"She's an adorable, bookish, wild child."

Vance is the first book in the Home Wreckers Construction series but we have met some characters from previous books in other series. In this story Rumer Olsen is an esthetician who has moved to a new apartment a month ago. But during that month this nerdy, quiet and sweet young woman has developed an overheated libido and ache between her legs thanks to her big, tattooed and smexy neighbor. She may not have ever talked to him but she can spy on him from her peephole when he comes up the stairs to his apartment. It will take one wrongly delivered package to bring them together. Vance works for Home Wreckers Construction and has always had an easy and good time with the ladies. But lately he wants something more as the quick and easy has left him feeling like he is missing something. So when he finally meets his curvy, feisty and very adorable wild child of a neighbor he knows he wants to get to know her better. Then when her package of fun is delivered to him by mistake things are about to get really satisfying for both of them as he offers his "experience" for twenty-four hours of no strings enjoyment. But what happens when they start to spend time together before the twenty-four hours even starts?

I really loved this wildly fun and very smexy hot story. I enjoyed how the author intelligently tied in the series with other characters from previous books to deliver a world of characters that we are already familiar with, if you have read some of her other books. I think Home Wreckers Construction is going to wreck my heart and make me laugh a lot.

Piper Cook has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Rumer and Vance. Rumer has ordered herself some toys and is waiting for them to come in. She gets a notice that they are being delivered and she goes down to check her mailbox. There is nothing there. When she turns to return to her apartment, she runs into her neighbor, Vance. They talk for a few minutes and then she goes up to her apartment. Vance gets a package that he thinks his mother sent to him. When he opens it, he finds out it is not his but Rumer's. He takes the package to her. When she finds out that he knows what is in the package, she is embarrassed and says a few things to him. He makes a deal with her, and it is to give him 24 hours and she wouldn't need what is in the package. Vance tells her what he is going to do to her when they get together. She tells him that it is only for that one time. They set things up for that Friday night. On the night of their date, Vance comes to her door and tells her that something has come up. She thinks that he is going to cancel and tells him it is fine, she was a little tired. He tells her what came up and asked her to go with him. She is not sure about going but she tells him she would go with him.
Will Rumer and Vance get together for good?
This was a fast read and I would recommend it to anyone.

Vance and Rumer's Deal . . .

Rumer is lonely and disappointed that she can’t find love. She is ready to take a risk now, for just one night of what she needs. Vance lives across the hall from her, and he is the one who can fulfill her deepest desires. And if her heart is broken afterward, she doesn’t mind. She just wants him for one night and she will be happy.

Vance enjoys the crazy woman who entertains him with her clumsy, innocent ways. When a package is misdelivered, he takes great joy in knocking on her door to return it to her in person. She is mortified and dives at him to snag it out of his hands, but instead she knocks the package to the floor and almost takes a nosedive after it until he catches her. Totally embarrassed, she announces in a loud voice that she is sex-starved and needs 24 hours with a volunteer to make everything right in her world. Instead of taking it as a joke, he offers his services to show her how to use her new toy and then show her why she won’t ever need it when he is with her. She accepts his offer. Can Vance deliver what he says he can? Will she let him renegotiate that 24 hours to instead share a lifetime together?

Rumer can't believe what she just did. She bought a sexual toy. Anxious for it to arrive, she tracked the package. What she think would ever happen is someone else get her package. Her insanely hot neighbor Vance.
Vance brings over Rumer's package. Not knowing it was not for him so when he opened it he saw the description on the paper insert. Taking it over to his sexy neighbor, Rumer. After knocking she answers and is shocked to find out he opened the package.
Vance tells her that he will rock her world in 24 hours. Give him the chance to show her. She does that but it was interrupted by an impromptu gathering with his co-workers. He invites her and she decides at that moment she wants more. He hasn't even rocked her world but she wants more forever.
Once home its the start of a lifetime of rocking her world.

This is a fun, flirty, sexy little story. Rumer is at the end of her rope. She needs something a little fun, sexy, and something she has never done. Rumer is a cutie, sassy, feisty, soft and curvy in all the right places. Vance is Rumer’s next door neighbor and he has looked more than once at Rumer. Vance is returning a package to Rumer that was left in his mailbox. Vance and Rumer start chatting, a little back and forth and then Vance makes her a promise - “Give me 24hrs.”Vance and Rumer are down-to-earth, likable/lovable characters. This story was so much fun to read! It was sweet, steamy, heart thumping, passionate and romantic. It had all the right components for an entertaining, enjoyable, feel good story you will love!.

Vance is Book 3 in the Home Wreckers Construction series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, curvy girl gets her blue-collar hunk romance. Rumer is a shy, sweet, and curvy girl. Vince is her sexy, hunky, playboy neighbor. He is tired of meaningless hookups and looking for more. He thinks Rumer might be the one. She's been crushing on him since she moved in a month ago. When he accidently gets her battery-operated boyfriend in the mail, she is mortified. She ends up talking about her "needs," and he offers her 24 hours of pure pleasure, and she agrees. But he wants a lifetime with her. Can he prove it in a week? This was such a sweet and steamy story. These two had such hot chemistry and were perfect for each other. We also got a great HEA, and the bonus epilogue was pure fire!

I LOVED this book! I loved Vance, he's like a giant muscle filled cinnamon roll. What's better than a man who has a soft side, appreciates beauty, and loves to cuddle?! And he works with his hands, and is truthful. What an amazing book boyfriend ;). Rumer is our homebody, who meets Vance by "chance" that also makes her feel super embarrassed.

They agree to a 24 hour of schmexy fun, but Vance wants more, and Rumer doesn't think he'd want more. A bit of a snafu happens but we get to see how Vance Is willing to put himself out there and Rumer responds beautifully!

I wouldn't mind a longer book about these two! Can't wait to see the other characters books! This book is perfect if you're looking for a short book inbetween series or if you have a book "hangover". This is perfect!

This is book number 1 of the Home Wreckers Construction series and focuses on Vance and Rumer. We truly met Vance in Wade, his former roommate’s, story. He has a reputation as being a lady’s man but lately he has been feeling unsatisfied with having casual hookups. Vance is very drawn to Rumer and after an incredibly embarrassing incident for her, he strikes a deal with her. He may have made a deal for 24 hours, but he knows that one night would never be enough time for him. I love that they take some time to get to truly know each other before jumping into a physical relationship. I loved Vance and Rumer together. This was a great start to this series!

Hammer Away.
Amazing story. Rumer is waiting on a personal package to arrive and is watching for it. She gets a notification that its been delivered but, it’s not in her box. Oh, boy! Vance knows his neighbor watches him through the peephole. When he gets a box meant for her he makes sure she gets it. Rumer is very embarrassed to see that he opened up the box so he knows exactly what is inside. Vance asks her for 24 hours to prove she doesn’t need what’s in the package. They spend the week getting to know each other. Separately they begin to wonder if 24 hours will ever be enough for them. Welcome to the cookout where you’ll hear anything and everything.

Love the Peeping Neighbor! This is about Vance and his peeping neighbor Rumer. She spies on him every day but will never come out to talk to him. Until she goes off and orders something private that is supposed to be in a discreet box and shipped to her apartment 4B, but the package somehow gets a little damage on the address label and it is given to apartment 4E which belongs to Vance! It is hilarious when he gets the package and then tries to bring it back to her. Of course, he proposes something to her and she accepts but the week goes by and they get to learn about each other better! Now who is next!!!.

I absolutely loved this book!!! Rumer and Vance just seem to work well together. They are both just living their lives but desperately missing something - or rather someone. Rumer is a curvy gal who hides behind her front door ogling her neighbor, Vance.
Their meet cute bordered on disastrous but mainly hilarious! I don’t want to give away too much but this book is a definite MUST READ! There were several LOL moments. Piper cook knows how to write them! This book was funny and sweet with just the right amount of steam!.

Vance is Rumor's next-door neighbor and one day a package for her gets delivered to him by mistake. When he takes it back to her she gets all nervous and almost falls with the box. When he catches her and she blurts out what she really needs. Vance is all too happy to help especially with the toys she has in the box. Will they end up wanting more than their agreed time period to be together?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. This is a book for any book lover to enjoy.

Vance is a construction worker. He knows his new neighbor watching him thru the peephole. He hasn’t meet her. But one day he gets a package. He opens it and sees that it belongs to Rumer in the next apartment. It is her new toy and he is all to willing to help her use it.

This book was really fun to read. The interactions between Vance and Rumer are as amusing as they are steamy. I loved these two together and their story was fantastic. These two neighbors finally meet when he gets her mail by mistake. Their meeting was hilarious and set the stage for the chemistry between this terrific couple. This short romance will give you all the feels in a quick read that will make you smile.

Rumer is the nerdy girl across the hall from the hot guy. She’s been crushing in Vance since she moved in. Now after a mis-delivered package Vance and Rumer have struck up a deal. This was a fast paced read. Rumer is the quiet good girl who is finally opening up and asking for what she wants. Vance is the brawny guy who has a secret talent for art. Vance is a great third installment in this series. We saw glimpses of him in the previous books, so it is fascinating to get to know him more intimately. His secret talent, coupled with his desire to change his playboy ways, makes him much more endearing. His neighbor Rumer is absolutely adorable with her clutzy manner, shy persona, and what seems to me an uncontrollable mouth. I find her crush on Vance to be so fascinating considering she had his playboy ways pegged. Watching these two grow closer is steamy hot and so much fun!

I enjoyed this story about Vance and Rumer. The characters were cute and made the story enjoyable. Vances a demolition man who looks hot to Rumer. She peeks at him from her door when he comes home from work and she finally meets him in person when she bumped into him when coming back from the postbox which leads to them doing the sexy tango.

Rumer keeps to herself. Vance works hard and plays hard. When Rumer's package ending up in Vance's mailbox, Vance could not help but make her an offer when he returned it to her.

Rumer and Vance's story is amazing story that pulls you in and will have you melting.

This is a first-time author for me and i really enjoyed this cute quick read. Vance wanted more than a quick fling once he got to know Rumer. She thought she could get over her embarrassment with blossom by accepting the deal she made with him. Both realize pretty quickly that they both want and need more.

Our MMC is a ladies man paired with an adorable woman who is a bit clumsy. There was a bit of an awkwardness at their first meeting but it was actually funny as it turned out. The story is cute with a little bit of steam and it is definitely a hea for our couples who haven't forgotten Blossom.

Get yourself a fan when reading this book. This is a true love story with plenty of heat and laughs. I loved the sassiness of Rumer’s character and how she compliments Vance’s external gruff character when underneath he is a big teddy bear. They both deserve love and Piper has written their story so well. I didn’t want it to end! A fab read.

I love a quick read as much as anyone but this was too fast. I really liked these characters and the way they got together was terrific and amusing. They had chemistry but it needed a few more chapters.
