Alexa riley always my safe place to go when I need more romance and it always amaze me and never failed me. Never ever failed me.... It's not a long story but it was enough for me to feel more romance 💙💙💙💙
And what i like most about this story is that the heroine is a gamer just like myself 😂😂😂
No unnecessary childish drama... And the story is well written, I LOVE ALEXA RILEY'S BOOK SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA.

He the rich man smitten with her..
After bribing his way into her life, he slowly manages to unearth their daddy kink and win her heart! I would have rated this higher if they did not - also having that scene in an AR book totally shook me!

May 1, 2022A little part of me can't help but cringe whenever books use super modern references or include gaming- I think I have ptsd from some other books that I've read. It's actually a problem and I genuinely can't help it 💀💀 so in that regard, I was a bit icked out.
But aside from that I really enjoyed the romance aspect of the book 🧍♀️.

I hate to say it this way, but this was pretty damn good for an Alexa Riley book. Not all of their books are bad or disappointing, but there have been quite a few that felt very messy or ungrounded, if that makes sense. And I've been coming across more and more of those types by AR in the past year, so it's become a little surprising to come across a good one like this.
I really enjoyed the MCs and how they interacted, especially when the heroine didn't know who her secret admirer was. And their shared kink of payment for sexual acts was done SO well because it felt personal and very intimate. They went from small things like him asking her to wear a sweater while she was gaming on camera, to him going down on her, and so on. Personally, that's not my thing in a romance book, but it was very tastefully done and it fit with the plotline.

Why does it make me even harder when I give her money?
This book was dedicated to women in gaming and I'm one of them so I was excited for this novella.
So after reading it all that mattered was - if Asher could pay Lexi $500 for a phone number, a $100 for every question Lexi answered and another $500 for wearing a sweater, would anyone be willing to do the same? I promise to not change my number ever.

I loved this novella by Alexa Riley! The premise was so fun and fiery, and I couldn’t put this one down! I love this world and can’t wait for more! This book was spicy and swoony and just the best!

Lexi meets Asher at her best friend's wedding, he's the best man and she's the maid of honor. They are both immediately attracted to each other but, Lexi keeps her distance from Asher. I liked that Lexi was a gamer but I hated that every time she went online the men on there were just nasty with the stuff they said to her. Asher finds her online and starts messaging her as just another gamer. But he also finds her in real life and starts a relationship with her then. I hated hat she was calling him daddy, why? I'm not a fan of the daddy kink but Lexi and Asher loved it a lot. The story overall was OK, I did like some parts but a lot of it was a big no.

Pretty terrible for an older Alexa Riley one. Was more of a smutty connection between the two and almost no romance. Also didn’t appreciate H’s inner monologue of wondering if the reason why this particular woman ( the h) caught his attention was just because he needed to fuck her out of his system. The gets her number and details just to “fuck her out of his system”

Asher and Lexi were so flippin adorable.
Asher was naturally hilarious. From the girly username on accident to taking Lexi to COSTCO. I need an Asher in my life. They had a lot of fun together and it made the smutty scenes so much better.
I wish this is how I felt when reading, Teach Me, but the mmc in that was mean and cold a lot of the time, especially when it came to the, "bought it, now it's mine," play. Asher was always respectful and anytime he said anything remotely connected to the paying for sex kink they shared, it was never cold and he never said it in anger. Asher is a hot and very safe mmc.

Baby!!!! It’s always going to be the Daddy kink for me! Literally if there is a Daddy kink I’m almost already at 5 stars. Alexa Riley is always a hit for me but when they incorporate their tried and true formula of crazy insta love, super spicey dirty talking alphas and a Daddy kink, I’m all in! The only reason I took a star off is because I actually wanted this book to be just a little longer. I wanted more. But for what they gave me 4 smutty stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really wanted to rate this more because I loved that we finally had a heroine who didn’t refuse money but wasn’t gold digger either. i’m always so confused when female characters are struggling but refuse gifts from billionaires. Would’ve rated this four or even five stars if I wasn’t annoyed we got conflict in the last pages and it didn’t even bite in “the villain”s ass. I love insta love as much as anyone but I also need some more drama or at least to see justice/ karma.

I enjoyed reading this story. I suggest reading ‘Sealed With A Kiss’ before this book. The characters run across both stories. It was love at first sight for him but for her it was scared and overwhelmed at first sight. He goes out of his way, to find her and to spend time together, learning about each other. When she needed him, he was there for her, protecting her and caring for her, something that she never had before. That and being himself was what she fell for. Loved the epilogue!

It's all well and good but what's the point of making the FMC a virgin, if it adds literally nothing to the plot... What's the reason? To make the MMC appear even more shallow because we all know he wouldn't like her the same if she wasn't a twenty-something virgin?
As always, I enjoyed AR book. They're almost always worth money and time.
