This is without a doubt the best fanfiction Ive ever read
It’s not only beautifully written, but amazingly paced and more importantly makes you feel all the ~feels~
So amazing
Made me cry, and I don’t cry with books this easily
They felt so real and human and omg what a journey
I basically read this in a day, and was up till 8 am finishing it

This book had the three things I love most: Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and guyliner
I especially appreciated the allusion to Larry, Year 7 Lara is so happy to be reunited to Larry fics
Do not appreciate the fact that Peter was seemingly a good person and friend?? But I mean I’m willing to overlook that simply because I was cheesing the entire time I read this. Holy peak.

This fic was literally my dream fic. I love second chance novels and the exes to lovers trope and this was just so so perfect 😭 The fact that after 10 years they still loved each other like the first day, how pathetically in love they were, and how they find their way back to each other at the end.
"I am drowning in all this want for you. And maybe I could handle it," he exhaled broadly, "if I didn't feel you drowning right next to me."
Sirius being a famous musician and friends with Harry Styles (lmao) was my favorite thing. I love Sirius as a popstar but it's really so sad how much he had to give up of himself to get it, and how he always said he didn't give a fuck about fame and money when all he wanted was Remus *sobs*
"When Sirius had said so long ago that he played a character on stage, it was never more apparent to Remus than it was in that moment, because this wasn't the Sirius Black he had grown up with, but the celebrity he'd become."
"He was my dream. He knew that. I'd told him a thousand times."
"The life I wanted to live," Sirius repeated slowly, "was with him."
I love how the author got deep into this idea of not letting someone else take a choice for themselves because you think that's the best for them. You take that autonomy from them, you don't let them make their choices, and even IF that somehow was a mistake, they should be able to make their own mistakes, too. You have no right to take that from them even if it's with good intentions.
I didn't want it to end 😭 I needed more, but the end was so perfect and feel like it didn't matter what would have happened, they would still somehow find their way back to each other. They were in love since they were teenagers and kept loving each other blindly even when they were almost thirty. I loved it so so much, and the angst and comfort was so wonderful.

Sometimes I have a hard time with second chance romances but this was great. Ripped my heart out but I understood both sides. Just wish I didn’t take 10 years! I love them all so much. My little babies are happy and that’s all that matters.

Adult wolfstar is fantastic. Another variation of Taylor Swift’s Tis the Damn Season. Lots of fluff with some angst sprinkled in. Highly recommend!

August 23, 2023Started this fic at midnight and just finished at 3am on a Sunday night, but boy was it worth it. I giggled and squealed like a teenager, I cried along with the entire gang, I beamed so hard my cheeks hurt — I loved this entire story. Wonderful writing, wonderful story. Anything for our boys, especially when you’ve given them such a lovely journey <3
