What in the world did I just read? First I try to be very kind to authors because it takes a lot of guts, determination and courage to pour your heart into a work of art and send it out into the world. But there are so many ways to avoid grammar, spelling and punctuation errors and this book was riddled not To mention let’s use some contractions people. But that’s okay if the story is there I can handle it. What I can’t handle is when your characters are completely irredeemable to the point of being the true villains of the story, and the H was absolutely a piece of garbage. No, he was an insane piece of garbage.
In the first 22 pages he essentially rapes a woman, then calls her a whore and humiliates her in front of her alpha to the point where she’s caged as punishment and he essentially shrugs his shoulders as if it’s not his fault. Takes two to tango buddy. He doesn’t get better either. He’s has a temper that verges toward abusive, he is a spoilt man-baby to his “mate”, he’s supposed to be progressive with his dealings with the humans but treats his mate like it’s the early 1700s. If I were a therapist I’d assume he has some sort of personality disorder he’s that’s dysfunctional and inconsistent. Now I get the author was probably trying to set him up for character growth but there’s only so much I can tolerate. I was sickened by the way the h just chose to accept her fate to avoid humiliation. I won’t finish the series.

Jara has been told all her life that she fated to Grayson, but when she gets rejected by him her life sprials plans she don't know what to do. Archer has a temper, and was raised to not show anything to anyone. When he goes to a nearby pack he starts to change when sees Jara. What will happen when things they can't control are pushed onto one and the other tries not to show anything? This book gives so many unexpected things your head and your heart will be at war. The emotional twisted, and turns and just the right amount of alphaholes and sweetness and with an ending that will blow your mind. I can't wait for the next.
Wolf Traded By Ember-Raine Winters Jara and Archer Alpha Archer found his perfect mate at a neighboring Alphas mating ceremony when he rejected her. Now she is Alpha Female protecting his pack, and negotiating help for the poor neighboring packs. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I dropped this on page 22 when the male lead we’re supposed to like decides to join in and rape one of the women. Even before that all I could ask was if this was even edited. It is full of grammar mistakes, missing commas, and a repetitive feeling.
- “Maybe she has just accepted her position beneath him because the alternative would cause to much upheaval in the pack?” - “Isabelle the seamstress in town is a bit of a hoarder though.” - “I wouldn’t put it past some of these delusion females to try to do something…” - “‘Don’t remind me tonight. I don’t want to think about it tonight.’” - “The girls watching me fuck the hell out of her and I never thought I would like the idea of being watched but as I keep pounding this girl and their eyes on my probably wishing the little cocks that are currently inside of them were as big as mine, my balls tighten at the envy I see in the other alphas eyes it’s a beautiful thing.”
I hate HATE leaving bad reviews, but as someone who can read a 200 page book in a day, it took me a week to get through this. The story had a potential to be great. The grammar was terrible, it was repetitive and I didn’t like how the MMC treated the FMC. It just wasn’t for me, and I’m a huge fantasy reader. I won’t be continuing the series.
I’m just not into it. Had potential but then fell through. Makes the main mc just look like an idiot. I can’t feel anything for the characters. But the overall idea is good. I always say take a chance and read bc maybe what I don’t like you are fine with.
I enjoyed the storyline so far. I like the characters and am hoping we'll get a softer (still BAMF) Archer, but I like him nonetheless. If grammatical errors are a big thing for you this book isn't the one.
this books story is very good but the grammar errors throw it off. needs better editing. The story moves fast but not as steady as it could. will read the following story to find out who is the enemy and who is the friend
I don't usually read Supernatural books. They aren't for me but this was advertised on Facebook and the little they gave in the post had me wanting to give it a tried and it was good.... Jara was told since birth that she was mated with Greyson, her family has prepared her to be the female Alpha, then he rejected her, which was good for Archer because he wanted her since he saw her... Her old pack treated her badly, and she starts to learn that she like Archer pack a lot better, that she belongs there and they treat her a lot better.....
