Mike Kraus & Muonic Press are the #1 selling indie press publishing post-apocalyptic tales, for good reason. Since capturing audience’s attention with Final Dawn in 2012, Kraus has captivated and delighted his readers, both with his solo projects like Surviving the Fall and No Sanctuary, and with his co-authored projects with authors like Justin Bell, JJ Pike, Tara Ellis, Kenny Soward and others on titles such as Zero Hour, MELT, Flashpoint and Weathering the Storm.
With over 50 published books across ten genres, author Tara Ellis is best known for her heart-pounding post-apocalyptic and thriller series. A heavy dose of mystery often underscores her character-driven plots, heralding back to what fueled her desire to tell stories from an early age.
A certified firefighter in the state of Washington, Tara volunteered as a FF/EMT for over eight years. She also responded as a support officer, worked as an emergency room technician, was a 911 dispatcher, and taught life-saving techniques to the public and first responders. As an author of thriller and survival stories, she draws upon her personal experience throughout her storytelling.
Tara lives in the gorgeous Cascade Mountains of Washington State. When not writing or spending time with family, she can be found hiking the woods while plotting her next adventure.

The 3rd book of the After the Crash series, by the sci-fi dream team of Mike Kraus and Tara Ellis, is Web of Destruction. It continues the deliberate virus infection of the global quantum computer O.N.E resulting in massive loss of life and loss of technology. Survivors try to reunite with their loved ones and survivalists/'preppers' must fight to keep what's theirs, from desperate marauders who try to take it. Add to that a bunch of a self-serving cultist group and the mix soon becomes toxic! Read on, to see who/what's at the center of this 'spider's' web!

pretty good storytelling but frequent silly mistakes.
Like “unphased.” Unless you’re referring to a disarmed Starship Enterprise, it’s “unfazed.” Look it up. And a former cop (Kathy) should certainly know better than to tackle someone who is being actively electrocuted. That she didn’t also get electrocuted just means the author doesn’t know better either. There are regular gaffes like that which throw you out of the story, but overall it’s worth a read. It would help a bit if the author learned something about firearms beyond some common names. There are some human nature unlikelihoods that had me talking to the author, like when a universally disliked selfish character (Ezra) suddenly turns into a demagogue wannabe and people actually back him at the party. They’d be much more likely to back their woman mayor against his bullying, especially when it got physical. Small town folks especially don’t like their women being manhandled in public and they certainly wouldn’t side with the manhandlers. The best quality compared to the usual post-apocalyptic survival yarns is the rare focus on the need for community. That’s what it’s really going to take for people to survive and thrive when the larger civilization collapses. That’s what’s keeping me reading the series.
I have been intrigued by the identity of Watchtower and thought I had figured it out. Excited to say that I was correct! This was a very good book which brings the groups together as danger is everywhere. There were some editing issues, such as using unphased several places instead of unfazed, demeaner instead of demeanor and some sentences ending with a preposition (yah the horror). I look forward to book 4.
As more masks slip and people continue to be killed in Redemption, the plot begins to both clear and deepen. Still not totally structured as to who the true terrorists are and how the plot went worldwide even as it became more deadly... this is truly a wonderfully enjoyable read! Congrats yet again, Mike Kraus and Tara Ellis!
What a cliffhanger. Can't wait until the installment to see what else happens. The author has brought these great characters together that are flawed but show great promise.
I was waiting to finish the series before reviewing it as that is what I usually do but however this book was adrenaline inducing. I’d suspected who Watchtower was quite early on . The revelation was still a shock and exciting as heck. Poor Wes.
Once again these authors have come together to write an outstanding book. How will anyone survive this Apocalyptic situation. Need the next book to find out what happened.
Oh oh. Twists ahead. More explosions, train derailment. We find out who?. Watchtower is, midst many ideations of who he could be. Read on, brilliant series.
This is by far my favorite book yet! I can’t believe who Watchtower is! I can’t wait to read the next book and find out what will happen to the people of Redemption!!!
