So, I will start off with this book has a great story line. I honestly had a hard time with this review because I was conflicted. The characters are great but you aren’t given enough details about them to be able to picture them fully. The change between scenes and days is abrupt and sometimes a little confusing. More details would have been great as far as knowing what is truly happening in a scene. The repeating of phrases was a little hard to get past along with some formatting and grammatical errors. But overall it is a good book and a great start of a career! Hope to see more books in the future!

Raven is the daughter of the Alpha of their pack. She is meant to find her mate around the age of 21 years old, but she has fallen in love with her best friend Cody that she has known all her life.
It is forbidden for the 2 of them to be together as they are destined to their mate when the time comes.
Raven is heart broken when Cody finds his mate and their friendship is gone.
She finally meets her mate ok her 21st birthday, the soon to be Alpha of his pack Chase.

I really thought that Raven and Cody where gonna fight to be together till the end, but not was I wrong. Raven is your normal 20 year old wolf, who doesn’t have many friends. She can be feisty, strong and born to be a leader.
I wish I had more of a description of her on what she looked like and her personality as well.
Same with Chase I wish I got a little more detail about him and his up bringing.
I did fall in love with Chase right away. He was such a gentleman. He loves Raven so much that he wanted her first time to be special and not rushed. He definitely was a true Alpha to his pack once he took over.
But would Raven and Chases bond and love for each other be enough to keep them together????

This was a great read. I believe that it is Rebecca’s first novel. I think she did a great job. Her writing is good but maybe the story was rushed a little with jumping from one thing to another, but it definitely kept you engaged to the story and not wanting to put it down.
I would love a little more detail in the next book which I’m looking forward to reading.

I. Am. In. Love.

This was so good!! There were a few grammatical errors, BUT it did not affect the reading at all (I’ll outline those later)! My first impressions after reading where this:

Another Wolf’s Mate is an amazing introduction to fated mates. Short, sweet, and to the point. She does a great job elaborating the subject of fated mates, but not making it overly involved. The world building, in my opinion, was just the right amount, making this such a lovely read! My overall experience reading this was peace. Now, let me elaborate a little, because there are several notes on my kindle saying “DON’T YOU DARE BREAK MY HEART!!!” and “Phew…that was close” followed by “JUST MARK HER ALREADY PLEASE I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE.” Furthermore, when I read a book it’s to escape the world we currently live in. To be immersed in something so fully I forget where I am. Another Wolf’s Mate did that for me and more. The imagery and world building were invigorating. You’ll easily fall in love with the characters just like I did.

Few Errors:
There were 2 spots that there was no indication of POV change. One of which had no header and goes straight from one paragraph to the next, but again, it did not affect my ability to comprehend quickly who was speaking. A couple spelling mistakes, and maybe one or two grammatical errors. Overall, very very well done! This isn’t an error, but something I noticed as a little odd. There were quite a few time jumps. While they didn’t necessarily not make sense, it just felt weird. I kind of wanted more time with the characters. Again, this is not really an error, just personal preference.

The Story (****SPOILERS****)
I absolutely loved Raven. First with Cody (yes, I was rooting for them at first), because friends-to-lovers is definitely a awesome trope. Theeeeeeen he had to go break my girls heart and I wanted to punch him. BUT, you could tell he was kind of struggling with being in love with Raven and mated to that awful person Ava. Granted, in the beginning I was really hoping her and Raven would work it out or soooooomething. Boy was I wrong. Anyways, Chase comes into the picture and at first I’m like holy woah that was a fast change. Then again, that is how the mating bonds woooork so yeah. I adjusted pretty quickly after the bond fell into place. At first, I thought he was going to cheat or get caught doing something that would hurt Raven. Regardless, these are #COUPLESGOALS. Ugh. Adorable. There are so many other big events that happen, but I’ll leave that for you, the reader, to enjoy. 😉

This spicy werewolf read was action packed and fast paced. I was hooked from the start as Raven fell in love with her best friend, who was not her mate, Cody. Their relationship was authentic and you could really feel their connection. But when they both meet their mates, that’s when the story really begins.

If you love spicy shifter romance with fated mates, found family and an incredibly sexy yet sweet MMC then this one is for you!

Do make sure you check trigger warnings first as the story does include kidnap, attempted SA, death of a loved one, and pregnancy loss.

This was a good debut novel and I look forward to reading more by this author!

ARC read - 3.5 stars

I had no idea going into this read what it was about as I didn’t read any synopsis or reviews. I received this book as an ARC after signing up on TikTok. I enjoyed the concept of this book where one’s wolf mate is determined by the moon goddess and there is an undeniable bond.

The initial love story between Raven and Cody, I thought may centre around how they might overcome and challenge this fated concept of having a mate chosen for you. The moon goddess is mentioned and I wished she may have appeared as an apparition to bless people with their mates.

When Chase enters, wow! He is everything you’d want in a partner - caring, loving, patient, attentive, understanding and gorgeous! I wasn’t expecting the spicy scenes that came with this book and there are quite a few.

This book seemed like a memoir of Raven’s life as she navigates through love, loss and all the challenges there are as a wolf. When the story ends years later, with her own daughter facing the same love predicament, it was a nice touch as it came full circle.

Trigger warnings - there are scenes of kidnapping, sexual assault, abuse, pregnancy loss and grief of a loved one. Check the content warnings before reading.

The pace was sometimes fast, but then sometimes slow depending on what was going on. I did feel like we didn’t get to know the characters in as much depth as I would have liked - their bonding/closeness happening behind the scenes. I did wonder where the packs got all their money from, as they seemed to have it good, but always had wolf pack duties to attend to - unless that involved their own businesses and I misinterpreted. The MC did use the word “mate” a lot throughout the book. I realise it was to describe their life partner and is wolf speak, so maybe it was intentional to not use other words to describe their forever person.

Overall I thought it was a great debut novel and excited to see what other works come from this author.

I absolutely loved this book. I was blessed to receive an arc of it and I am so glad. I enjoyed the story. The main character was a strong female werewolf who mistook her feelings for her best friend as real love. That is until she met her fated mate and found real true love with him. Chase is the perfect book boyfriend. He is a true romantic. There is a villain who is so easy to hate. I liked it from start to finish. Get you a box of tissues before reading though because parts of it did make me cry. I can't wait for this author's next book.

“You are my safe place,” I whisper softly. “My Alpha.”

Raven falls in love with her best friend Cody, only for him to find his fated mate. Heartbroken, she pushes on and she also finds her fated mate Chase.

This story had a great plot, at times it went from one point a view to another and also skipped ahead. There were some redundant words like “whilst” which was driving me a little nuts as it seemed to be on every page.

Overall, it was a good first novel and my rating is 3.5 stars. I think with a great editor your books will be amazing!

I really enjoyed this book. It is a standalone so I feel some scenes were very abrupt so the book didn’t require a sequel. At the time of that scene I wondered why it was included until later on in the book… but then it came together with the current storyline and I understood the need for it.

I would love to have some more depth into the relationships in the book so I had a chance to feel more for certain characters but as I stated before I understand why as it would have made it a chonky paperback.

All in all a great first book for Rebecca and I can’t wait to read more of what she has to come.

The storyline is good. I felt horrible for Raven when Cody found his fated mate not long after they proclaimed their love for each other. But then Raven finds her fated mate in Chase. Chase is the sweetest and so romantic.
There is also some shady stuff that goes on with a neighboring pack that peaked my interest and kept me reading.
My only issue was that the transitions from days and scenes were abrupt and I’d have to read back to see if I missed something.
But all in all I did enjoy the book. And the author did well for it being her first book.

Very cute and exciting! There are twists and surprises, love and betrayal. It has a little of everything! Raven and Cody are adorable and hot. Then enters Chase who loves Raven so much. I liked how the ending and epilogue sum everything up and peek into the future for Raven & Chase. I can see where there may be an opening for a second book!

I have to say I really enjoyed this Fated Mates Shifter Romance. The storyline was really good and the world building was detailed enough that if you’re new to the genre, you’ll get a good idea of how things generally work in the werewolf world.
The friendship between Raven and Cody is really lovely as we see the two best friends break all the rules and fall inlove despite not being mates. However, they then face a challenge when their actual fated mates appear. It should be happy from there for both but unfortunately jealous lurks beneath the surface and an unforgivable betrayal ends with someone losing their life.

I have to say, I loved how much story we got but I did feel at times that things moved a little too fast. I would have enjoyed certain times being slowed down a little with a bit more detail. But the fast pace did mean we got to see a lot more moments than you might not usually get which I did enjoy.
The spice is well done and there’s a good amount without it overtaking the storyline. 🌶
I’m a sucker for a HEA and this did not disappoint. No cliffhanger, it’s just a lovely ending.
My heart does ache for Cody and despite everything I do wonder if he ended up happy. I hope so ❤️

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this read and look forward to the authors next books.

This book went in a completely different direction than I thought it would, and I really enjoyed it. I wish we could have explored some more of the relationship between the Raven and Cody, but absolutely love her mate and how passionate they were about each other. This is a great read if you want a palate cleanser and love an enticing werewolf/ mate story.

A fated mate romance that will hook you in! Who doesn't love wolves, fated mates, betrayal, love, spice, an extremely caring, loving and ridiculously hot MMC and shifters! I loved the characters but did wish I had a little more detail on them. Great story line and a great ending that gives you a small glimpse into the future and book 2, which I loved!

I was lucky enough to get a beautiful hardback copy of Another Wolf’s Mate from Rebecca herself 💫

I don’t read a lot of paranormal wolf shifter romances, but I found myself enjoying the book!

Wolf shifters, fates mates, drama and spice - all the things I really enjoy. The characters all had unique voices and I found myself really rooting for Raven. I felt all of the emotions as she navigated her whirlwind life.

‘I will always be your safe place.’

Her romance with Chase was sudden but electrifying. The spice was done well too. I did feel bad for Cody, but I think I knew from very early on that their love wouldn’t last beyond friendship.

I would have loved a bit more detail about the characters so I could visualize them better, and perhaps some more background on them all. But that’s just me!

The happy ending, including the story coming full circle with Ravens own daughter, was a nice way to finish the book.

A great first book. Well done Rebecca! 🎉

This is one of the first books I read by Rebecca and what started my journey to follow on with her other books. They get better and better with every read.

The chemistry between the characters is electric, and the twists will leave you breathless. If you love a tale of fated mates with a twist and a strong female lead, this is a must-read!

I enjoyed Another Wolf’s Mate, I would have loved to see more of the MMCs POV as it is 95% Raven’s.
It is a good, easy read and I just love the fated mates trope. There is alot that happens and please check your trigger warnings, the chapter is marked and lets you know but good to know before starting.
