean boys said things to hurt her but Pasha defending her to the bitter end was so beautiful. I did want to smack a couple of the cousins for their insensitive remarks but I think it was a “lost in translation” moment. Sumiko was daring and confident but could be hurt which hurt while reading her feelings. I am so so happy that she found her place in Pasha’s arms.

Such a wonderful mafia story, this is the fourth book in the Inankov Brotherhood series.
you are glued to your book from start to finish. There is violence, betrayal, tension between 2 rival families and murder. But the interaction between Pasha and Sumiko is great because despite everything that goes on, he is there for her and the love and romance blossom between them. Sometimes things are not as you see or expected how they would be. If you want to know more about how they are doing and whether their budding romance has a chance of success, I recommend that you read this book highly recommended and I am already looking forward to the sequel of this series.

So I read two books from this series. And both love stories were almost identical. Both baby girl/Daddy relationship was copy-pasted. Why write something new if old material can be recycled. She’s never called anyone daddy before, and he’s never called anyone malyshka (baby girl) before either. It just fell “right”. Just like in the other book they “froze” when she called him Daddy for the first time.
I’m so annoyed with this book. I started skipping pages just to finish it already.
Russian was somewhat good, better than in some Russian mafia books. But still could use some work.
If you love Insta-love, lots of smut and some mafia action, this book is for you. But cringed almost the whole time while reading it.

Bratva Beauty is another fantastic book in the series featuring the Ivankov Brotherhood and the Kutsenko family. They are all alpha men, who were never given a choice about being Bratva. Yet, they have their own code and their women are their weakness. Pasha wants Sumiko in his life, but fears with each new secret he reveals to her will be the last when she decides it is too much. The story has many twists and turns and interconnected characters where each criminal family tries to keep control of their empire. Each book can be read as a standalone. But to truly appreciate them, it is best to read in order because of the continued struggle for power between the families.

After meeting during their vacation celebrating their birthdays, Pasha and Sumiko's relationship quickly escalates. An ex boyfriend causes problems and old nemesis come out to cause issues. This is the 4th book in the series and the series theme should not be a surprise. Strong female characters remain the same, Sumiko is one with some vulnerability (not everyone can be like Laura). Pasha continues the family tradition when it comes to falling in love. The more I read about Sergei and Anton, the more I wish they had a novel/novella of their own. I enjoyed and looking forward to more.

Ms. Barclay has written another delicious Bratva novel with great characters.
I do enjoy how she interleaves the main characters from past stories.
This isn't my favorite of the series, but I enjoyed every minute of it.
Pasha was an intricate character, and I enjoyed how Ms. Barclay peeled the onion.
I loved his vulnerability. I loved how he loved the very different Sumiko. I loved how he defended her! I loved their dynamic!
Plenty of sexy times between these two!

This is the fourth book in this amazing series, and this is Pasha and Sumiko’s story. From the moment these two meet the sparks fly between them, and they are destined to be soulmates. The chemistry between these two is explosive and undeniable, and they complement each other perfectly. This is a well written story which is gritty and raw, with intrigue, suspense, twists, danger, family, violence, action, secrets, trust, lies, and love, which leads to a riveting page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This story is highly addictive at it kept me reading till the very end. Sumiko works as a forensic examiner with their accounts. Pasha is an enforcer for the Ivankov Bratva. I love how they met on vacation and their chemistry was wild and super hot. The story has mystery, danger, betrayal, DDLG kink, twists/turns, dark, devious, lies, threats, secrets, passion and love. I loved seeing the brothers and their wives in this story. I look forward to reading the next story.

Bratva Beauty is the 4th book in Ivankov Brotherhood series. Its a great series, Sabine has created a story that grabs you and holds your attention until the end. It has lots of steamy scenes, its light on the BDSM, and though they use the term Daddy its not DDlg. This book has a solid plot that is easy to follow, with characters that as a reader I fell in love with them. I look forwards to reading more from this author.

I have been gripped by this series since the first book. This is one of the few series where I continually check Amazon to see when the next book will come out and when it does, I literally cannot put it down. It is full of action and is never boring. Also, even though it is a connected series, the plots are never the same/rehashed. It always feels new and surprises me. What I liked about this book in particular are: 1. I really connected to the lead female character and 2. I enjoyed getting to know more about the cousins and their families. This is a must read.

I loved this story so much. Pasha and Sumiko were meant for each other. Of course, this is a Bratva series, so you know there is going to be some drama and other stuff to go along with it, but it's just so good, I couldn't put it down. I really liked Sumiko as she was a lot quieter than the girls in the previous books but that doesn't mean she's weak. This was a good story and I HIGHLY recommend it!

I absolutely loved this book. I’m glad that I have finally found a book with a plus-size reader in a mafia romance book. I’ve waited so long and finally found one that is amazing. Pasha is my new book boyfriend now. Everything about him is just perfect to me. I love how he treats Sumiko from day one. If only this could happen in real life. Sumiko is so smart and I love how she holds herself throughout the book. It was really amazing to read.
