Would definitely recommend this series, it has a great storyline which had a lot of creative elements keeping it intriguing. The characters were amazing and I loved the dynamics not only between the main male characters but also all the additional characters, making it fun and loud.
Sad to see it end but grateful for another loved series to add to my list! Side note, you don’t have to read the 3.1 or 3.2 as they were not worth much although… 3.2 with Sol and Vox💦

Claire - A halfling with all 5 elements 👻🔥💨💧🌏
All 5 fated mates:
Spirit 👻 Exos - King of the Spirit fae with a second element being fire
Fire 🔥 Titus - The strongest non royal fire fae
Air 💨 Vox - A royal descendant, next in line of the Air Fae
Water💧 Cyrus - King of the Water Fae with a second element being spirit and also the younger brother of Exos
Earth 🌏 Sol - Traces of a third royal line thanks to the princess of the earth fae
Im thinking Exos doesn't have much patience, “when I tried, she blew me into a wall.” Exos tilted his head at me. “Twice.” The man tends to have a dry sense of humor, “suffering from a splitting headache,” Exos finished for me, his voice low. “While also rather enjoying lounging between your legs, princess. I think I’ll stay.” I liked this book, I loved the characters and I cant wait for more
BOOK TWO:
Vox is learning all sorts of new things, "bacon came from pigs. Pigs. Eff. That. Why would anyone want to eat a pig?" Titus is just really good to his girl, he lets her be her ownself, “don’t need my permission, sweetheart.” He stretched, making a show of putting his arm around her shoulder. “I’ll go shower before dinner and leave you all to it.” The more we get into this series the more I'm loving it!
BOOK THREE:
Our little Claire is coming into her own and I love seeing her men being put into place, “if you both keep talking about me like I’m not walking between you, I’ll make sure you’re both very unsatisfied.” Isn't Exos a thoughtful man, "...but I’d prefer to live off campus grounds.” His lips brushed mine before drifting to my ear. “Your rapturous screams are for your mates and no one else, Claire. Therefore, privacy is a must.” I loved this series I loved Claire and her mates.
I have been binge reading why choose fae romance for over a week and this was a box set that I couldn’t put it down. The mate circle, Claire and all the other characters had amazing backgrounds and such different personalities that it was an amazing ride with all the feels.
I enjoyed this series and was glad to have read them all at once! I loved the magical element but also the idea that Fae have different affinities. Claire was the chosen one to have access to all five and it was nice to see her grow along with her powers. Plenty of steam in all three books which is just how I like it! I love her water mate, I can’t resist a snarky a hole! Glad to see there’s more books in this world and I can’t wait to read them!
I loved being able to binge almost the whole series in one book-set. Of course, I’m looking forward to the holiday book. And the fact that the two authors have created these interwoven Fae universes is wonderful. Having already read books in two of them, and loved all the books, I can’t wait to start the other series. It’s just been hours and hours of RH reading pleasure!
I read the whole book in a day in a half! Good thing I’m on furlough from work giving me all the time in the world to devour this book! I loved the dif POV’s. It provided much needed clarity, the character development was perfect! I couldn’t get enough of this book! Wish there was a bit more heat but otherwise, it was amazing
**Overall** My only beef with this series is that it’s over. This is one of the harder book hangovers I’ve experienced and it seems to be here to stay. I want more of this world. I also want it made into an epic film series I can binge-watch over and over again. Amazing series. Will paste in individual reviews for each installment below.
*****Book One*****
In ‘Elemental Fae Academy: Book One’, Claire is ripped from her human world—the only one she knows—and thrown into a world where fae and magic are very real. This book does an excellent job of finding balance between her disbelief and culture shock and her eventual acceptance that this new world is indeed real.
As it happens, it’s also slow-burn on the ‘steam’ side of things. While the groundwork is laid perfectly for multiple attractions, and there is some insta-attraction and insta-feels, it plays out at a very comfortable pace that doesn’t make it feel like insta-love. It just fits perfectly for the elemental fae culture, which the authors depict perfectly. If you’re not sure how you feel about reverse harem, or don’t get the ‘why choose’ concept, this book and part of Clarie’s plight is a great place to start.
Character development is advanced. Characters’ individual voices are strong and consistent and you get to know the different personalities and backgrounds easily as this is so well woven into this novel and everything else going on.
Despite this taking place in a non-human realm, it’s still highly relatable. The Elemental Fae Academy is complete with cliques and mean girls, for example, and while the culture is different the intrapersonal interaction is basically what you might expect from such an environment.
The steamy scenes are like no others I’ve read, as the authors manage to work the elements in, making it not just hot, but also intriguing.
The world-building here is perfect. I’m not new to J.R. Thorn, I’m actually a huge fan. But I hadn’t gotten around to reading Lexi C. Foss yet. This book definitely made me realize it’s time to prioritize reading more Foss, as there’s no way either author involved here is capable of producing anything less than awesome. As a reader, I feel extremely lucky that the two have joined forces.
Note: I listened to this book and the narrator is amazing! Most audiobooks annoy me and I rarely finish them. This one, I never wanted to turn off.
5 addicted stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
*****Book Two*****
Book Two does give a recap for anyone just coming in and you could do this and get by for sure but Book One was SO GOOD! I do not recommend skipping it.
Right off the bat, this book is so juicy, with one major character’s status uncertain. I’m easily absorbed right back into this exciting world and loving every second of it. There’s still a bit of ‘culture shock’ going on here, and it’s presented hilariously. The authors’ ability to pull me into this world, remember every detail and work in humor around what seems to be a brewing war is admirable.
Book 2 ends on a bit of a cliffie, so you’ll want to have book 3 ready. Better to just buy the whole set and spare yourself. ;)
5 still-very-addicted stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
*****Book Three****
I NEEDED to start this book the second I finished book 2; and was not disappointed. It picks up right where book 1 leaves off and doesn’t waste any time getting into the dilemma, mystery, drama, impending doom/war and … it’s still really hot.
And that INSANELY GORGEOUS cover?! Is not just a pretty cover … it fits perfectly.
And still, as chaos ensues, the talented authors work in little details and I find myself also enjoying how Claire and her mates sort of fall into being and considering one another as family. This series has so much going on and I’m still living for it … long after having finished it.
It evolves just perfectly enough in a way that has the stakes escalate a bit, has Claire growing and her mates’ powers, etc. as a result … it’s really well done and I can’t help but admire the authors. Definitely will be reading all I can from both.
Now, onto Foss’s Midnight Fae Academy series because this world is a drug and I’ve got to have more.
This could have been a brilliant book! A brilliant series, if every single sentence didn’t have a pet name at the end of it!!!! It made me roll my eyes so much, I was skipping pages, because it was just irritating. Little Queen, sweetheart, little flower! F*ck sake her name is Claire!!!!! Also you don’t even need to use her name in every sentence you speak..
- “I loves you” passed between them in the first book
- one moment they hate each other the next page, book in love. - the characters had their own personality and then they went to mush as soon as they “mated” and they were all “Claire love robots”
There was no depth and it really made me angry, then how about Claire being unconscious when she “mated” with the water prince… like what! Regardless of “her spirit was concenting” it just doesn’t work, if you’re going to brooch a subject like that, you have to be ready for the kick back.. then for her to wake up and be all “ooooooh add love heart eyes” it infuriated me…
Vox was pressured- he and sol didn’t want anything to do with it all, but boom “in love”…
Anyway; then one mate gets kidnapped 3 months later or whatever he’s found, but don’t worry Claire, let yourself be distracted by sex, because you can’t possibly use your brain and help, or the men in your life can’t allow you to actually feel something. Nope we will just get you naked.
Ha! It’s making me mad again, just writing this up. You would honestly think Men wrote this book.
Skip to the end-ish, lots of orgasms later, figured out Elena who calling Claire Dear, every sentence was the bad guy. Save the day, and boom after 2 months let everyone be tutors at the school!
So yeah.
Good luck

I LOVE when book series are collected in one book, so I can just read from beginning to end without having to stop. This series was top tier. No cardboard cutouts for characters here. I really enjoyed the world building and the story line, and even though the sex scenes were great and plentiful there was still plenty of story so this didn’t read like an erotica like most novels. There are multiple POVs which is nice because I liked being able to see into the guy’s heads. Claire is amazing despite being kick ass and powerful from the very beginning she always remained humble, and surprisingly resilient. After being snatched from the life she knew and facing challenge after challenge she never quit or allowed herself to be defeated. This series earned every star and if you stumbled upon it stop reading reviews and get the book. You will not be disappointed
I liked the concept, and the characters. Yet for some reason I just found this to be pretty ordinary. It waffled on in places, and I was more interested in the mystery than the reverse harem. The identity of the antagonist was no real surprise. I’d picked up on some of the character’s inconsistencies early on.
Since I’ve already read the first Midnight Fae book, it was interesting to see Kols and Aflora, and I found their story the more compelling story.
Absolutely loved this trilogy. So much action, intrigue, suspense and sexual attraction. Can’t say enough of how good this series is. This is a reverse harem trilogy, one I will enjoy reading again
Just perfect . The right amount of story with naughty bits. I loved all of the characters. The story kept you wondering what would happen next. All with a happily ever after.
I absolutely loved the over asking plot and enjoyed the steamy scenes my only complaint was at their frequency, I wish they were a bit sparse and great as they were there were so many that I had started to skim, but our side of that a truly amazing work!!
Great characters, great story, twists & turns you don't expect. For me, a new story about fae. I don't want to give too much away. Just read it, you won't be disappointed!
Absolutely loved it!!!! This series is one of the best reads.. It takes you to a magical world with really good characters, and you go through all of the emotions while reading this series.. Definitely recommend this series, and this author..
I read the books as singles, then had to turn around and read this as soon as possible. I have adored this story since I first started it. It's different than anything else I've read. The dynamic between Claire and her mates is the best I've ever read.
This was a good book. I was entertained by the world and the characters. It’s on me to wish that the characters were older. I guess I just wanted it to not be in a school setting. If you don’t mind that, then you will love it.
The ending was predictable not really any surprises I didn’t really guess already from first two. The spicey scenes kept it alive at least but I mean if you are a new reader and want an easy sexy book this is one for you. Story 2/5 Spicey 2/5
The writing was just ok. Story had potential. 2 stars because the whole plot was driven because characters didn’t talk!!!!! DNF at about 60% because I got tired of the plot being obvious but characters not communicating.
