I was in the mood for a "Ron Weasley Bashing" fanfic and that one did the job! This carefree and light version of Draco that does not mind people seeing him tease and laugh and have fun with Hermione was ADORABLE. 😍



After a misunderstanding that led Ron to cheat on Hermione and get another girl pregnant, Hermione leaves him and decides on a whim to go out, get drunk, and don't give a crap about the consequences. Turns out that there are indeed consequences when she sleeps with a well-known muggle and explicit pictures are leaked to the press. Hermione decides to leave, to get some distance, and she's now back, two years later, to teach transfiguration at Hogwarts.

“Do your students think you’re a Death Eater?” she asked bluntly.
He didn’t miss a beat.
“Do yours think you’re a whore?”
“Yep.” Hermione pulled the bottle of wine out from where she was hiding it in her robes and slammed it down in front of him, giving him a smile that held no amusement. “Let’s get fucked up.”

This fiction is a fluffy and cute one, Hermione works with Neville who teaches herbology, and Draco who teaches charms, and they were just so cute together! This Draco was much more relaxed and he even smiles and laugh in front of others. Seeing him becoming friends with Hermione, and seeing them both tease each other, have fun, and just be happy was really wholesome. This easygoing version of Draco was different but very refreshing.

Each of them discarded by society for their mistakes, or else simply for who they associated themselves with. No longer facing judgment from one another as they once might’ve, seeing as none of them stood higher than the others.
A villain by mistake, a villain by blood, a supporter of the Dark by marriage, the son of a murderess, and a traitor with open legs.

There is also this hint of a "found family" vibe as Hermione meets Draco's ex-Slytherin friends, and gets accepted into their group. Overall, I really enjoyed this sweet and fast-paced fiction. It's not the best or the most memorable I've read, but I read it all in one day and it made me smile so I'm happy. 🙂

One of my new dramonie favorites. This was so light weight but deep at the same time. The friendships and relationships were top tier. Ron and Molly bashing is my fav fan fic trope and it was executed amazingly. The angst was perfect. Mostly fluff with a bit of smut. I loved all the articles and Draco standing up for Hermionie. “Slugs really?” “ I was feeling nostalgic” when I tell you I died laughing. It was amazing. This is the first 5 star I’ve given in months and it is well earned.

I liked the premise of this fic and the beginning but I found both Draco and Hermione to be OOC-even though I give fanfics obvious creative liberties but…this was too much (cringed at the “good boy” parts 🤮). Even though this is a quick read, it was drawn out and I found myself getting bored. Everything wraps up too neatly. Zero angst- which I’m not exactly against, I love a fic with no third act break up- but there was zero tension and I’m not entirely convinced Hermione even liked Draco. Sure she said it, but I’m not entirely convinced she liked him beyond friends. One star.

Really different than other dramione fics I read - loved the story except for Molly's reactions I agree with other reviews, it seems out of character for her.

3.5 stars! Not too long and enjoyable! It was written well. But I didn't care much for Draco's character. He was just not portrayed well. Hermione could have been a little swottier too, but her character was better than Draco's.
