If you ever manage to take your eyes from the gorgeous cover art, then inside, you will discover a magical, brutal and scary world.
This one does exactly what it says on the cover. Welcome to 'Grimdark' , enter a world of grim and dark stories and lose yourself through its pages.

Black Hare Press were once again awesome enough to send me a copy of their blood-soaked anthology of horrory/dystopian/dark fantasy tales, 'Grimdark ' for review.

This collection of beautifully written yet violently brutal, blood-churning tales will leave readers in awe and drooling over the pages asking for more.
Stories that vary in thematology and style, making this collection the perfect companion for the spooky season that slowly creeps in..

These literary offerings present often dystopian, violent worlds with amoral or morally questionable protagonists struggling to maintain their humanity or choosing to throw it all away.

The beautifully designed book cover artwork reflects on what follows inside, as the book screams battle and struggle, triumph and submission, death and survival, valor and disgrace.

Even though I enjoyed every story in this anthology, I loved, just a bit more, 'Four Daughters' by Tim Law. It packed all the dread and anquish to make it a memorable, beautiful read.

'Vampire World' by R.S. Nevil and 'Wolf-Bitten' by Nathan Slemp are two more favorite and creepy little tales. No spoilers but just by the name, you know that you are in for a great monster tale.

Black Hare Press did a great job compiling this fantastic collection so fill up your wine glasses and dive deep into this lovely anthology of dark tales and be rewarded with beautiful and brutal stories to even share with your grandchildren one day.

The authors that provide the horrors in this anthology are:
