This is the conclusion of a very complex, very complicated and very disturbing story. It's not something for faint-hearted. If you are expecting a romantic story then you will definitely not find it in this series. This is one of the darkest romance fiction I've ever read.

Full of secrets and lies in the world of a brutal cult, that exist parallel to our world.
The Orders steal, cheat and enslave people to make them to their perfect slaves.
Powerful organization with lots of money and influence, acting in shadows of our world, is looking at victims of human trafficking as something that is completely normal and as if they have the right to be their owners.

This last book is about a struggle for survival, finding ways to heal from extreme trauma and not being able to feel safe in everyday, normal life.
What we find normal every day, the freedoms and everyday life, is unfortunately not always possible for victims of human trafficking.
Love in the learned and accustomed ways, needing pain to feel fully, is their new reality.

I really loved the 5 previous books.
Unfortunately, this book wasn't what I expected, the very long, detailed description of many situations, which made the story drag on, partially broken sentences that led to the next situation, which sometimes didn't make sense, then started with new scenes without bending the others, as if the author forgot what she wrote in the beginning of the sentence, didn't make it easy to focus on the story.

I know I don't understand this world of owners and slaves or BDSM world at all, but Fawn's constant shyness and blushing was just annoying.
This woman has survived years in the most brutal slavery I've read about!
On one side she was intelligent and calculated and a good strategist, on the other a shy little girl who needed help getting dressed.
In letters or thoughts, she could converse normally, but in person, she can't say a full sentence to Elliot?
That just makes no sense.
I would prefer a different ending to Fawn's story.

I am SAD! I can't believe these books are over!!! I was honestly tearing up reading the epilogue. The characters have come a long way since book 1 and they continued to change and have their lives thrown upside-down in Reap. Reap continues with the aftermath of the Wolf manor and how House Lyon changes due to the consequences. The action continues all the way through the epilogue. I will say though that you cannot help but love the ending these characters got! Here's to hoping one day we see more of Fawn, Master Lyon, Mr. B, and Odette.

“Sometimes, there are no shortcuts. We need to endure agony to experience the true blissfulness of joy…It may be ugly and uncomfortable, but you need to feel it all in order to heal.”

Book 6 (the finale) in The Order Series by Nikki Rae

🌹 I was hesitant to start reading this book because I didn’t want this series to end. I wanted to know where Fawn, Elliot, Marius, and Odette’s journeys led to, but I wasn’t ready to let them go.

🌹 To say that I enjoyed this series is an understatement. To say that I didn’t cry while & after reading this series would be a lie. You know that feeling you get when you finish a series that really impacted you, but you can’t quite explain how you feel about it or where you’re suppose to go afterwards…that is where I am at.

🌹 Everyone was left to deal with the aftermath from the events that took place in Harvest. No one knew where or how to start or if it was even possible to heal all the damage they caused each other.

🌹 Fawn’s journey throughout this series is nothing short of beautiful. From being sold, escaping, being caught, beaten & deemed worthless, sold again, transferred, tortured, “freed”, captured & manipulated, hunted by Wolves, captured by the Wolves, and killing the Wolves, it’s safe to say she has been through a lot - a lot, a lot. There are times when she wanted to give up, let the darkness overwhelm her and keep her in its clutches. But she fought, with everything she had left, she fought for the life she wanted to have, for the life she at one point envisioned for herself. Her path had been long & hard but she found it, her freedom, her independence. And eventually in the place she least expected it, she found her happiness, her home, & her family in her Owner, Elliot. In his wife - former - Odette. And in the butler of Lyon Estate & much more, Marius. This is her Happiness. This is her Home. This is her Family.

🌹 Everyone had their own journey to take, but I am most proud of Elliot’s, I believe he grew the most. The impact of is childhood damaged him in ways he hadn’t realized - inside & out - at least not until Fawn. The trust he could never give anymore, he gave to Fawn. The control he could never give anyone, he gave to Fawn. The rest he could never get beside anyone, he got beside Fawn. The happiness he never thought he truly deserved to have, he found with Fawn. He wanted to be better to her. For her. So he let her teach him what she needed, how she was to be treated, how she wanted to live & love. And he did what he could to give that to her no matter the cost to himself.

🌹Side Note: I was unprepared for Elliot’s letters to Fawn, especially the first one. I read them multiple times & each time I bawled my eyes out. This showed his growth even more. He was willing to give her up to the life she wanted, even if that meant she was no longer with him.

🌹 If you like dark romance please, please, please read this series! You won’t regret it, I 100% recommend!! But please check the trigger/content warnings. This series is extremely dark & not for the faint of heart!

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Reap by Nikki Rae is a dark romance. It's the sixth book from The Order series.

This is not a standalone, you need to read the previous five books otherwise it won't make any sense.

Reap is the conclusion of this series. Here the four main characters have taken down most of the horrible people and were trying to create a new life for them. We see them struggle, fight and heal from everything that happened in the past. Even though it's mostly focused on their romantic relationship, there is still a little action with the enemies. Thankfully (for me) it's not as dark
as the previous books. I have read a few BDSM stories but I do not consider myself an expert. So what surprised me here was that Fawn, even though she was submissive, she appeared to be more brave and smart than the other three. I liked their chemistry and that there was a steady pace in figuring everything out. My favorite part was the last sentence, it seems very powerful to me.

I enjoyed this book and I will rate it with 4 stars.

P.S. This series isn't for the faint hearts.

This whole series was incredible from beginning to end. I loved the entirety of each characters' arc, fails, successes, trials, and growth together.

This book showed each characters' weaknesses and triggers, but ultimately how they overcame it not by trying on their own, but using their family as they needed to. Out of all the characters in this book, I felt for Elliot the most. He has come so far in his journey, suffered heartbreak and defeat, but only wants what best for his family even though he makes tough decisions for them. Watching the relationship between all four of them grow into something special (beyond the 🌶 which was still amazing) felt brutally honest and raw and I loved it all!!

The ending was perfect. And that last *play* scene was 🔥🔥 which really just solidified what I loved about this whole series! I'm not ready to say goodbye 😭

I received an Arc from the author.in exchange for an honest review.

If you like stories with a mix of eyes wide shut,
handmates tale and beauty and the beast,
this series is for you.

The last book in the Order series was exactly what I needed to end this dark ,twisted and emotional story.

We see in this book how the characters try to cope with trauma and focus on their relationships.

But still the danger is not gone.

Read the Trigger Warnings.
Spice level 5🌶️

And the polyamorous relationships and bi characters was just perfect.

I am so sad that I can't read the series for the first time

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Nikki Rae!

Reap is the sixth and final book in The Order series and continues the story of Fawn, Elliot, Marius and Odette.

I don’t really know where to start with my review. I’ve read and finished this book at the beginning of May and I’m still processing what I’ve read. I really love Nikki Rae’s writing style and world building, so it’s no surprise that I read and loved Reap. This book was interesting, a lot happened in this book, and I loved seeing all the changes in the characters. Throughout The Order series, we got to see Fawn, Elliot, Marius and Odette change, we got to see them struggle but also heal from everything that’s happened in the six books.

I remember reading about Fawn in the first book, Bloom, and seeing a confused and complicated character, but now she’s such a strong character. I loved how much she’s changed throughout this series, and I’m happy that she got her happy ending. I also really liked reading about the changes that happened in Elliot, Marius and Odette, like I mentioned above. I couldn’t get enough of the four of them, and I loved their chemistry! I also loved a certain scene between Fawn and Elliot towards the end of the book…

The world Nikki Rae’s created for this book series is kind of disturbing but I really enjoyed reading in this world. The Order series is dark, and deals with some heavy topics such as human trafficking, PTSD, cults, … This Romance is also a Reverse Harem Romance with BDSM and bisexual characters. If you’re a fan of these (sub) genres and topics, then this Dark Romance series is definitely something for you!

The sixth and final book in The Order series. I loved the series, and this book is no exception! The story of Fawn/Doe, Elliot, Marius, Odette and The Order. Can Fawn and House Chimera help destroy the Grimm Order? What does the future hold for Fawn? This dark story is emotional, the characters grow and mature, relationships explored. The ending was fitting.

This whole series has been a rollercoaster with lots of ups and downs, but in book 6 you really see the characters grow closer and feel even more like an unit.

I loved seeing their relationship with each other coming together, so it felt less like individual relationships between two of them, but like one big family.

It was a satisfying conclusion to this series!

𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒆’𝒅 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒓 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒅𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒓 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒇.

Even heading into the last book, the hits never stop coming for these characters and even though I knew deep down there would eventually be a HEA, part of me irrationally feared that it couldn’t possibly happen after all that they’d been through.

This series is not going to be for everyone, but it is undeniably beautifully written and a great story. Nikki managed to rip so many different feelings from me as I read this. While it is not your typical dark romance, it is definitely worth the read.
