Not that i disliked. As goodreads rating system says "It was ok".
I don't like the shallow crazy vicious archetype anymore, so this volume was kinda meh for me. I get the appeal, with the fights and using Garm to test thorfinn's new mentality, but it would be more interesting to focus on Hild and thorfinn rescuing the ladies. I wanted to know they're feelings a bit more. It was like "rape is bad. Moving on... they need a boat"
Sig's arc tho, so damn funny man... I giggle everytime he shows up.

Questo arco narrativo mi sta prendendo tantissimo, soprattutto perché il conflitto interiore di Thorfinn è stato reso davvero bene.

What can I say but I continue to love this series! This was an emotional volume. Not as much humor but a lot of heart. Can't wait to watch this in the anime one day!

It was fine, pero debo admitir que la historia comienza a ser repetitiva. Entiendo la finalidad de que Thorfinn se enfrente a situaciones que lo hagan cuestionar sus ideologías, pero ya me cansé del constante "A new adversary has appeared. Will Thorfinn finally use violence or a secret third thing? To be continued..."

Bien, pero podría pasar sin el enésimo "¿Terminará utilizando Thorfinn la violencia ante este nuevo callejón sin salida? Chan chan chan". A este paso llegaremos a Vinland en el 2031.

Garm's introduction is absolutely wild! Seeing what he's capable of and his nonchalance adds to the terror of his character. I can't wait to see what he'll dare do to get that official battle out of Thorfinn.

Okay, I was extremely surprised when Vagn died almost immediately after being introduced. Gamr has the potential to be an interesting character as Thorfinn‘s shadow but at the moment he’s rather annoying.

There's always a maniac going around.
That been said, i kinda like Garm. It doesn't feel like a new characters in terms of his attitude, but i like his ability with the spear and his very funny.
Thorkell is the best, his reaction (to what happened on this volume) was expected but priceless. I can't wait to see what happens next, this could be a problem for a lot of people.
Floki, as always, very hateable. I mean, he makes it easy, but he's a really good "villain".

I was afraid that this would happen, we are deviating from the expedition and this frustrates me a little, I understand that this plot and the introduction of Garm (which irritates me) is the setting for Thorfinn to question his ideology but I want it to end, the best of this Vol. Thorffin and Hild rescuing the girls this makes their dynamic develop and demonstrate their humanity I think it's one of the brightest moments of Vinland and there have been many mentions of King Canute I just hope this means we will see him again soon please!
Si temía que esto pasara nos estamos desviando de la expedición y esto me frustra un poco, entiendo que esta trama y la introducción de Garm (que llega a irritarme) es el escenario para que Thorfinn cuestione su ideología pero ya quiero que acabe, lo mejor de este Vol. Thorffin e Hild rescatando a las chicas esto hace que su dinámica se desarrolle y demuestren su humanidad creo que es de los momentos más brillantes de Vinland y han habido muchas menciones al Rey Canute solo espero que esto signifique que lo volveremos a ver pronto por favor!

Nella guerra del Baltico appare Garm, un nuovo combattente, ragazzo che ricorda per certi versi quello che fu Thorfinn, ed è al servizio di Floki. Thorkell è spinto da Cnut ad affrontare Vagn, l'avversario di Floki nella guerra civile dei Joms, ma Garm arriva prima e lo uccide.
Thorkell allora unisce le sue forze con quelle dei seguaci di Vagn e decide di muovere guerra a Floki attaccando direttamente Jomsburg.
Garm vorrebbe anche scontrarsi con Thorfinn, che lo evita. Ma quando Thorfinn e Hilde arrivano a Odense scoprono che Garm li ha preceduti e ha catturato Leif, Einar e Gudrid lasciando il solo Occhioni e il bambino (col cane-mamma) ad attendere Thorfinn.
La storia s'intreccia parecchio.
4 stelle.

From this volume onwards, all of these are new materials for me and I freaking love it so so much! It is gruesome and tragic but I love the hilarious parts too, it made me laughed out loud so many times. I can't wait for the next volumes and chapters to be out. 4.5 stars!

Encore une fois ce manga ne me déçois pas et Thorfinn semble enfin avoir trouvé un adversaire de taille bien qu’il n’a aucune intention de l’affronter. En parlant de cet adversaire il m’intrigue beaucoup et j’ai envie d’en savoir plus à son sujet

Los amo a todos sin excepción pero mi corazón ahora que mi favorito no está lo tiene Thorfinn, en serio ha evolucionadomuy bien. Thorkell es el puto amo ajajaja.
