This is book two in the Nashville's Rebel Blood Rock Stars. The book stars Rain, who has been leaking information about Mickey and the band. Now, she is being forced to stay with Mickey while he is being forced to try sobriety. He has such a bad reputation from the media. Rain is a rather sad character. She seems to have low self esteem and is in a relationship with a man who does not respect her or is even moderately faithful. She compares herself to the people around her and listens to the negative things people say about her. Mickey has more sense about her worth than she does and summarily breaks up with the boyfriend for her. He DOES have an ulterior motive; Mickey, always impaired, would like to experience relations when he is present. What better partner can he find than the lovely and available Rain? But will they be able to have a HEA when there is danger and deception afoot? I liked both Rain and Mickey; Ms. Jasper always has such over the top characters and funny situations. You have to suspend belief but you will have a good time reading!

Teasing The Tyrant: Interracial Rock Star Romance is book two in Nashville's Rebel Blood Rock Stars series. It sort of picks up where the book that gave us Angie and Seb's story left off. I did not expect Mickey and Rain to be the center of this story. That fact alone made it enjoyable. Both are so way beyond jacked up that there is no way this they should have made sense for this story. However, they did. With high drama, did I mention the drama, and some action and suspense, the storyline kept you reading to the end of the book. That being said, these two should never have, period, but I understand why they did, and you know what, it really works, and you are happy for them. You have to read it and make your own decisions on that. All the stuff is worth a read and a WTF and many WOWs.

It looks like Earl Jr gets his story next. Once again it looks like a totally messed up situation so the drama will be intense. I can hardly wait!

Wow...

Somewhere out there, these people exist. I enjoyed the story and was pleased with a smidge of the cross over. Meg got on my nerves. Poor Pippen. I am going forward with the story and I hope Brent gets his. I was happy for Seb and Angie. Earl Wayne Jr became real during this story. I hope to find out more about Mickey and Rain in the next story.

MICKEY AND RAIN

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

Mickey Ford is a member of Rebel Blood, a southern rock group. Rain is the bane to Mickey’s existence, although Mickey doesn’t know she is the one who is defaming him on the gossip blog Celebz Leaked. All Rain worries about is making money. She has no self-esteem. She and Mickey have one thing in common, they are both screwups. This story captured my attention with the fact that Rain’s immediate family doesn’t respect or support her. I’m not sure where Mickey’s family holds him as he left them and their religious beliefs. I like the way Mickey and Rain complement each other and negates their troublesome aspects.

Buckle Up for the Show!

This novel is full of suspense, humor, and STEAM! I couldn't put it down! I enjoyed all of the twists and turns. Ms Jasper continues to create over-the-top characters that take us away to a world beyond belief. I enjoyed the opportunity to escape and watch as Rain and Mickey’s Love Story unfolded. Great storytelling! I’m continuing to look forward to more novels in this strange, strange, series!

4.5 Stars of Sexy Suspense and Adventure

Teasing The Tyrant is DEFINITELY worth every bit of these 4.5 Stars. The suspense of the entire book, no the series is what’s keeping you glued to the characters.
The adventure and the chemistry between Mickey and Rain is one for the books. And this DEFINITELY that book.

Come on Earl and LaShawna. I’m looking forward to seeing more.

I must admit Rain worked my last nerve and especially with her dealings with that butthole Keith. But as time went on, she sort of grew on me. I liked her and Mickey together. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next when she gives birth and how both the families (hers and Mickey's) view their relationship. I can see Earl and La Shawn are getting a story. All I can say is I can't wait. I voluntarily read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

I enjoyed Mickey but Rain was too damn stupid and negative for me. I am glad that they found love with each other and have positive relationships with those close to them that offer support in time of need. Like the previous book, there was plenty of drama and sex which is a plus plus for me. I enjoy how Ms. Jasper brings characters in compromising situations together. I am looking forward to Earl jr. story.

I loved the book, but felt it could’ve ended differently. I wanna to see more about the dinner with their parents. I do love how Mickey was willing to do anything to prove how much he loves Rain,m. Just expected a different endong

The acts of Celebz Leaked take a deadly once Charlotte is discovered...The tyrant blackmails Rain for more information on Rebel Blood.
Secrets are many, and peeling away the layers can bring ruin and heartbreak....waiting to see how things are resolved during the series.

Crazy Mickey Ford has his work cut out trying to keep Rain Wilson in line. These two are both broken people looking for a reason not to be a failure in other people eyes. As they get to know each other they find a reason to be a better person from each other. This story has a lot of twist and turns!

Love for Dummies

First, the entire book needs a read through by an editor or beta readers. The typos were killing me.

Second, the characters were both so dumb, but in a hilarious kinda way. They never took themselves too seriously and I think it works for this novel.

Finally, Jasper gives great plot. I’m definitely looking forward to the next one.

Main Female Character tooooo much!

I really tried to like Rain, but she was just too dramatic and ridiculous to believe and so was Mickey. Rain was sooo foolish she would rather stay with a chitter and abuser than to tell her lawyer cousin the truth?! No thanks. Mickey the drug user and abuser has guns and Doberman and doesn’t use them against his attackers?!

An interesting read, lots of characters finding their way through the entertainment industry. Stalkers, blackmail and lots of secrets going on. Who will survive and how?

Tried really hard to like the storyline, but I just couldn't get into the book. I didn't really enjoy the characters and that's important to me.

Captivated Until The End…

A lot of bad things happened to the main characters in both books, but they survived and were hilarious! What a crazy story! I wonder what will happen next!

Interesting

This book was a little better than the last book. Not saying the last book wasn’t that good, but this book had a little more craziness. Now on to the next to figure out this cliffhanger.

Another Unique Storyline

In this three book storyline with these six main young characters is absolutely unpredictable and in a non-stop longing, loving and action pack way. I am on to the third book in this series and looking forward to how it spins out. Happy reading!

I think it was just okay. The characters seemed to be all over the place. If your not into age gap stories I would not recommend. I just hope the next story in the series is better.

Jamila is one of my favorite authors with that being said it took a minute to get into this book. I couldn't follow the story and I didn't really care too much for the characters.

Great book

Enjoyed the 3 Rebel Blood Rock Stars. Each had it's own drama yet the tie-ins are there. Definitely look to read more by Jamila Jasper.

To be frank, this was a solid read. I did have problems with a couple of the situations and fetishisation that were used heavily in the book. But overall it was okay!
