My stepdad's so hard on me...
I thought he was angry, resentful. I thought he was pissed because he didn't want me interning in his department. I couldn't seem to do anything right. SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)
Grace is working as her stepdad's intern. Although it's not anything like she expected. She isn't working in the accounting department (like she wanted) and all she does is secretarial stuff for him. Plus he seems almost angry she's there.
When she confronts him about it, the whole story behind his attitude comes out. Which leads them to an encounter neither of them can ever turn back from.

REVIEW:
I like the setup for this one with her stepdad also being her boss. It's a fun twist.
However, their encounter felt kind of rushed and out of nowhere. I've read a lot of these from this series and usually you can feel the chemistry between them leading up to them giving in. In this one they are just having a normal-ish conversation and then they are having sex. It just didn't flow well in my opinion.
Still, it was steamy, especially with the taboo setting being at the office. It's a little different because we don't get any interactions with the mom in this one (usually there is in this series).
Overall I liked it okay. But it felt a little rushed and there wasn't the greatest sexual tension between them.

Lessons ~ A very enjoyable read. A short story, that’s not short on content. I liked that she had a thing for him before she interned for him. I liked that she called him out on his harshness towards her at work. I enjoyed his honesty. That honesty opened the door for more ‘learning’. Get the Bonus Scene!

I wish these books were longer!
AND with no cheating. I love the age-gap, forbidden stepfather storyline! And the sex is great. I also wish there was a love\ relationship part too. But it is what it is. A fun, sexy, fast read!

3.5, atleast for sexyness lol it's a bit short and just glosses over but it's spicy enough to make a person tingle a bit ;)
