This is book one in The Trident 11 - Bravo Team Series and it is Clover (Lucky) and Joker ( Landon) story and omg what a great start to a new series and it is definitely a must read. Clover is a pilot and part of a elite flying squadron for the president and as she loves flying it is an honour to be chosen but she hadn't told her parent's, brother's or friend's about her job and they thought that she was a mechanic. Clover who's call sign was Lucky often went into enemy territory to rescue the seal team's her brother's included but she realised that it is fast approaching the time where she will need to reveal to them what she does. Joker has had feelings for Clover before they spent the night together but he hadn't seen or heard from her since that night but he is determined to sort everything out and hopefully she will feel the same way about him but he will not give up until he gets the girl of his dreams. While Clover is on a mission everything goes wrong and she is fighting for her life and trying to keep her major alive as he is very badly injured but now that she has been rescued things get even more complicated as she is being hunted by the people that betrayed there country so she needs protection and there is one person that she knows who will do that and that is where Joker comes in and he will do everything in his power to protect and keep her safe even if it is the last thing that he had to do. Wow this book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and I cried so much with everything that was happening and I couldn't put this book down as it was a real page turner that kept you on the edge of your seat and it was so addictive. The chemistry between Clover and Joker was so strong and intense and they are so perfect for each other and you find yourself hoping that they will have the happy ending that they both deserve. Jaime Lewis is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention throughout and the depth of her story's are what makes you go back time and time again to read her book's.

"Joker" is the first book in the new series Trident II - Bravo Team, and if this book is any indication this is going to be a fantastic series. This is the story of Clover "Lucky" Walker and Landon "Joker" Davis. Clover is a helicopter pilot, one of the best of the best, only her parents and friends think that she is a helicopter mechanic because she thinks they will worry too much, not only her dad but her four brothers are very overprotective of her. Joker is a Navy SEAL and is shocked when a call from the President of the United States comes through with a special mission for him. A simple mission has turned deadly for Clover and she has no option but to be placed in a witness protection program or to hide away in a safe house with Joker for her protection. Could this be a second chance for romance or will their feelings for one another put them in even more jeopardy? You will have to read it to find out, you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding MUST read!
This is the first book in the new series. If you have NOT read Alpha Team RUN do that now.
I have been addicted to Jamie Lewis and her style of writing since the very first chapter of Alpha Team. I have highly anticipated the release of this new series and it did not disappoint. A Captain with a secret career and her secret lover who happens to be a SEAL on her brothers team!!! What's not to love.
Angst, a little mystery, INCREDIBLE character development, depth, steamy sexiness, alpha males, badass women... It's perfection.
**My only complaint is that The captain is a Marine and is being called a soldier. Soldiers are Army not Marines.**

i really tried to give this a fair go overall, but i just can not(!) get into this book. the characters i cannot connect to. the plot is so close to irrelevant to me. i think this type of book just isnt really for me. its a fine good overall, but i really, really, really don't care for it. i totally get the good reviews, because i feel like this book is for very specific people, but those people are not me. its really not as bad as im making it seem, this is really just a me issue. check it out anyway, because i have pretty shitty opinions on books, and i think a lot of people would like this.

Clover is a marine helicopter pilot with a secret special forces group but her family and friends think she is a helicopter mechanic. She witnesses something and needs protection. She asks for the one person she trusts and that is Joker.
I love the pace of this story. There is action and suspense while their love story comes alive. It is a fantastic start to a new series and I look forward to reading the stories of the rest of Joker’s team!

Wow! Jaime Lewis does it again in this first book of The Trident Series 2 Bravo Team!
I laughed, cried, screamed and yelled! So much action and the story line just flows that you are swept away,
Pilot Clover aka Lucky has saved so many lives of the soldiers she has came in to pickup in hot spots, when she gets tangled in a mess she unwilling walked into it takes the love of her life and his team which is her brothers team to save her.
Incredible story. Need to get in paper as this is definitely a re read

Not what I expected
Okay so I started this book thinking I needed a little fluff reading after coming off a dark, three book series about the Made Man Mafia. Joker was not a fluff book. I'm reading along and I'm at 33% of the story and again I'm thinking, what else could possibly happen in this story. Well, a lot happened. Espionage, treason, murder, mystery. And more. Its after 3:00 am and I need to go to bed. But I just loved this book because most of all, it was a love story. Thank yoh Jaime Lewis. I will follow you.

Worth the wait!
What can I say? Jaime has hit another one out of the park with a fabulous introduction to Joker and the rest of the Bravo team. I cannot sing enough of her praises. She manages a combination of romance, love, suspense and action, and weaves them together with a flair that is uniquely her own! Now begins the seemingly endless wait for a new Jaime Lewis release!

Jaime Lewis is a talented author. Joker is the much anticipated start to the second Trident series and what a great start. I was nervous that the first series couldn't be matched but I'm happy to say I was wrong. Joker and Clovers story gripped me from the start and I loved it. The characters are fab and we still get glimpses of Aces team. Thank you Jaime for an awsome read. Can't wait for Bears story.

great story poor editing
This is a great storyline with a wonderful heroine in the first part of the story who seems to devolve as the plot develops in being quite wishy washy. The actual writing starts off strong but also seems to devolve into poorly structured sentences and descriptions of action scenes that are embarrassing to read. However with better editing this could be a super story.

I am totally reading this authors work out of sync but it doesn’t matter as each book I’ve read so far can be read as a stand-alone (however at times characters are mentioned, relationships etc which have already occurred in previous books or series)
Joker and Lucky (Landon & Clover) were so good together, the storyline was intriguing and kept me turning the pages, this was such an enjoyable military romantic suspense story.

What a fabulous start to the new series. An incredible story of a strong woman doing an incredible and dangerous job of flying a helicopter into and out of enemy territory to bring her team mates to safety. This is Clover and Jokers story and what a suspenseful intriguing one it turned out to be.

Joker and ‘Lucky’s’ story was fantastic. Lucky aka Clover is one badass helicopter pilot for an elite team ordered by the president . Her family does not know what she does . Unfortunately she ends up in a terrifying situation and needs protection and asks for the one person she trusts to have her six he’s also the one she’s madly in love with. Not going to give any spoilers but all hell breaks loose at Camp David . A must read

Intriguing Story
I love this book. The characters are interesting. The plot is sizzling. The writing is smooth . However, I gave the book only 4 stars because of the numerous grammatical errors in choosing the correct verb tense.

Wow what a great start to a new series. Absolutely love this book. It was a roller coaster of emotions, I was laughing and crying especially when Clover was shot and Bear and Joker was by her side. I give this book 5 stars, wish I could give more.

After a simple mission turns deadly, and Clover is put in the crosshairs of those wanting to harm not only the United States but also her, she is given two choices...go into witness protection or have a bodyguard.....

3.5 stars from me. I have really been looking forward to the start of the series and I was excited to start reading the book. Joker and Clover were great characters and I enjoyed the dual POV of this book. The plot was interesting, but I felt that it could have been more developed within the book.
The main reason for my rating of 3.5 and not 4 stars was the editing of this book. Multiple missing quotation marks stopped the flow of conversation causing the reader to have to go back and re-read the line. Several times, it looked as if the author had started a sentence one way then changed her mind, rewrote it but never went back to delete the original thought. This was very disruptive to the reader.
I will continue the series since I am dying to find out what happens with Bear and Jocelyn.

Book 1 Trident Bravo team.
I adored this book! Once again Jaime Lewis delivers a fabulous read, great characters and a really good storyline that keeps you turning the pages..books like this one are why this author is on my must have and pre order everything list..5 Stars plus!
