Two outlaw wolves. Two sets of fated mates. Two agonizing choices. One happily-ever-after…
Hawk Romero, undercover wolf shifter operative, risked everything to help Ariana De León escape from her brother Rico’s South American cartel. Now Rico is bringing an army of mercenaries to get his stolen sister back—and destroy the small town where she and Hawk are hiding, near his base at Outlaw Ridge.
Gunn Jorgenson has committed the cardinal sin of an outlaw operative—falling in love with a cop. But Michelangela Connors isn’t just any Enforcer—she comes from the most legendary pack of shifter Enforcers in the country. Gunn's ready to quit his job to be with her—until he gets an SOS from Hawk.
Something is wrong at Outlaw Ridge—and the wolves are in chaos. Without them, the town’s defenses will fail. Promising to return in a few days, Gunn leaves Michelangela behind to help his friend—and the pack he left behind.
As Rico and his cartel soldiers approach the town, both Hawk and Gunn face decisions that could save everyone they care about—or destroy them. And in order to defeat the cartel, only one of them can have his fated mate, and the other will lose everything…
The Outlaw Wolves are wild, broken, and a little bit crazy—and they take down bad guys no one else can touch. This book is a PREQUEL NOVELLA (half the length of a regular novel) with one HEA and one gut-wrenching relationship implosion, tearing the couple apart until Fate brings them back together in Outlaw Wolves Book 1: Hunted, to fight for their love.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "STOLEN" (OUTLAW WOLVES PREQUEL) This is one story you don't want miss getting I love Anastasia Wilde's books so full danger suspense, intrigue, violence, angst, humor, steam, paranormal adventure a roller coaster ride of non stop action, twists that make for a real page turner. Hawke Romero he's undercover Wolf Shifter spent 18mos in De Leon Cartel compound helps Ariana De Leon escape her brother Rico the South American Cartel. Gunner Jorgensen on a special ops mission with non other than Shifter Council Enforcer Michelangela Connors aka Mikey comes from a legendary Pack of Shifter Enforcers he's gone & fallen in love had to leave her to help his friend Hawke. Rico De Leon & his Cartel soldiers are out to get his sister Ariana back punish her for leaving & kill the traitor Hawke for what he did no one defys Rico. Hawke asks for Gunn to have his back to save Ariana from her brother Rico he leaves Mikey to go help his friend but things aren't right at Outlaw Ridge Pack Alpha Gregor who keeps the wolves under control had some cray issues happening up him. I definitely recommend to get this phenominal start to this new series you just can't put this book down so many interesting entertaining characters that pull you right into all the chaos. I'm so looking forward to "OUTLAW WOLVES BOOK 1" "HUNTED" this "Gunn & Mikey's" story after that cliffhanger want to know what happens between these two. AWESOME AWESOME READ!!!
I have read Anastasia Wilde's shifter series from the begining. The first group, The Silverlake pack, then the Bad Blood Crew, who are all survivors of torture by shifter hunters, the three Wild Dragons, the Al Madderi dragon clan, and the Wild Blood Crew, which is made up of the elder children of the Silverlake Pack and the Bad Blood crew. Also Dragon Boy (known as DB) an orphaned dragon who walks between worlds and has the ability to simply appear when needed. I know there are lots of stories left to come, because there are more children of the original characters - they talk about siblings. In my opinion it really is necessary to start from the beginning, with Fugitive mate, the first book, and read the books in order to appreciate the world Ms Wilde has created. All of these groups are related to each other, or very good friends, interact in the books and are always there to help each other - one of the things I like best about the saga as a whole. I do like Ms Wilde's writing style, although graphic sex isn't really my favourite part. With this new series, the Outlaw Ridge wolves, another of the children of the Silverlake Pack stars, but I like the starting of a completely new group of wolf shifters, with different problems, getting away from the (Someone's) mate titles. Stolen is an introduction to this new group, that I thoroughly enjoyed, and, having already enjoyed book 1, Hunted, I'm looking forward to continuing to read about this fantasy world as long as Anastasia Wilde continues to write books about it
Stolen is the prequel to the Outlaw Wolves series, and the intensity of this story sets up the series brilliantly. The range of emotions that this quick story brings out is simply amazing. Yet, mostly I’d say “intense” is the best way to describe the introduction of Hawk and Ariana, as well as Gunn and Michelangela (Mikey), because events in this story will affect both couples in far different ways yet set their futures somewhat in stone.
Most of what you’d need to know before picking this one up is in the cover description. What you won’t find there are the emotions that this dangerous situation will draw out of you, as there are some truly crazed players here. Men who were able, by choice or circumstance, are willing to destroy others to get to their end goal. The villains here are vile, and they will do a lot of damage before they are stopped.
While Hawk and Ariana are the main couple in Stolen, it was actually Gunn and Mikey who truly stole my heart. What happened to Gunn was so unfair, and while his and Mikey’s story is the first in the series, well, the events here fully explain the situation between them by the time Hunted comes along.
Hawk has been undercover within Ariana’s despicable brother’s organization for more than a year – he’s also found his mate in Ariana. He needs to get her to safety as quickly as possible, and there is only one place to go and a few specific friends to ask for help in doing that. What follows is an intense battle between Hawk’s organization and one power-mad man’s compelled pack.
While one couple finds their happy-ever-after ending or beginning… another will not (at least for now). Gunn’s future has been stolen from him and only time will tell if he can survive without his mate.
I was easily swept up in this story, and I’ve already started the rest of the series. Well-written, intense, sexy, emotional, humorous, and so much more. I loved this introduction to the series, and would highly recommend it.
STOLEN is the prequel to Anastasia Wilde's new seriesThe Outlaw Wolves. Ms Wilde has done a brilliant job of setting up the new series. This series proves to be as well written as her other books with never a boring moment. There is lots of interesting characters, twists and turns, steamy romance that will keep the pages turning.
This introduction to the series has Hawk undercover in a drug cartel's compound where he falls in love with Ariana, sister of the leader. Fleeing to Outlaw Ridge he calls his friend Gunn for help to fight off the cartel's army that will kill everyone in their way to punish everyone that helped Hawk and Ariana.
This is a short intense, action packed story that leads us into the series about a pack of misfit and broken wolves. I wasn't going to read and review this new series as my plate was full. So glad I did, I discovered the Bad Bloods and others were involved, including Ninja Baby all grown up.
This is a must read for anyone who loves paranormal romance. If you liked this Prequel, check out HUNTED the first book in the series.
I received a free review copy of this book and am gladly leaving my voluntary and honest review.
Really starting off as being one great new series by this author. This prequel story is really edge of the seat stuff to introduce this new series. I wanted to rush to end to know what happens. When I was at the end and what an ending, I NEEDED more. Luckily I have Hunted ready to read through Kindle Unlimited. We sort of have two intermixed stories going on plus a great background plot which leads to book one. Ariana and Hawk are fighting to survive against her drug cartel running insane brother. And Michelangela and Gunn, whose story starts here with a joint mission and is told in the next book. My only complaint was we get one silly action by Ariana in going back to her brother. Not totally her fault, more Gregor's delusions, but she knows what he has done in the past. Did she really think he would not still raze the town and kill everyone? He is insane. But Hawk hadn’t told her the truth of her brothers' depravity against his own fiancée, so he has to take some of the blame.

During an 18th month assignment, Outlaw Ridge undercover wolf operative of Outlaw Ridge, Hawk Romero escapes with his found mate, Ariana DeLeon, sister of demented alpha heading the cartel. Aware Ariana;s brother is on his way to Outlaw Ridge, Hawk contacts his teammate, Gunn Jorgensen who’s finishing a case with council enforcer Michelangela Connor.
Aware women aren’t allowed at Outlaw Ridge and Michelangela’s ignorance of that part of his life, Hawk promises to return so they can start their life together. Gunn and his sub-team hurry to help Hawk as Ariana second guesses her decision to leave her brother and mate Hawk. Also, as the battle starts its evident the elderly Alpha Ridge alpha begins is losing his grip on reality. This fun short links to other series in this author’s -oeuvre. Rating: 4.25stars
This can be read as a stand-alone, but it is even better if you have read some of the books in the multiple connected series. I am fascinated with how the author manages to connect her stories across multiple series, while still making each series unique in its own way. This story features Hawk and Ariana, but also gives us an introduction to the couple that stars in the next book. There is action, suspense, mystery, humor, shifters, magic, and romance. I can't wait to read the next book and see what happens to the Outlaw Wolves' alpha and the woman he left behind.
I always love Anastasia work and to get a whole new series id=s great and the fact that we get a nod to past series ties everything in nicely This is basically Hawk and Arian's story and how the Outcast wolves rally to keep her safe from her deranged brother but we also get to touch bases with Gunner and Michelangela and we know that there story will be the first of the rank with hunted Looking forward to more outcast wolves and the mates that bring them to their knees.
An interesting read with the outlaws being a pack of sorts. Misfits coming together and trying to get over their past hells by working as a team,. But Hawk finding his other half while under cover doesn't mean he's no longer one of them. Just that now he has something else to fight for and she's very lucky he came along. As this is just a preview it has me itching to see what comes next...
So, so much happening. Gregor's mind has lost it. Paranoid delusion, mind slipping. Danger all around and Gunn has to lead, take control? Excellent story. It gave me goosebumps all over. Cried a lot too. I loved this story. Even if our soldiers have PTSD they still fight to protect and have honor in their hearts. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review
This story was a slow, but exciting one. It layed out the beginning of the series, just enough to keep the reader on edge. I did enjoy it very much. It also, has a large movement of characters, so I hope each one will get his and her chance at a story of their own. Hawk and Ariana's story was explosive to say the least. I was at the edge of my seat just waiting what would come next to tear them apart.
The story had excellent characters, and I was impressed by the battle scene. I could tell thought and research went into it. Ms. Wilde made me care about the characters and their outcome. Certain scenes were graphic, but not “over the top” graphic as in some other books I’ve read.
The one big thing I’d suggest is finding a really good editor so the grammar mistakes and typos don’t slip through.
I absolutely love Ms. Wilde's books. Imagine how excited I was to see she has started a new series. And this really was an amazing start. Hawk and Ari's story was full of excitement. But we are also introduced to a new group of shifters to fall in love with. I Gunn and Mikey are up first. You know what that means...we will get to see some of our past favorites. A truly great read!
A great introduction to the world of the Outlaw Wolves and a exciting read! It was great to meet Hawk and Ariana, but also the Outlaw Wolves and the people living in the nearby village, protecting Ariana in her time of need.
A great taster for the new series… definitely leaves you wanting more!!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
One of my favorite reads as it sets up the test of the Outlaw Ridge books beautifully. And oh is Gunnar in for it when Mickey finds him ! Well written Special Ops shifter series ! Shouldn’t be missed ! 5✨’s
I really liked Hawk & Ariana's story. Undercover operative falls for the captive sister of the drug cartel lord. He gets her out of the situation ... and trouble follows them home.
Home is at the base of a mountain, where the Outlaw wolves live. A group of misfits & broken wolves. While Hawk isn't part of the pack, he's worked with them ... and makes a call to Gunn to ensure their help. Gunn has to leave behind Michaelanglea to ride to the rescue.
War comes to the mountain, and when it all shakes out ... there's a new Alpha of the Outlaw pack.
