Okay Read! (Spoiler)
I enjoyed this storyline but it was kind of short. I felt like a lot was missing from this story. I wanted to know about the father of her boys bc in my opinion that was rape and should have been reported. Then she never talked about her oldest child after she had the last one. What happened to their dad afterwards. The story just left me asking questions. This is only my opinion.

Maybe too short!
I liked the characters
Too much time spent on them as individuals, not enough as them as a couple

I kept reading because I wanted to get to how they met
…When they met the book was almost over..gotcha! More like 3 1/2 stars.

Oh my gawd!! This was that fiya!! 🔥🔥🔥 L. Loren made this girl speechless let me tell you. T-Rex may have been a man whore back in the day. I mean his shenanigans had me shaking my head saying uh uh no you didn't. Yes it was crazy. But it took the love of Druscilla to show Dwight that he was truly a one woman man made just for her. In the end I LOVED this story!! I'm saddened it ended to quickly. L. Loren has done it again with a fantastic book!! If you haven't read this, you need to add it to your TBR list asap. You will not be disappointed. Trust me! 😉

T-Rex by L.Loren was a masterpiece. Dwight aka T-Rex views on love wasn't the best and his he had trust issues. And then came Dru and she has her issues as well. What I loved about this story was that Dru could see through Dwight's facade. I loved the fact they were both well season. L. Loren has outdone herself once again. Some parts made me laugh and this book was a page turner. I definitely recommend this book.

Good Hot Read
T-Rex normally called Dwight is a sexual God & President of his own chapter. He learned while young that some women can't be trusted. Hence his hit it & quit it attitude. But life gets cold & lonely. Meanwhile Drusilla has lived her life for her children but they are grown now & she realizes she hasn't really lived. Bucket List time. These two meet & the sparks fly. T-Rex will have to bring his A game & show that he is more then his sex game. Enjoy.

This is a great sexy story that people my age can really enjoy. Yes there's a lot of the characters backstory but I believe it gives the readers great insight into what Dwight and Drucilla both had to go through before they were able to find their forever with each other!!! I truly enjoyed this story!!!

Loved this story about Drucilla and T-Rex , it's humorous well written , and their chemistry was off the chain. Also the characters are in their fifties which makes this coupling even better, " Grown & Sexy "at its best.

The characters were just at the brink of development and the book ended. Ugh. I wanted more. And well I guess the sex was the happy ending. What was written was good, but I think the editing barely left a feasible plot.

Hellfire can be wonderful
Dru & T-Rex make for an absolute terrific mature love story. They both experienced challenges in their formative years but came through in the end. I really enjoyed seeing them "win" together in the end.

It was a nice quick read. I do think the author spent too much time on them as individuals and not enough time other as a couple.

WTH???
What kinda mess was this? There has to be something missing in the ending. This was just crazy. It really deserved 2 stars. SMDH....so disappointed!!

Cute and quick
This is the first book I've read where both the H and h are over 50. Dru and Dwight's story is so cute and spontaneously combusts. I just wish I had more of them.

Not for me (contains spoilers)
Too much time was spent on T-Rex and Druscilla’s individual lives and not enough on the romance. As a result, the book felt superficial and unfinished.
As for the characters they were not endearing.
Druscilla was a rude, boring and judgmental person. Her letting her baby daddy sleep in her house and not lock her bedroom door was beyond foolish. She had the gall to say to T Rex that he came across as narcissistic while she didn’t even know him. As for the orgasm in his chair, sure him mentioning it was crass, however she’s in her fifties so one would think she would just own it instead of throwing a fit. After all, she came in the shop in the hopes of bagging a man/biker; hypocritical much? Her attitude with her son was just sad, she went down the son-husband route. The lack of boundaries and accountability was astounding.
With T-Rex, unfortunately the character never showed much growth. We didn’t get to know anything personal about him, like for instance why he never wanted children?
The scene at the cinema between T-Rex, Dru and Devante made no sense. Are we supposed to believe that they’ve been dating for a while but the subject of her sons with photos never came up?

I want to marry Dwight ,befriend T-rex
To much time spent on separate begaing development. The characters were just at the brink of development and the book ended. . I wanted more. This was a superb story line. I would have made her 12 years younger and him 6 years younger. I really needed them to have a little gir. T- Rex desereved that. I wa ted more exspresive intentional dirty talk i. The bedroom. More real passion.
Im still confused on how a woman like dru let her ex get away with what he did the second time round.
I wish Dru had made a similar decision i made. * After finding out the real character of their father the chronic lier and manipulator and finding out that not one thing he ever told me was true, I knew no impressionable boys should ever emulated this male in any way, let alone i would date i'd already cut him loose two weeks before finding out....anyway I SHOULD WRITE A BOOK. 🤪😶🌫️😏.

Wanted more of their present life😏😔
I loved that both Druscilla and Dwight were mature characters finding love later in life. I just wished that more of the story was of them together vs their separate lives leading up to them meeting😕.
Since both characters had experienced struggles in their life I was happy when Druscilla was open to dating and giving them a chance😊. Dwight aka T-Rex is a self proclaimed sex god who was instantly attracted to her but was taken aback when she didn’t appear to be interested😛. Druscilla is a strong confident woman and was not easily swayed by a sexy smooth talker. Dwight didn’t take long and did his thing to get her attention and their chemistry was indeed hot😘🥵🔥. There was information missing in the story that made it feel incomplete like the father to Drusillas 2 sons and what happened to the older one as he was never mentioned after the younger one was born😏.
Overall I liked the story but, I almost felt like things were rushed at the end. There is so much more potential for this book to be better if the attention was put more on their present and filling in some of the missing info🙃.

Unfinished
Okay. I love this author and her story about Mouse and Ace was so detailed my mouth was hanging open and I thought about sealing off my basement from the vivid storyline. I had to go back and check twice to make sure this book had ended because it ended so abruptly. We don't know what happened with her oldest child and her second child being the result of a sexual assault was never addressed. Nor was her healing or justice and she was mad that the perpetrator did not show up for the birth, but she has plenty to say when T-Rex speaks about himself in the third person. The entire thing was choppy and pieced together with huge gaps.
It took more than half of the book before they even met and it seems like their first encounter after both their pasts was unprotected. Love the author and will continue to support her but this story I'm sorry to say, was not a great read. Please do not let this deter you from reading her previous works, as they are amazing.

I'm gonna be honest, I couldn't finish the book.
English is not my 1st language so usually I'm not really picky with writing style. But this time ? I lasted 3 chapters before giving up. The writing seems very "juvenile" to me, like the fanfictions I read and wrote when I was 15. No description, very cringe (the tyrannosaurus of sex ? really ? the girl screaming "daddy" during sex ?).. I had to stop.
I was looking forward a romance with older characters compared to what we are used to, and the main woman being a black woman was a big plus for me ! I was expecting more but nope, I was having 2nd hand embarrassment.

Highly disappointed.💔 Story was way too short..most of the story was spent on the history of them individually and since that did not add to the couples story, I was like WTH...didn't need that much story from their back in the day. By the time they got together that was the end of it. Now, I just want a LaRue followup since she was mentioned in the story. Now I love L. LOREN but this was not her best...so hopefully there is a followup, a part 2 or something to this. This chould have been a Lunchtime Chronicle IMO.

Taming the T-Rex
I must admit, T-Rex was getting on my nerves, but Dwight, I loved him. When T-Rex finally decided that it was time to settle down, he thought that Dru would succumb to his old T-Rex charms. Nope, Dru was not having it. T-Rex had to bring his A game, which was Dwight. Once he did that, he had Dru all in her feelings for him.
I love Dwight and Dru love storyline. The only regret I have is that I wanted Dru's ex to get a proper beat down from T-Rex or Dru, either one I would have been happy with 🤭😄

Long on backstory short on romance
I love this author and enjoyed this book but didn’t love it. I felt like there was a lot of background information but not enough interaction between the hero and heroine. They didn’t have even meet until more than 50% through the story. That said when they got together there was no back and forth and miscommunication and I did appreciate that. All in all, this was a good book but not my favorite by this author.

T-Rex
Not one of my favorite. Once Devante was borne we didn't hear what happened to MJ, did he go to college, did his dad maintain the relationship since he didn't really pay any attention to his second child. Thanks for the inclusion of other characters. Looking forward to other books

A little disappointed. This book was too short. It felt rushed and the characters weren't fully vetted.
The big jumps in time didn't help at all. Especially with things like what happened with MJ, and how did he deal with Davante. How did her parents react the second time? And did they not have the day after pill?
So many unanswered questions.

Torn!
I like the characters, enjoyed the story but it feels unfinished. Like what! I am scratching my head trying to figure out what I missed. L. Loren is so much better than this as an author especially on a series we have waited patiently for the next book to come out. T Rex and Drucilla have so much more they could have given us.

this was not a love story
The couple didn’t meet until 70% of the book was over. There was no chemistry. The oldest people in the book talk and act like middle school kids. This was terrible.

Not what I expected.
This book was disappointing and not what was expected from the synopsis. I was so blown away that the couple did not even meet until 78% into the book. This could have been so much more than what was given and I was looking forward to T-Rex.
