You figure you don’t have a normal office job when your latest business trip brings you face to face with brutal pirates in the South China Sea.
With a wife and young son, I have no desire to embark on adventures of the sort I had found myself embroiled in during terror attacks in Mumbai and later in Afghanistan. All that changes when I meet a hostage released by the pirates. A woman who has a stunning message for me.
I soon realise that there are those who want the secret of this message buried and are willing to kill to keep it that way. As innocents die and my family is attacked, I realise that sitting on the side-lines is no longer an option.
I join forces with an old comrade, a deadly sniper who has been on his own quest of retribution. Against overwhelming odds, we must get to the bottom of the secret behind the message and bring our enemies to justice.

Sniper's Quest - Mainak Dhar (Book 3 of the 7even series)
The best part about Mainak Dhar's writing is the reality he shows, our soldiers, their life at mission, their sacrifice, their pain, their fight, their dedication, their challenges, it gives goosebumps when you read it and feel. Every soldier has a story of his own, every mission has its own anecdotes which speak a thousand words. And these all characteristics are present in Mainak Dhar's story telling. You can have all these experiences while reading his books.
This is the third book of the series and like the other two this also has so much to talk about. I like each and every scene of the plot and felt so proud of our soldiers and their sacrifices for our country. A great read 👍
As the title goes, this is an amazing thriller, with quite a lot of twists and turns. Cud not stop myself till I finish reading the last of its last chapter. Incredibly Talented Author, Mr. Dhar. Kudos, Salutes n Good Wishes for his future endeavours. Yes, indeed I understand that the things have improved in favor of our Soldiers nowadays. They're aren't just POWs but invaluable assets, pearls of glory, on the Necklace that our Bharat Mata adorns. 👌🙏
Have not read anything like this in a while. Demolished all three books in this series within a couple of days and still left wanting for more! Kudos, Mainak Dhar! You are really in the league of Tom Clancy and Frederick Forsyth! Keep them coming! No senseless masala in these books. Really superb and completely hooked. Seriously among the best of the best and a must read.
A perfect hit. Engrossing and good reading. Keeps you glued and guessing. Wow again. His tongue in cheek writing manages to lighten a taut situation. Have to read all his books. MK Dhar you rock. It is fun reading our soldiers are on par with the best in the world. Which they are for a fact.
The writing style is really bad and it confused me to connect with the story. It took lot of efforts for me to understand the story's characters as well, overall its a one time read👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Evertime Dhar was mentioned I wanted to throw the book away. I am sick of this so great Dhar character. I am probably never going to read any thrillers from this author again.
