Amazing sequel from Jennifer Siddoway!! As a book published from a smaller press this YA story really holds its own with any book published from one of the large publishers!!! The first story reminded me so much of The Mortal Instruments and was even better in my opinion! Devil's Due follows Wynn as she is starting her first year in college and reminded me a lot of The Vampire Diaries!
There is so much I want to rave about but with all the twists and turns and shocking moments, almost anything I say could be a spoiler!! The romance is just swoon!! We see most of the characters from the previous book in this sequel and I was so excited for some of them to return!! One of the side characters is reveled to be a medium of sorts and I LOVED her role in he book!!
The ONLY negative thing I can say about this story is that I would have liked to see more of the other realm in this world! I would love to be able to explore the other beings that we hear so much about in the story but very rarely see but a few of them! Again this story is beautifully woven. well thought out and an absolute roller coaster ride of emotions in all the best ways!! I cannot wait to read Book Three!!
