This isn’t my first outing with prehistoric hanky panky. Prolly far from my last, too. Am I sorry for reading this stuff? Hell nah! Now this book had a lot of potential. The cover had me laughing for days, the premise sounded ridiculously fun, and I was looking forward to reading some really wierd stuff in here. Sadly though, there wasn’t much in the comedy arena, which was a huge missed opportunity. And the sex was very bland, especially with the situations put together by the author. And let’s face facts, you’re reading strange erotica like this for good sex and/or pure hilarity. Neither of which came to fruition here. I think the biggest gripe was how the sex was so ‘human,’ despite it being between bisexual dinosaurs and even with those same dinosaurs treating poor Diana like a Chinese fingertrap. With all the hype going into this, and especially with part of the story taking place in a secret sex dungeon for dinos, this fell short in so many ways. I wanted to see some truly unique things here, including, but not limited to, pegging with tails and/or horns, caveman roleplay, erotic re-enactments of Jurassic Park, some wierd game where a dinosaur buries their penis in the dirt and the others excavate for it, anal beads that resemble the dinosaur killing asteroid, and even a sex area that’s built to look like a tar pit. Because even dinosaurs like to get sticky, right? Needless to say, this wasn’t a terrible story, but it just greatly lacked in all the necessary areas to be either great comedy and/or a hot erotica.

I liked this, I thought it was super fun, but..
I wish there was more to it?
Like, I feel like all of it was just rushed and cut short.
The sex was the biggest part of the novella but even that felt like we didn’t get enough time to actually find an equal connection between all three characters. There was just a big lean favoring the guys, and the FMC sort of felt like an add on.
Then a plot was tried..I feel like it didn’t succeed though because it sort of just felt out of place and I think it honestly would’ve been better if it was left out entirely. I would’ve liked it better if it was Just about the relationships. Maybe we would’ve gotten a tiny bit more development if we weren’t distracted by the secondary ‘plot’.

I love Clio Evans (one of the authors), but I'm not that much into dinosaurs, I guess😅
Overall the book was good and I liked the characters, and there was steam and it was sexy. But it was also bland sex-wise, it lacked spice. Compared to her other works this was pretty... tame. And that's not really what I want in monster porn.

This was quite the interesting read, which I enjoyed a lot. It was such an amazing experience to read a book by these two wonderful authors! So creative!

I saw this cover and immediately thought to myself, "This is absolutely ridiculous. I must read it." And honestly, the longer I look at it, the more I love it.
Premise:
A carnivore, an herbivore, and a human walk into a room. Two of them are dino shifters. The room is an exhibitionist sex dungeon masquerading as a science museum. They do it a lot. The end.
Thoughts:
You know when it’s 2am and you're lying in bed just rolling through the intrusive thoughts? That’s what this whole book is- One giant intrusive thought that spiraled out of control and is now a full-fledged book.
It wasn't the worst thing I've ever read though.

This was genuinely written really well, and if I liked the concept it probably would have been 5 stars because it had plot, decent smut and it only took me like 40 minutes to read. It was actually a pretty good book. However, while some people might be into that type of thing I am NOT and that’s all I’m going to say on the matter.

I never thought I would read a dinosaur romance, but if Clio Evans is involved, I’ll definitely give it a shot. And I’m glad I did 😅 this short story brings all the kinkyness Clio writes so well with the weirdness in which Vera Valentine is a pro (I mean this as a compliment, please). I had a lot of fun reading this story. Imagining those things happening with literal dinos got me laughing enough already, but then you throw in the “prehistoric milk” and I was unalived. 🤣

Remember jurasic park, being chased by dinosaurs? These dinos in this book are shifters, they can change their size, and partly form and they chase to use you sexually- with a safe word Ofcourse.
This book was very entertaining, funny, hot. And had even some unexpected plot twists.

Dinosaur Shifters?! That’s what caught my attention. This was a very entertaining read. I was giggling several times and some of the scenes were actually kinda hot. It was a quick and easy read. The perfect book to end January with.

Have you ever heard the joke about a carnivore, an herbivore and a human who walk into a room?....No? Well, neither have I. But... I did find a book that gives us exactly this scenario. And no, I don't mean a human vegan. I'm talking dinosaurs. You know... the prehistoric kind.
Luckily, this short novella lets us see exactly what a relationship between the three of them looks like. And I can guarantee there will be some bones... I mean boning. There will also be someone getting eaten...out, some shifting, a LOT of size difference, and plenty of prehistoric chaos.
Now, this book is labelled as Book 1 in a series, and it can absolutely be read as a standalone. But because I'm a huge dinosaur fan, naturally I went digging to see if there were more. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to unearth any others yet. So now I'm just sitting here with my fingers AND toes crossed that more will eventually be excavated.
One of the things I love about Vera's stories is that her monsters and shifters don't suddenly become completely human when things get spicy. They get to stay weird and wonderful. These dinosaur shifters essentially have three forms:
1. Their gigantic full dinosaur form
2. A dino-humanoid form they can shift into at will
3. A human appearance created through a magical amulet so they can blend in with regular humans

And when things get... carnal... they don't necessarily need to stick with the human version. Thank you Vera!! Which means we get all the fun that comes with dinosaur anatomy, unique physical differences, and some VERY creative coupling.
Exactly what I was hoping for from a dinosaur shifter romance.
Their relationship eventually develops into a throuple, with everyone getting their chance to explore the relationship with each other, which was such a fun addition. So you get plenty of smutty scenes, even a kinky museum exhibit abd let's not forget the our Daddy Dom Dino. Yes Sir.
And yes, I know you're probably wondering about the special peen and special come since I like talking about those, so without furhter ado... there are definitely some interesting descriptions of the peens as well as humongous sizes...because they're dinosaurs, so naturally its big.
As for the special come, let's just say that when you're dealing with prehistoric creatures, apparently you get prehistoric milk...and A LOT OF IT! Like... A LOT.
Overall, this was exactly the kind of ridiculous, unhinged dinosaur romance I was hoping it would be.

A combination of two amazing authors, Clio Evans and Vera Valentine bring us the most amazing Dino sm¥t romance we could ask for. I lost count of the number of times I laughed at all the dino puns and especially the scene involving a pink fusha d¡|dø 🤣.
Diana, a permitting official, finds herself at Fossil Falls, a small town known for its dinosaur museum. Already annoyed and angry that her boss doesn't respect her, her day only gets worse when she enters Fossil Falls Museum. Where she comes across what she believes are human workers with dinosaur masks playing a prank on her. Nor that she is about to uncover the secret this small town and museum hide behind closed doors, including some very smêxy exhibits.😉
The moment she meets Tybalt, the museum T-Rex director and Casey, a Triceratops tour guide, the attraction is undeniable. But will they both be able to convince her that dino shifters are real? What will happen once all three find out the real reason as to why Diana is there?
This short novella is great for those who have never read a dinosaur shifter romance book or if they are looking for a quick read. I had so much fun reading this and can't wait to find out what the next book in this series will be about!

A big thank you to this author duo for providing me with an ARC for this intriguing story.
Imagine my surprise when a random dinosaur shifter MMF novella drops. Imagine my excitement when I find out who has written this. I already knew I was in for a treat.
I have never read anything like this before. But honestly? I say that after every book Clio writes, so I shouldn't be that surprised.
Dinosaur shifters are one of the few I have never seen before. But why the hell not? We got all kinds of shifters, so let's add dinosaurs into the mix as well. I mean, I'm kinda into it.
❝I really want to turn you into my little cum dumpster, Diana. I want to hear you scream and make you cum over and over. And Casey here? Casey wants to knot you. You know what knotting is, baby girl?❞
I mean... Do I need to say more? Don't think so.
This novella was the perfect combination between funny, spicy and downright dirty.
The ending felt a bit rushed and mushy, but it's a novella. So that's kind of the standard. It fit the story though.
I'll definitely be back to read the others in this series one they come out. This was honestly a lot of fucking fun.

I took one for the team, as my best friend asked me to read this.
Was I pleasantly surprised? Yes.
Did I find this highly amusing and ridiculous? Also Yes.
But do I regret it? No.
This little story had me laughing when I opened it up on my kindle. A town called Fossil Falls, and a coffee shop called Fossil Fuel? Hilarious.
I read the whole thing in one sitting, and I have to say, even though it was insta-love between Ty, Diana, and Casey it made the story flow nicely. I loved that his name was Ty Rex, like please. So fricken good.
The polyamorous relationship and all the dirty talk were written well, even though Dino Daddy got me in hysterics. ( I actually don't like the use of Daddy in the bedroom, but hey, it kinda worked here.)
I've read my fair share of monster smut, so when this came up, I thought why not. The chemistry between them was instant and intense, and the smut scenes were definitely imaginative.
The whole Dino-shifters / human / bigger actual dinosaurs thing made it really odd to imagine. especially when they were going at it.
It made me laugh and it was a very entertaining way to spend my evening. I'm actually curious now about what they will write next, as this is the first in a series.

I've read my fair share of monster smut, so when this came up, I thought why not. The chemistry between them was instant and intense, and the smut scenes were definitely imaginative.
The whole Dino-shifters / human / bigger actual dinosaurs thing made it really odd to imagine. especially when they were going at it.
It made me laugh and it was a very entertaining way to spend my evening. I'm actually curious now about what they will write next, as this is the first in a series.

This was definitely…..something. Lordt I’m going to hell.
I’m an avid monster romance reader. Love em. The dirtier the better. I get this is a novella, and low plot. I was looking forward to that and just wanted a quick read. But I heavily struggled to not cringe the entire time from secondhand embarrassment as well as having an INCREDIBLY hard time picturing ANYTHING that was going on.
Lack of descriptions for characters and setting really made this hard for me to submerse myself into. Especially since we are looking at human and non human partners, I just could not imagine how most of the spicy scenes would have worked between them…..at all. Just was not for me. A wild ride but not for me.
Giving it 3 stars cause it did have me laughing and eyes going wide in shock a few times so for shock value, it gets a 3 haha. The whole book was spice so that’s a 5/5 but not the kind of spice I typically enjoy so that’s fine of course! I just wish it was a bit heavier on the descriptive words and less heavy on the cringey verbiage between the main characters. But I suppose that was for a target audience.
All an all an interesting read which kept me reading without putting it down and finished it within an hour 👍🏻
