Victoria left him alone in a cave to die but John Seal isn't that easy to kill. On his ardous way back down the mountain, he's taken by Afghans, brought to their clan home and taken care of. Soon a familiar face appears and tells him, to find Victoria he needs to fly to China and appoints him a partner. And John Seal is up for his biggest challenge yet. A page turner like all the books in the series before and I'm impatiently waiting for the solution.
This mission just keeps getting more messed up. Ignorance may be bliss, but it also kills and our hero does not like the alternatives. Time to think outside the box.
This is the fourth book in this series, although there are others with the same characters that are not numbered. The story works fine as a standalone, but it is also part of an ongoing mission, so it might be more rewarding to read them in order. Your call.
This is a high octane spy thriller from the get go. The story is well written and easy to read with lots of twists and turns that kept me engaged, wanting to know how our hero was going to get out of this fix. What makes it really interesting is that our hero is nominally a data analyst as opposed to a field operative, but he fills both roles nicely. The characters are well developed and seem real, just like the setting and the plot. The plot moves along at a fast pace and involved plenty of action and intrigue so there is never a dull moment. Overall, it was another fun story and I look forward to more from this author.
Highly recommended.

Bleeding and freezing, at the top of a mountain in Afghanistan, having been brutally bashed by Viktoria, with whom he has come to Afghanistan to recover the Iranian computer chips, John Seal has to use all his will power to work his way down the mountain and then, the first twist occurs, and he is reunited with his Russian SVR nemesis – Balabanov when a group of mujahedeen capture him. This becomes an intriguing story with many twists and turns as he is patched up by his captors and introduced to another Russian female agent with whom he treks to China in pursuit of Viktoria and the computer chips she has spirited away. John eventually manages to recover the Iranian microchips and he escapes from China where his pursuit has taken him. Being smuggled back to the US, further twists become evident and doubts are raised in his mind with the veracity of the Pandora Initiative that has brought him to this situation. With the aid of a Chinese gangster, threatened by Max, he is on his way back to the US and the story left this reader looking forward to it continuing into the next in the series. Moses
Flight Plan, the latest episode in the Pandora Initiative thriller series is a rollercoaster ride of action, intrigue, double-dealing, and just plain good story telling. I have to say I’m firmly convinced John Seal has the innate ability to hop right out of the proverbial frying pan into the hottest part of the fire, and he has yet to escape unscathed. Let’s not forget he has had a blind spot for Viktoria, but could it be he can get past her? Maybe even with the help of another female Russian agent, Vera Dolnov? If you want to know any of the answers to these few questions I’ve included, you are going to need to grab a copy and read this episode. If you have just stumbled on to the series, might I suggest going and grabbing a copy of Mirage and getting started at the very beginning. I received an Advance Reader Copy from the author and chose to provide this review.
The continuing saga that is John Seal's life in the middle east has taken more than a few quirky twists. It does seem that more players are involved in this high espionage hijinks than might have been originally thought or expected. But true-blue American John Seal is up to the task-sort of. He's been shot, stabbed and clubbed over his head; left for jihadis in Iranian caves by his constant irritant, Victoria. It does seem, at long last, that he's grown tired of her impromptu insertions into his ops and has decided to usher her to meet her Maker. And, no, that doesn't mean her handler, but rather, THE Handler. But I am no spoiler. You're gonna have to read this terrifying roller coaster ride yourself-the thrill is much better that way!
John Seals lives through his ordeal from a previous mission with the help from Viktoria but can he get out of this one alive. His Russian counterpart, Bogdan rescuses John and partners him with another female agent , Dolnov and sends then to China to take out Viktoria . The plan to take out Viktoria seems to work but now John need to take out Dolnov and try to return to thge US. Max determines that Jack is in China and he contacts his connection , Bingan , who can John to the US but can he succeed.
This story picks up where Book 3 stopped. John Seal uses his wit, charm, past experiences and more to try to keep up with Viktoria T, his beautiful Russian, assassin/spy. Fast-paced action; enemies becoming temporary allies; and dangerous, smart, beautiful female agents are a part of this roller coaster ride of a story. Hold onto this book and your seat because you are in for a doozy of a ride until the last page of this book...and even then, you won't want to let go!
Michael D. Wright’s fourth book in his ‘Pandora Initiative’ series keeps getting better and better. The exciting adventure, mystery and suspense keeps you so riveted to the pages that you can’t put the book down. There’s never a dull moment especially with some unexpected twists and turns. I can’t wait to see what this author does next. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!
Seal joins with a Russian said to be equal to Viktoria. Another exciting story as Viktoria is caught and Seal recovers the Iran chips. Pandora continues as Seal on a stowaway is heading to America. The action is entertaining, but story keeps on without resolving the issue with the Pandora.
Allow a long afternoon for this fast-paced adult espionage thriller, I have, as usual, missed most of the earlier books, but still managed to make sense of this one. I again commend binging in series order to appreciate the full story arc.

John Seal wonders if his luck has finally run out. He has been abandoned by the CIA while out on a mission and is running for his life. Another excellent installment, well written and engaging characters.
