The best volume so far. The beginning of the class trip is hilarious. The fanservice is really for laughter, nothing salacious. I’m looking forward to the next volume!

At first glance the average consumer would believe that High School Girls is only for the horn-dog anime otaku that is looking for panty shots, half-naked girls, & risque situations. That first glance belies the honest humor & storytelling abilities of the author. That's not to say that there isn't an overabundance of fanservice, but it's humorously done in a fashion that will not entirely alienate the non-fanservice seeking manga reader.

The stories revolve around four high school friends (sometimes the term friend is used loosely) and their misadventures. Missing are the overly cliche romances, teacher crushes, & rivalries that appear to be a staple of most mangas today. What examples of the above exist are only used briefly & then dropped in the manga.
