This is a well written book with strong characters in Magnus and Cassie. The author does a great job building the story as she brings them together. It's an older man/younger woman mafia romance filled with drama, action and a sizzling romance. She moves the story fluidly with her descriptive scenes and delivers another terrific read. I loved reading their story and as usual , I loved the extended epilogues.

I enjoyed this book by Flora Ferrari. It was a sweet, older man/younger woman romance. Add in that Magnus is Cassie's dads best friend, it makes it all the better. It was a short, insta-love story with a happy ever after. Highly recommend it.

Magnus wants to get know her a little better so he come up with a plan to go inspect his childhood home for the weekend before he sells it and Cassandra accompanying him. The two succumb to their attraction at house. It was steamy, carnal and erogenous.
The story was captivating and fascinating. The characters sizzles and the chemistry electrifying. A fast paced well written story that grabs right from the beginning. Falling For My Dad's Best Friend contains betrayal, tension, lies, rivalry, lust, passion, suspense, drama, danger, power, surprises, deception, secrets, enemies, heat, and love.

InstaLove at its best
Magnus didn’t understand what was going on within his company. Somebody must be talking but who?? When a beautiful young lady walks in and he’s told that she is his new personal assistant Magnus know straight away that this is the woman he’s gonna spend the rest of his life with. She is just stunning and then he finds out that she is his best friend’s daughter this is going to get complicated.
Cassandra a.k.a. Cassie Knew as soon as she stepped into the room her attraction to Magnus is firing on all cylinders. Her father had never really been there for her or her mum choosing his work over his family. Yes she loves him but it wasn’t gonna stop her from getting her man.
Magnus was going back to his family home which he was trying to decide whether to sell or keep so he decided to take Cassandra with him for a few days. And it was obvious when they spend time alone together that they were meant to be. But Were they safe together ?? would Cassandras father except what was happening??
Wow this is so exciting they can’t stop The Feelings and they go straight For one another. It is amazing how quickly and how deep these two feel for each other. Magnus' mother has been pressuring him not to sell the house his father built since his father died. Magnus wants to get rid of the house that he sees as a symbol of his father's weakness. Then he learns that his mother has hired a new secretary and its not just any new secretary but it is Renner's daughter. Just one look at Cassandra and Magnus knows that he can't let her go even if it means destroying his friendship with his best friend. Magnus decides to get some time alone with Cassie and takes her to inspect his father's house. Just being there with Cassie has changed the way he thinks of the house.

Just ok for me. I don’t expect too much of the KU insta love stories, but this seemed to be lacking for me. Maybe I have read too many lately and I am just getting burned out. I have read other stories by this author and found them satisfying.
First of all I do like age gaps, virgin heroines, no cheating, and epilogues. This has all of it. However it also has a criminal element (not something I enjoy usually)to it although our hero seems to only work with criminals as kind of a mediator/enforcer(honestly I’m not really clear on it)Yet, there was no discernible angst. The tense moment in the book I saw way ahead of time. Everything moved along very predictably. I felt at times the characters were trying to fill in the blanks by telling me instead of having the story unfold naturally. In addition to this the story seemed to go on and on after the tense moment in the book. Like I said, I’m an epilogue junkie yet one epilogue 5 years in the future would have been fine, I didn’t need the extras this time.
Anyhoo, if you are looking for a quick insta love story that is sweet for the most part then this will be your cuppa!

Cassandra was little when her parents got divorced and since then she only saw her dad once a year. Now that she’s older he asked her to visit and H’s mother offered her the job of H’s assistant.
The moment they see each other they fell. It doesn’t matter that he’s double her age or that her dad is like a brother to him.

This is not just your ordinary, run of the mill love story with an age gap! Cassie’s father is Magnus’s best friend. Magnus and Cassie have never really met as her relationship with her father is tenuous at best. When Magnus and Cassie first meet, there is a pull for both of them.
They try not to act on their feelings but Magnus hires Cassie as his personal assistant. Eventually, they give in to their emotions and develop a relationship.
Some people try to interfere with their relationship making things difficult for them. It takes some working but Cassie and Magnus have several obstacles to work through.
This book kept me reading from beginning to end. I simply could not stop reading this book! I have only read a couple of this author’s books but I will be looking for more of her books!.

I enjoyed this romance story with all of the characters. The two main characters were Cassie and Magnus.
Cassie had finished college and now she can spend more time with her father. That has not been around during her life because of his job. When he ask her to come visit she does so. But she never expected that her father's boss assistant would offer her a job there. So she takes the job. But when she meets the boss she surprised by his looks and how she reacts to him.
Magnus is a very mysterious man. He is quite wealthy and handsome. He wants to sell his father house that he inherited. But his mother doesn't want him to. So she hires a new secretary to distract him.
I had fun reading this short story. It has action and drama throughout. It was also a little bit steamy.

This insta-everything love story is about Magnus and Cassandra. He’s just had a new assistant appointed to him, and it’s his right hand man at work and best friend Renner’s daughter. He’d of course heard of her before but hadn’t met her. He expected her to be a younger kid, but she was anything but that. He fell under her spell instantly, as did she under his. The attraction and chemistry frightens her a little, but it’s also comforting and all-encompassing – for both of them.
It’s sweet, passionate and steamy. They seemed to be meant to be, no matter what… just who the other had been always waiting for. And I loved all of the epilogues. I give this book four and a quarter stars.

IN this book we meet Cassandra & Magnus. There is something going on that neither Cassandra or Magnus knows about, but Magnus is sure his mother is at the heart of it. What would you do if when learning about Magnus you find out you are not his type at all? Would you continue to pursue him or watch him from a far wishing it was you? This is what Cassandra has to decide when she is hired as Magnus's personal assistant. Though her father wants to now protect her, there are just some things he can't ever protect her from. Will these two find a HEA or will it all just have been an illusion?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Let's see here. Father's best friend. Older/younger. Office setting. Can we throw in any more taboos? I am not sure, but I am game to find out.
This is another insta-love romance from an author that specializes in them. As usual, the story is well written and easy to read with a fun cast of characters.
I love the basic simplicity of the romance in that both parties know what they want and act on it. As usual, there are some obstacles to overcome, but when both parties want the same thing, we can shelve the angst and go right for the HEA. Overall, that works for me and produces another very enjoyable read.

Magnus is imposing and mysterious. When his mother first tells him he is getting a new assistant he is not happy, but then he meets Cassie, the daughter of his best friend and he immediately knows he wants her like he never wanted a woman before her. But he lives a dangerous life and Cassie just reconnected with her father. But Cassie also knows what she wants and when push comes to shove they would both die saving each other...
The extended epilogues were amazing and special. Otherwise this story in the best sense is typical Flora Ferrari, great story, ott alpha and steamy.

Magnus and Cassie’s story has all the good things we can expect from a Flora Ferrari book - sweetness, smexxy fun times, a little drama that’s quickly resolved, and a man who goes after everything he wants while treating his woman like the queen he sees her as. This one did not disappoint! Cassie reconnects with her estranged father, only to start working for her father’s best friend. Magnus is the head of The Family, taking life far too seriously. The moment he meets his new employee, Cassie, he’s plotting the ways to make her his and take care of her forever. Taboo, fun, and super sweet!

Magnus is a man of mystery but the one thing that is clear is that Cassie is the woman he is meant to spend his life wife. The only problem is that not everyone is happy they are together and will do whatever is necessary to keep them apart.
I really enjoyed the hot chemistry between them, how they don’t deny their feelings for each other and the suspense added another layer to the story.

I've read a lot of books written by Flora Ferrari; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

When Cassie's father invites her to visit him she does. While there, Magnus and Cassie meet when his mother hires her to be his new assistant. There is an instant attraction between the two. Magnus worries what his friend, Renner's, reaction would be if he knew he was attracted to his daughter. Unbeknownst to them, their attraction to each other is going to have some dangerous results. I really loved this book. The characters chemistry sizzles. This book is filled with a little drama, danger, hot, steamy romance, and a few surprises along the way. I highly recommend this book.

When Cassie is hired as Magnus' assistant it's instalove for him. Cassie has feelings for him, too. Her youth and the fact that she's his best friend's daughter may complicate their decisions. There is also suspense and danger concerning Magnus' family business. This story has a good plot, descriptive worldbuilding details and intriguing characters. I like the simmering tension between the main couple, Cassie's bravery and the extended epilogues. The pages fly by in this older man/younger woman novella. Very entertaining!

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Magnus and Cassie. Cassie is a young woman starting to work for her dad's best friend as good assistant. Magnus does so shady work, and doesn't expect to find happiness. But his mom hires Cassie and his world is thrown upside down. She's secretly crushing on him, but she's afraid since he's older and best friends with her dad, he would never consider her. But that's not the case. A great HEA.

I would recommend this sweet romantic instant love story, well written, lovable characters with brilliant chemistry and a great storyline. An older alpha male and younger woman, love at first sight, romance, some troubles along the way, sweet sexy scenes and a happy ever after. Ending with plenty of time skip extended epilogues to give you glimpses into their future together. Bring on the next instant love short story romance by Flora Ferrari, cannot wait.

Cassie is hired to be an assistant to Magnus. Her father works with him and is also his best friend. They are immediately wanting each other. Cassie doesn't think he'd ever want her. She had an ex that tore her confidence down. Magnus thinks she'd see him as too old. It doesn't take them long though to see that they really do want each other, more than anything. A little chaos ensues, but is quickly fixed. Very sweet epilogues.

Ms Flora has done it again with a delightful older alpha man and a younger woman. Magnus is Cassie's father's best friend and as soon as she meets Magnus when she starts working for him, the chemistry and attraction is immediately palpable.
Magnus immediately knows that when he sees Cassie that she is the one and the mother of his future children. He doesn't care that she's younger or his best friend's daughter, he'll do anything to get and keep her.
This is a lovely story to read, I enjoy reading Ms Ferrari's books

This one is a page-turner for sure. I did enjoy it from the start to the finish.
I found that all the characters worked very well together and I had a fantastic
connection with them as well.
I didn't find any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of this story either.
If you enjoy older men and younger women, this is one of the best stories I have read.
I can recommend this book to others that are over the age of 18+.

Oh, my! This story drew me in and made me feel so much in such a few pages. It contains so much love and desire with a little intrigue. The feelings between Magnus and Cassie are swoon worthy. Magnus's mom adds a lot of fun to the story. I love older men/younger women stories and this one definitely did not disappoint. I enjoyed the twist at the very end.

Cassie and Magnus meets when Cassie comes to stay with her long absent father. Magnus is her fathers best friend and they work together. At first Cassie is hired to work for Magnus and there is a mutual attraction. There is some drama and a couple surprises, but at the core it is another instant love story and it was a good story.

This story is about Cassandra, who has chosen to be a part of her father’s life, after he abandoned her and her mother. Her father works for a man named Magnus, who’s job is unclear and a bit sketchy. Cassandra got the job as Magnus’s assistant, and that is where they meet and feel an instant attraction.
This book was well written, with likable characters and a good storyline, with a small twist.

I enjoyed this quick love story about Cassie who after living with her mother for years is finally getting to spend some time with her dad. She never expected his friend Magnus to be the man of her dreams. The attraction is mutual and as soon as Magnus meets Cassie he knows she's his, the woman he will marry, the one he's been waiting for. This insta-love age gap story will keep you turning the pages with all of its twists and turns as their love story unfolds
