Understanding Theo

Being introduced to Theo with the series Curious you get an impression on who he is, but it's wrong. Having his pov with this book, makes him a much better person and makes them all more human.

I enjoyed this book, I am sad it wasn't longer, and that the ending felt a little quick, but I'm absolutely glad I got to read it.

Hopefully this won't be the last of Theo, Lucas, Jack, Ella and Hailey.

Even though I've seen this listed as MMF and MM, it is truly a MM book. There is only one scene in the beginning that is MMF and it is with a sex worker, so no feelings. I wish this series was complete because I hate starting it and then being left waiting, but I read this before I realized it wasn't finished yet. This book was well written and the characters were perfect. Sweet and totally clueless Theo and Lucas who works his tail off to help pay for his sister's medical bills.

I just love Theo's brain. Sure what comes out of his mouth is worrying but like honestly its just how we words things and who else hasnt had that issue before. The man has an interesting sense of humor and pretty much is cut and dry if you look passed his pretty cover.
I love his dynamic with Lucas although i hate Lucas' communication skills. Why shut up when this guy aint paying you and is literally asking for honesty the same way he is honest.

Not rating because DNF - not necessarily a problem with the book. I don’t care for blackmail as a theme. Not sure exactly what blurb was provided wherever it was that I picked up the book, either it wasn’t mentioned or I somehow didn’t notice. I did try a few chapters but nothing there to draw in my interest enough to override the blackmail elements.

At this point, I think everyone knows that I love a cutie lil MM romance. (I didn't realize this was a series and the second two aren't on my list for the year. Annoyed about that.)
