Falling For Nash

Rate this book
Emery is trapped. Nash wants to save her. It would help if they got along.
The youngest Dawson brother is funny on the outside and tender on the inside. He has a drive to succeed and a passion for the rodeo. The family thinks he's outgrown them, but really, he has dreams of his own, and they’re all about the Dawson Ranch. But first he has to either move on from Emery Banks or convince her to be the woman in his life.

A talented new barrel racer steps into the rodeo scene and takes the world by storm. And immediately gets under Nash’s skin. She’s too good, too opinionated. And too dang beautiful for him to simply ignore. And she’s being pursued by the man who controls everything that side of town—the so called rodeo boss himself and one of Nash’s biggest sponsors.

She’s hard to win for any man, but she seems to appreciate the attention from the sponsor. Nothing is easy in this last-ditch effort to impress her before he retires from the rodeo scene altogether and returns home to the Dawson Ranch.

Read this not quite enemies to lovers romance, the last of the Dawson family ranch romances, and get hooked on a few more characters while you're at it.

I loved everything about this book! The author did a great job with the characters, the plot and everything. I love the Dawson family so much. I did not want to put this one down!

This book is mainly about Nash and Emery. I loved that there were parts that feature Nash’s Mama. She is just the kind of woman that I wish I knew. Mama is down to earth, salt of the earth, Christian, and such a strong woman. I love her! And it was fun to see her get some happiness.

Nash is the brother that I’ve wanted to get to read about since Coming Home to Maverick, the beginning of this series. His niece, Grace, loves him so much that she named her pig after him. I loved the way he was concerned for Emery. Those two are just so great together. They fight a ton. And it’s really kind of funny.

Emery is another strong woman. She’s a barrel racer who had to raise her sister by herself. I loved getting to know where she came from. And seeing where she ended up. And I really loved getting to see her journey as she reads the Bible. Seeing how she noticed the hand of God in her life was really special.

I loved this book so much! You need to read it!

We finally get the youngest Dawson brother's story--Nash, the bull rider! We haven't learned much about Nash in the previous books except that his niece, Grace, named her pig after him because she loves him so much! Nash and Emery are frenemies--they've been on the same rodeo circuit for awhile and are supportive of each other in their respective events, but seem to rub each other the wrong way every time they get together. Could this be because of an underlying attraction on both sides?

Just as Nash is about to reach his goal he suffers and injury and can't participate in the rodeos for quite awhile. Meanwhile Emery is about to reach a much longed for goal thanks to receiving a big sponsorship, but that sponsorship may come with some demands she's not willing to meet.

Nash had some wonderful post-rodeo plans, but as his brothers learned, there's nothing wrong with asking your family for help and he would've had a lot less worries if he'd let his family in on his plans from the beginning. Emery hadn't had an easy life and having to raise her younger sister helped make her a strong young woman. I was happy that things worked out with her sponsorship so that she and her sister could finally get the home of their own that they've been wanting for so long. I really liked seeing her actively use her faith in God in her daily life. I loved seeing more of Mama Dawson and that she's found some extra happiness in her life again. I loved catching up with all the other Dawson brothers and their families.

This was a wonderful ending to a sweet series with not one but two happily ever after endings. I received a complimentary copy to review. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Romance, Christian, contemporary, sweet; series but stand alone read
Nash and Emery's story was a sweet, fun, romantic fall. Western Rodeo setting, Nash is the last of his brother's to find his partner. Nash and Emery know each other from rodeo events, and currently trailers are parked next to each other. Loved their back and forth banter, and the sweet moments after they finally gave in to their mutual attraction.
Strong sense of family, some nice supporting characters, and of course, some small cameo's by Nash's brothers who were featured in other novels in this series. More of a 3.5 for me as a reader, just wanted more (which is a good thing!), but a perfect quick read for anyone who enjoys a bit of faith, a bit of rodeo, and two fun characters who fall for each other. Love two honest, hurting hearts that come together to help each other find happiness and heart-home. It was fun to see Nash get his HEA.
I received an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review my opinions are my own.

Falling for Nash is the fourth book in this series and stars Nash Dawson and Emery Banks. These 2 people follow the rodeo circuit; Nash is a bull rider and Emery is a barrel racer. Though they have known each other for years, Nash and Emery don't get along. However, one civil conversation late one night has them rethinking their relationship. As they spend more time together, their feelings begin to deepen. As Nash and Emery steer in uncharted territory, they just might find their happily-ever-after.
This is an inspirational, contemporary cowboy romance with a strong Christian background. I loved it!

A wonderful story with great characters
The characters in this story weave around your heart until you are totally involved in their struggles, worries and successes. Nash Dawson is the youngest in his family and is driven to make it on his own without the family’s help. He has dreams but they require money. To raise the money and prove himself, Nash rides in the rodeo but that is not without high risk and injuries can end a career. He is just a few wins short of reaching his goal when he is bucked off and receives a concussion sidelining him for weeks, if not longer. Emery is a barrel racer and Nash has known her for years but doesn’t really understand her past. Emery is also driven to make it on her own, not just for herself but her younger sister as well. Her drive is intense to get a real home and settle down but she needs a few more wins to have the money she needs. When Emery is offered a sponsorship that would help her it seems like a dream come true but that dream may have some unwanted strings. This book is so very well done and the characters are true and engaging. Although it is the last in the series it easily can be as a standalone, although I can highly recommend the whole series. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

I have never been to a rodeo but this book makes me want to see the pageantry and hold my breath as the bull riders try to hang on. I loved the way the author developed the characters of Nash and Emery. Their frenemies to more story was so fun and romantic. And I love the Dawson family. This was my first time reading this series and it made me want to start it from the beginning so I just ordered Maverick's story. Slight deduction for typos, etc. Rating 4.5 I received an ARC from the author and this voluntary review contains my honest opinions.

A sweet cowboy romance that will keep you smiling for days. Nash is the youngest Dawson brother, with a heart of gold. He has admired Emery from the day they met, but they rile each other up every time they cross paths. Will they find a common ground that will pull them together? Read this charming tale of a cowboy and a cowgirl, you will be happy you did! Wonderful writing, endearing characters and a HEA that will melt you heart. Plus a bonus romance for Mama Dawson!

Sophia Summers gives us great examples in this book that everything and everyone are not necessarily as they appear. Being the youngest in an over-achiever family is tough and Nash has to find his place and realize that perhaps he has misunderstood his place in the family. I really enjoyed this story.

Nash and ‘Em

Very enjoyable story about Nash Dawson and Emery. I loved getting to know them. I liked following along as their relationship developed and grew. I liked reading about their backgrounds and their families. It was fun to dislike the protagonists. And I was enchanted by the culmination of their love and the beginning of the rest of their lives.

I love the Dawson Family and Nash's story. Nash has a desire/need to feel like he is contributing to his family's legacy. He is a hard worker and has great ideas about expanding the brand. He is also a very stubborn bull rider. He has been in a love, hate relationship with Emery Banks for a few years. Emery Banks is an amazing barrel rider who also feels a strong desire and need to provide the best for her sister, Lacey and herself. Their relationship is full of great chemistry. I really loved the little bit of romance ahead for Mama Dawson.

This book was fairly good. It has some fun banter and some sweet kisses. On several occasions I was distracted from the story by poor sentence structuring, dialogue that fell flat or felt out of character, and some plot inconsistencies. There was a complete turn around in the characters adamant desires from the first part of the book. I like Nash and I like Emery but I didn’t love the book about them.
