The male lead supported and believed in science ever since he was young and had a naturally unsociable disposition. However, since he was born in a family whose maternal lineage were sorcerers, he was cast out of the clan due to his lack of magical powers. He and his younger sister depended on each other thereafter. One day, the male lead noticed that his sister had gone missing and heard rumours about the Demon King’s evil doings. Believing that the Demon King had abducted his sister, he decided to crossdress to infiltrate the Demon King’s city to save his sister. Unexpectedly, the Demon King is actually a handsome guy who likes making dresses?!
What kind of finale was that? The author didn't want to continue the story it seems, but at least they could give us a real ending. Too bad, because the story was really cute and the art nice.
This is a story about a demon who grew up alone and now wants a friend, and a human boy who is discriminated against because he's half mage but with no magic powers thus also friendless.
It's pretty cute and funny, Iver (the demon king) has a very odd idea of humans because he's never been in their world, and Ling Xiao is trying to find a friend for him while having no friendship experience.
This story had potential, unfortunately the author admitted losing interest and rushed the ending. It's still technically a good ending but clearly there wasn't a lot of thought into it and some aspect of the story remain unexplained.
