Another brilliant collection by this author. Kathryn’s books are so well written that you are lost entirely to the past and her characters for the duration of the books! This is another highly entertaining collection and I’d only read The Questing previously but that didn’t matter because it’s a book I love so it was nice to revisit it in this collection. The Centurion, The Gorgon and The Promise were all new to me and well worth reading. Strong, handsome heroes with their feisty female counterparts. I am not put off by longer stories as you really delve into the lives of the characters and the events that surround them. I laughed, cried and sighed but above all, thoroughly enjoyed!

Of course Kathryn Le Veque, one of top medieval authors who writes credible clothing, food, actions, way the people traveled, & down to little sayings or quips that people of the era would say. A reader of a Kathryn Le Veque novel always knows it's almost like reading a movie; yes, one can picture the well written fast paced, action filled storyline that is full of well defined characters easily in ones mind eye.

History meets imagination good read

Never ever disappointed in a Kathryn Le Veque book!
All four of Kathryn's books of such strong and formidable knights has got to be one of her best collections. These knight's ladies are so strong and fun to see how their knights come to know them. Well written stories that come alive as you read each one. I loved this collection of books.

Amazing stories.
I loved all the wonderful masculine heroes.
Positively riveted on the Gorgon but wasn't enamoured by his wife?
Thought the sex was too descriptive.
Would recommend a cleaner version to my friends.

Excellent compilation of books with chivalrous Knights and their beautiful Brides. Stories of love bought from tragedy, adversity but ending happily ever after. Well written by Kathryn LeVeque.
