Great Stories

Loved this book.
I really loved this boxed set. I already had the books by Toni Anderson and Rachel Grant and these two stories are wonderful. I got to try other authors and I really loved the the last two stories and now I’m following new authors. I highly recommend this book. I read non stop until I finished.

Overall, a good collection. I skipped 2 books, disliked 1, and enjoyed all the rest. I found some authors whose backlists I'm now checking out. If you're looking to sample a variety of RA authors, this is the anthology for you.

Although I have read several stories by several of these authors in this anthology and recommend them all very highly, I was drawn to this collection by Toni Anderson’s contribution. COLD BLOODED is an intense, compelling, and suspenseful romance. Its solid character development and edge-of-your-seat narrative effortlessly draw the reader into the lives of the characters. There’s intrigue, emotion, heartache, and romance, which makes this story hard to put down.
This is just one description, but I am sure that the other stories in this collection are equally as intriguing and captivating. I look forward to reading the rest of these exciting and suspense-filled tales as I know they will all be highly entertaining reads as well.

Diverted - Lori Matthews
This is the first book of Lori’s that I have read and let me tell you, it is suspenseful. You must keep reading because you cannot put it down. I would categorize this as more suspense than romance even though romance is present. Of course, we know who the bad guys are but how was the RECON team going to get around them to get to their goal and the why’s of the what was happening. therein lies the reason why this is such a good story. I loved this story if you cannot tell already with all of my gushing. I also really liked that they are a little older (not 20 something) which makes how they see and handle things a little different. Three little things that I wanted more of: (1) why didn’t Nick tell Carolina of his anger regarding his back, (2) I wanted more development of their romance, and (3) the ending was too abrupt, I needed more but I am sometimes greedy like that. Other than that, this is a fantastic suspense/thriller and I definitely want to see the rest of the RECON team get their own stories. Who knew Coast Guards were such badasses.

Deducted for a 20 page explicit scene that was unnecessary.
Book 2: 1 star
Brutal, crude, could not get through first chapter.
Book 3: 3.5 stars. Good story. Not clean
Book 4: 1 star. Did not get through chapter 1. Refused to read about sex slaves
Book 5: 2. Was a great suspense set up until the lesbian angle. Did not finish
Book 6: Really good but ended abruptly in the middle of the story.
Book 7: 4 Deducted for 1 explicit scene. Great story, though

Cold Blooded is enthralling…
Cold Blooded starts off so sad, but then the mystery grabs you and you just can't put it down. Seriously I read this book in like two days. I love Pip's tenacity and Hunt's integrity, but they are both smart investigators also, especially once they trust each other. Their brains try to overrule their hearts, but once they come together they're hooked, if they live through this case. Fans of romantic suspense don't miss this sweet, sexy, twisted thrill ride.

This package had ten books but only one review. A couple of books very good and a couple terrible. Most books part of a series, different series and different authors. As long as each book resolves the major focus of the book it is reasonable but a book that resolves nothing at all and is a teaser for the next is not I dislike that the good books are lumped in with the bad

Amazing stories from talented authors all in one book. Romantic suspense at its best.
I can't pinpoint a single story I didn't like, I was pulled into each individual world and never wanted to leave.
As a bonus, I discovered new authors I will surely follow from now on.

Since this was a collection of ten stories that varied in their appeal to me I reviewed them separately. Some were very good and a few were awful, but Dangerous Touch was a freebie and I am all in favor of free reading material.

This one is full of great books by some of my favorite authors. I love all the suspense, intrigue and romance rolled into multiple books. Loved the chance to experience some new ones too.

Different plots same genres and you won't be able to put them down.
I haven't read five of the ten Authors before, but they were well worth the sleepless night's, and now I have a bigger list for books. Well done

Ten great reads!
It was amazing to read 10 great books without having to hunt them down. I hose this book because it has a couple of my favorite authors books in the group. However, I have discovered a couple more favorites and cannot wait to accumulate more of their titles.

A number of these weren't worth the time spent reading. . Some, I DNF'dd quickly, others, skimmed to end.

Only one of the included titles wasn't a standalone so altogether a pretty good read that introduced me to some new authors and new series.

Wow, such an outstanding deal! I have read a couple of the included books, and loved them. Blair Babylon’s Stiff Drink and Toni Anderson’s Cold Blooded are both excellent reads and well worth a visit to this great deal, as it is free at this time. Grab it and enjoy some exceptional reads.
