#OHMURR!

Rate this book
#ohmurr! is a venture into furry smut like no other. We're blending photography, short fiction, and nonfiction into a sex positive experience not yet seen in the furry fandom. We seek to feature murrsuit photography, pup gear, pony gear and related kinks, on top of fandom made sex toys, sex positive articles and experiences from furries, and playfully sex-filled fiction. Think of us like a Hustler magazine for furries, only without right wing cringe. Our goal is to remain sex positive, be as diverse as possible, and to have fun.

The second volume of #OHMURR! had a little less fiction than I had hoped for and a few more interviews than I expected (who knew there were so many makers of fantasy-themed sex toys?), but it mostly remains true to the vision and spirit of the first volume. This is both good--as there is a wide variety of content, art forms, and body types portrayed, such as a clever story that explores possible sexual positions when one of the participants uses a wheelchair and an essay about how to engage in erotic hypnosis without a partner--and bad, since what I felt was the major flaw of the first installment carries through to the second, i.e. the writing quality can vary widely from piece to piece. This makes me feel a little torn, because I can see what this series *could* be, but I don't think it's there quite yet by volume 2.

However, I'm heartened to see that #OHMURR! has steadily continued since its inception, and as of this review there are 8 volumes out. If I pick up any more, it will be whatever volume is current, to see if the series has found some better footing over time and the consistency of its quality has strengthened.
