This thrilling science fiction begins the Andalon® Saga, a collection of speculative science fantasies spanning many centuries. The saga is grand, already approaching 600,000 words with infinite space to grow. The Andalon Saga blends several genres, especially science fiction, dystopia, post-apocalyptic, fantasy, action/adventure, and psychological thriller.
Andalon Project is the precipice, the point where our world ends and a new world begins, and reads like pure science fiction. It slowly twists our world and wrings it until nothing exists but humanity itself, the core of the Andalon Saga.
This story is the chronologically the first of three series and focuses on Dr. David Andalon, a genetic research professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His Mendel Project examines the human mind and the evolution of desired telepathic and unwanted telekinetic abilities.
After losing funding, David searches for options to further his research. That is, until his brother-in-law makes a timely phone call. Even David knows no one says no to General Jake Braston, and he and his team fly across the world to join old friends in a secret military project. Narrowly escaping a series of cataclysmic events, they find themselves face to face with unbelievable laboratory specimens with unimaginable powers.
Meanwhile, in a secluded portion of the United States, a veteran, a grieving mother, and a single mother fight against a different kind of threat. The world as they know it descends into a warlord society, one in which resources hold more value than social issues or morality. Those who remain hang onto life by a thread, faced with choices they never considered possible.
Ripe with action, intrigue, and betrayal, Andalon Project is waiting for readers like you.
As you read, remember, every ending is a beginning...

T.B. Phillips debuted in 2019 with his award winning series Dreamers of Andalon, a cautionary fantasy adventure taking place twelve hundred years in our future and set in the age of sail. He has been lauded for his skillfully choreographed sea battles and action sequences, painting a vibrant picture of detail directly into the reader's mind.
He is a former sailor and educator. He served the United States Navy as a Chief Cryptologic Technician and Analyst, living out his own adventures while learning about the world. Many of characters are a sum of the people he met and interacted with during his travels, as evidenced by the comradery displayed in his novels. He retired from active duty in 2008 and taught English and History before becoming a public school principal.
He began his novelist journey after a challenge by his children. As a single father he worked hard to encourage literacy and interest in the arts, and he and his children read and discussed books of all genres throughout the years.
T.B. Phillips is originally from Wichita Falls, TX and resides in Fort Worth, TX with his beautiful wife (and super-intelligent marketing manager) and their blended family of six children.
He humbly thanks you for finding his work entertaining, and hopes to do so for many years to come!
I’ve often wondered if my food storage would be enough to sustain my family during hard times. I have even wondered what the world would be like after a major global event alters life as we know it. TB Phillips has given us a book that drives the reader to turn the pages again and again to see what comes next. California suffers The Big One, Yellowstone releases it’s pressured load over most of Western America, and nuclear EMPs wreak havoc for the rest of the population, plunging the people back into a literal Dark Age. And during all of this, Doctor David Andalon, after experimenting on rhesus monkeys at MIT, realizes his full potential in genetic mutation giving powers to humans never-before seen!
Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book in this series!
As an author I do not review my own books. I am using this space in order to update readers about my work.

I've never really been one for sci-fi books, but I feel like the author really did a good job playing with emotions and when you think you know a character, they turn into something else. The abilities that are created can be dangerous. One of my favorite scenes and characters is probably Max and his struggle with his family and PTSD and how the author almost makes it seem that he is 2 separate people, the soldier and the kind man just trying to survive and find his family. I will warn that the book will make you feel a complete loss of hope for the story, but it is an apocalypse so things must be tragic before they can get better. Wonderfully, tragically written.
An awesome book! I had already read and thoroughly enjoyed the first trilogy. Now I know how this intriguing saga began.
Andalon Project is so well written and the characters come alive in all their intelligence, goodness, evil intentions, jealousies, adultery and self-sacrifice. As their world, including America, is destroyed, I couldn't stop reading to find out how the survivors handled the devastation. It will surprise you and keep you guessing.
T.B. Phillips is brilliant. Could this book be a foretaste of things to come?
"Andalon Project" by T. B. Phillips is a seriously excellent post-apocalyptic science fantasy. It is intelligent, personal, and pragmatic, yet interwoven with science so imaginative as to seem magical. It is so believable in terms of creating a new world by achieving that next level of genetic advancement, while watching the foundations of culture and humanity crumble around you. The prose is precise and the pacing perfect throughout. The multiple story threads are fascinating, diverse, and so intensely personal in a gray landscape where personal needs have been wiped out. I especially appreciated that the various characters had depth, specialized knowledge and unique perspectives based on their background and work, and Phillips truly worked to show that knowledge in their functionality and decision-making.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys post-apocalyptic fiction with adult characters at the juncture of a new world. It is easily the best post-apocalyptic novel I've read.
I was expecting lots of lab scenes and moral quandaries of experimenting with artificially creating human life. What I got was a story of real time apocalypse and barely post apocalypse which is a unique take. No matter who you are, there's a character you can find yourself identifying with as people from diverse backgrounds tackle a world ending event at the same time bringing their own baggage and trying to move on in their own way.
Having discovered this author's other series Andalon Awakens, Andalon Arises and Andalon Attacks I fell in love with his descriptive writing style. Beyond ESTATIC to finally be able to see how the other Andalon books world came to be. Definitely beyond words on how well T.B. Phillips has been able to make his previous Science Fantasy books into the here and now. I do not want to give spoilers but this is turning into a definite series I would LOVE to see made into a huge TV series or movies!
