Second Chances: Book Two in the Cardinal Trilogy
"Second Chances" is a story of love, loss, and the special bonds we make in the least expected situations. Evie Barnes, an eighteen-year-old waitress from Roseburg, Oregon, lost her adoptive parents in a car crash when she was only ten years old. Following the tragic accident, her grandparents took over as her legal guardians. Love that you do not have to read the first book to love this book, there are characters from the first book but it's not about them in this one, this one has its own story with the same kind of theme continued from the first book. A feel good, emotional read. Love it.
