Just WOW!
What can I say? Helen Hardt has outdone herself with this installment in the Gems of Wolfe Island series...
Buck, is more than ever needing to protect Aspen, but Aspen, needing answers, will do what she needs to do, to get these answers. And Buck, because of his love for Aspen, will do what he can to help her, in what ever way he can to get those answers.
Aspen, wanting to protect Buck, after he gets hurt, trying to help her. So she plans to go get the answers on her own. However, Buck, Luke and Katelyn will not let Aspen, be alone in any fashion.
OMG y'all, you are not gonna believe all the bumps, twists and turns you have to maneuver while reading this book. But trust me, you are gonna want to strap yourself in and forge on.
Buck: Gems of Wolfe Island book 4 is highly recommended, but I must stress, that you have to read it as a series, not a standalone. Start with Moonstone: Gems of Wolfe Island book 1 and continue through to Buck. You will not be disappointed.
This is most definitely a 5 star review...

Helen has hit gold once more with her Gems of Wolfe Island series. Buck is book 4 and I am absolutely addicted.
Aspen Davis is a woman on a mission. Her determination to find out the truth on how she got taken and who was behind it all is stronger than ever. She's desperate to find the answers she seeks and is also willing to do what ever she has to to keep the man she loves, the man that awoken her desire for human contact and intimacy again, safe and out of danger.
Buck is very much a man who you can't keep down. He is one tough S.O.B and will stop at nothing to keep Aspen safe. Only problem is she's determined to see her mission through herself but he'll be damned if she does it alone no matter what she's thinking.
Buck takes us on the journey to find Aspen's true captor. The person or people really responsible for her abduction. We see so many trials and tribulations our characters go through. We see the love each of them have and the strength they give each other. There is more twists, and shocking discoveries that hit us. We go into book 4 with certain ideas of who it could be. However in true Helen Hardt form she leads us on an incredible roller coaster ride of shocking discoveries and heart pounding realizations.
She also leads us right into the cliffhanger of another Woman of the islands story. Which I will be counting down the days for that to hit shelves!
Buck is a brilliant stars and a must read and have!

Another amazing book by Helen.
I hope you are ready to buckle your seatbelts to enjoy the ride of your lifetime.
You will be dragged through the darkest of times into the light.
Buck will do anything he can to help Aspen even though she doesn’t always make it easy for him while he is still battling his own issues.
Aspen is bound and determined to find the answers she is looking for and will not stop until she does.
I thought I had it figured out but boy was I wrong.
Expected the unexpected while you watch a coal turn into a diamond.
Another amazing book by Helen.

Buck
Buck - hot alpha male, ex Navy SEAL, works for a powerful company, great in bed - yep Buck checks all those boxes!! He sees his other half in Aspen and will do anything to help her - including ending up in the hospital, which is where we find him as this book starts.
From there, the story only gets more intense. More horrific! Aspen and Buck both have flashbacks from the abuse Aspen received on the island and for Buck, the torture he received at the hands of insurgents. While I admire the author for bringing attention to the plight of people who have been forced to endure torture, it hurts me to the depths of my soul so much that I feel the need to go find babies, kittens or puppies to hug and love on just to try to erase the negative from my mind.
That being said, I’ve never read a more compelling storyline than the one that is playing out in the Gems of Wolfe Island Series!

Helen Hardt is a master of words. I couldn't put this book down. The characters came to life in my head. It was like watching a movie in my mind. I could feel every emotion. Good and bad. Can't wait for the next book.

Buck and Aspen pair up so perfectly. What the two of them went through in their life is so similar, but horrible. He was a military man, and she played volleyball. He was tortured, and she was tortured after being kidnapped and taken to the island for five years. She is determined to get to the bottom of her kidnapping, of which Buck saved her. The details of it all are revealed piece by piece. Buck and Aspen are amazing and strong people. The love they feel for each other is beyond measure. The two of them pair up to solve the mystery with each other and two other characters as well. There’s action, danger, and anticipation, as well as being steamy. It’s a fascinating story, and written so well. I just love all of Helen Hardt’s books, and I’m sure you will, too.

I really enjoy seeing the "Gems" get their justice. I never expected a spin-off/continuation of Wolfes of Manhattan but Helen Hardt wove the stories so well I should have saw it coming! And now we'll have a "spin-off" of the Gems. Yay!! Helen Hardt sure knows how to write a saga!!!😍

I love Helen Hardt's books and with "BUCK" she hasn't let us down. You think you have the story figured out and she throws a curve at you. One more of her books that I have enjoyed reading. Thank you for the enjoyment of reading and keeping me on my toes and you can't forget the romance that she puts into her stories.

Letting go is hard, holding on is harder...
Aspen can't seem to let go of her yearning to find the whole truth to questions she may never find the answers to. Buck is right by her side and he will do anything for her, even when he knows it's dangerous. She is holding onto her past which is stopping her from her future, her future with Buck.
She is clinging to the emotional and physical pain she experienced and is holding on tight. She needs to gather her strength and try to let go, and just be. This story is compelling and stirring and will move you emotionally. Aspen and Buck's journey will be filled with obstacles, but I am hoping it will all be worth it at the end of it.

Well now that Katelyn and Luke, Buck and Aspen are married I wonder what will happen in the next instalment of this fantastic series. I cannot wait for the next book!!!

Wow Helen has such depth, danger, horror, love and so much more in her stories. So many twists and turns. These girls were so abused on the island. . Aspen more violently than mire due to her athleticism.when Buck finds her after she took off to Colorado,their journey gets rough trying to figure out what happened to her. How could Her VB team members be responsible to her ending on the island?

Well once again wow was drawn straight in .Omg some twists and turns for Aspen Davis as she searches for some answers and Buck Moreno is right there with her helping with the search .And thankfully Aspen has Luke and Katelyn right there with her being the friends she needs and helping each other along the way .Helen Hardt Thankyou for another great book

As with Raven and Garnet I finished this book in less than 24 hours. I can't say enough about how much I love Mrs. Hardt's books!!! I really can't sing her praises enough!! She always has the reader especially me addicted to her stories way way before you are finished with the first chapter. I'm ALWAYS ON PINS AND NEEDLES AND BECOME VERY IMPATIENT WAITING TO BE ABLE TO READ her next book!!!!

Damages
These two both went thru unbelievable torment. Its a good thing they found it each other and come together as one. The twists and turns in this story were filled with action and mystery. Its a truly entrenched story of human suffering and a fight to find the way back to love and wholesome identity. Its well written and intense. This is an awesome series!!!

Wonderful
Loved the story and have enjoyed the entire series. Each is just different enough to constantly keep you guessing! I have yet to figure out all the twists and turns in a Helen Hardt novel! That’s what keeps me coming back.

I have really enjoyed this series. Helen Hardt is such an amazing author. This is Aspen and Buck’s story..part two. It is emotional, suspenseful, and so much more. Aspen gets answers but wants all the answers. Buck just wants them to be happy together. Read the book to see how it all plays out.
