first book to get me into reading for a while and for the longest time i thought everyone was over exaggerating about this woman and what she went through just because she’s one of the greatest singers ever but yea this got me and i get it now. rest in peace ronnie it took me ages to finish it but it’s given me so much hope. i don’t want to get too corny about it but there was a few days where i couldn’t put it down and i finished it on the train and the last few chapters, i had to keep pausing because i was afraid i’d start crying. all this is to say that it’s a great book and she’s a great woman and im glad i read it
