Fantastic, action packed ride! Lethal King is the second book in the Ruthless Dynasty series and everything I was hoping it would be. I was a little disappointed in the first book, but felt like this one really ticked all my boxes and reminded me of all the reasons how Sasha Leone can write a fabulous story with wonderfully complex characters that will hold your interest to the end. Rozalia is likely not for everyone, but I absolutely loved her and she was an awesome reprieve from our usual heroines. Super strong and aggressive, she goes after what she wants and is not interested in a traditional happily ever after. She's equally queen and bad ass bitch and wants to rule at the side of her man. Rian is the perfect man for her and is completely not intimidated by her strength. I loved the cat and mouse games they played with each other - their chemistry was off the charts! Can't wait for the next book.

DNF @ 36%. I wasn't a fan of this book. It had great potential but it was really hard to get into. Two stars.

Lethal King was the second installment of the Ruthless Dynasty series. It is a mafia, enemies to lovers romance. We have Roz and Rian, two extremely strong individuals. Their chemistry was off the charts and had the Bonny and Clyde vibes that I enjoy.
Roz was determined, focused, and a fighter. In other words, a mommy 🥰🔪💥
She wasn't one to cower away in tough times.
Rian was our misunderstood hero who once failed his people and was still suffering from it. He was a fucking simp for Roz and was a genuinely interesting character to follow.
Since the book was pretty long, I do agree with a few negative reviews that the plot was feeling slow. But the storyline had me hooked and now I am genuinely waiting for Tytus' story.

I've said so many times in reviews that I'm a dark & twisty girl, and I most certainly am, so give me a strong heroine who is hellbent on revenge, and I'm a very happy camper. Lethal King definitely gave me that awesome type of heroine with Rozalia, aka The Black Cat, who is going to make Rian Kilpatrick pay before that crown proclaiming him King of the Kilpatrick Mafia is placed on his head, and I was here for all of it. See, her past is littered with tragedy that was so horrible that my heart seriously hurt for her that's for sure. This story was a roller coaster ride of emotion with a kicker of darkness that kept me turning the pages to the point that I didn't do anything for one whole day because I couldn't put this book down for anything, and trust me, Sasah Leone didn't skimp on the pages. I'm deliberately keeping this review vague because why read how I feel about this story when you can just experience it all for yourselves, and it's a fantastic story that you do want to experience for yourselves! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Talk about a rollercoaster of a book.
My head and heart are one big confused and overwhelmed mess in the very best way.
Were there times I wanted to bang heads? Sure
Just like there was the odd time I feel like we missed something even though I've devoured every word of the last two books.
But just like the first book, the twists were just too good to ignore, and I didn't see most of them coming.
Especially those you thought you already knew the answer of.
Let's just say that the next book will be interesting....

I fell like you need to buckle up for this one because it is one wild twisted roller coaster of a ride from the beginning to the very end. Rian Kilpatrick is preparing for his coronation as King of the Kilpatrick Mafia empire. Rian is super protective of his sister Mel and he has not a clue that she is coming until she arrives with their Uncle Maksim as her guard. This put Rian on edge because he feels like there is an imminent attack about to happen to prevent his coronation and he needs to know that Mel is safe. She has come to surprise him with a gift of a painting that commemorates his special moment as he is named the King Boss of the Kilpatrick Mafia. Rian knows that he has enemies and it's not much of a surprise when his arch enemy Rozalia Dorn also knows as The Black Cat and her brother who is adopted Tytus strike with a shock and awe attack sending guest flying in all directions and Roz and Rian come face to face. She is there form revenge and his crown and if she has to steal it she will and leave a path of destruction in he wake. But these two have feelings for each other that are strong and intense feelings that border between love and hate and Rian can not let this attack go unpunished. Roz though has never had an easy life and she knows what it is like that have things forced on he rand she was trained for these moments by what she considers her family. But Roz is in more danger than she knows and someone from her past has plans. It is one that I didn't put down once I picked it up and I am so excited for the next book in this series. Now that I have said that I should say that this book is a complete story. You don't have to worry about being left waiting for the next book for and ending. If you haven't started this series then you really really should. "Don't deny yourself. Don't ever refuse what you want becasue it doesn't seem to fit into your life as you first expected.
It takes a rare dark romance that can pull of a game of cat and mouse without making the heroine into some kind of victim or woman who is "corrupted". Lethal King is one such book because goodness knows that Rozalia is the farthest thing from corrupted by Rian. In short, they're equals. When one runs, the other follows. It's a constant power exchange but it's an equal power exchangeI'm just as suprised as you are. They bring out the best (and sometimes the worst) in each other, but I was never worried that their relationship was unbalanced. Rian didn't have all the power and I was postive that Roz could deal with whatever he threw at her and that she'd give it just as good as she got. This is about as healthy as dark romance can get if we just ignore all the murder and kidnapping and if you're hestiant to get into the genre because the relationship are usually super toxic and the woman doesn't always have power, I'd highly recommend Lethal King as starting point.

A dark mafia enemies-to-lovers, hate-to-love feels, forced proximity, forced marriage captive romance with mature themes no cliffhanger and a guaranteed happily-ever-after. Wow! Phenomenal sit back relex for a wild ride of revenge, cat and mouse chase, betrayal, lust, tension, violence, drama, danger, lies, rivalry, anger, twists and turns, deception, secrets, murder, bloodshed, loss, pain, steam, kidnap, captive/ captor, suspense, surprises, arch enemy, revelations mystery, passion, hatred, angst, push and pull, power and control, manipulations, spanking, dominance, submission, brainwashed, obsession, loss, thief, action, retaliation, punishment, attack, love and so much more.
Rozalia Dorn suffered a tremendous loss as child when her entire family got murdered leaving her as the only survivor. She was kidnapped and use as a pawn by monster Egon for his own financial gains. He wanted to arrange marriage an husband who will help his empire more lucrative. Luckily, for poor Rozalia was rescued from hellish life by Dragomir only to go into another hell with his brutal adoptive family of Tytus and Gabriel who trained her in survival. Because of what she'd been through with Egon wanting set her up with suitable companion and the men who wanted to own her she vowed never to get that happen. Rozalia has a vendetta against Rian because she believes that he's one who got her family killed. She's hurting and doesn't have control over her life the loss of her.

The face off and draws their weapon. Rozalia has been a pawn between two powerful men since the death of her family. But before he receives his mafia crown Roz a.k.a. the Black Cat stole it with the help of adopted Tytus destruction. Rian was suppose to ruled his empire with fierceness, brutality, cold-hearted, and relentless. Rian knows Rozalia aversion for marriage so for her act of disrespect he announced that he was going to marry her whether it be willing or forcibly at the coronation as retribution for her humiliation in front of his people. He knows that this would gut because of fear of marriage and her childhood trauma at the hands of Egon. Rozalia is beautiful, fiesty cunning, relentless, intelligent and sassy. This made for an epic challenge when the two caught up their hate-to-love for each other all boils into one scorching hot heat and a magnetic pull to each other. The sexual chemistry between Rian and Rozalia was off the charts and steamy. These two characters connected on such a deep level. She was the perfect queen to help him rule his mafia kingdom and not afraid to get her hands dirty in the criminal actions. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to series and highly recommend it. The characters are tantalizing and compelling. It was brilliantly written and revenge driven and kept me riveted until the end. The story was an undeniably addictive and a page turner.

What more can we ask for powerful men, grumpy, oh and sexy and the super strong women learning they are the ones with the real power so buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a deliciously story 😊. This is the second book in the Ruthless Dynasty each book can be read as a standalone with a sexy but dangerous man and younger women out for some type of justice that steals their heart before they even know it. Here we have two damaged people but one more so than the other. Rozalia heartbroken missing the only family she knew, being used as a pawn in their game seeing she is the only survivor, betrayed and all of it builds to an unseeing anger directed at the one she knows started the ball rolling but, in her defense, she is just tired of being used, feeling like she has no control over anything let alone herself, and hurt. Rain sexy as all get out next in line preparing for his coronation see his enemy take his crown now it is time to go hunting for his little thief taking back his crown but in hunting, he discovers they are more alike than different. The chemistry between these to is so far of the charts and talk about intense well they take that to another level but the more they learn about one another a very thin line of trust and along they way they discover betrayal from the people you least expected it, love from those you have given up on, being king is one thing but to be a good king is another. Roz well with her past hurts there is so many for her but each hurt became a stepping stone for her teaching her to not blindly trust but to sometimes see past what’s right in front of you which makes her an amazing queen teaching him along the way that your past or traditions shouldn’t and do not dictate your path but you choose your path although, their path has so many twist & turns, things you didn’t expect so buckle up because this ride here will keep you hanging on to the edge of your seat hoping your safety secure but where are they headed and will they get their happiness their way?.

I am so glad I came across this book. I didn’t read the first one, but it’s already in my KU folder, so I’ll be getting onto that very soon! This is a stellar example of both great writing and creating fantastic characters that grab you by the heart and drag you along kicking and screaming if need be, but by the end, your so glad you found yourself here.
One of my favorite things about being an ARC reviewer is the opportunity to find incredible writers and to fall into these amazing words, like this one.
One criticism I do have is that several times it was expressed how Roz grew up in a village, but they are in the US, and villages are not really a US thing, so that confused me some.
Other than that one area, everything else was above average.
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.
3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.
2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.

Rozalia Dorn has had a terrifying childhood after her entire family was wiped out and she alone remained to be used as a pawn by a monster, until she was rescued one day by another man who later betrays her. After reading my second Sasha Leone novel, I’m more than convinced I need to go back and check out the rest of her backlog. These books. Are. So Good. There’s action, adventure. Suspense, romance and a ton of steamy scenes. They are also longer than normal dark romances but the chapters read super quickly that you don’t feel like you are consuming a 400+ page book. Unlike Book 1, Roz and Rian were equally matched in their strength and hate toward one another- Roz was a definite match for Rian in all areas! In this book she displayed a vulnerability we didn’t expect to see at times, though, which made her an even more likable character. And Rian, in typical fashion, would burn down the world for her. It was pure magic all the way around. Without giving away the ending, we did get set up awesomely with a sneak peek to Book 3 with Tytus and Melina (who I have a feeling is much less sweet and submissive than she seems). So excited to continue this series!.

This is the second book in this series by this author. This is the story of Roz and Rian, these two are two very strong characters, their chemistry is off the charts from the start. This is a mafia, enemies to lovers romance read at its best. This story is filled with suspense, passion, hot and steamy scenes, drama and action. This book will hook you from the first page till the very last one and leave you wanting and needing more. Another amazing read from this author.

This is my first read from this author and I will certainly be reading more! There is so much going on, yet it is all built up and entwined so beautifully.
I won't reiterate the blurb - it does a great job. Mafia - Irish, Italian & Greek!, family grudges, steamy hate-love, action packed and also quite romantic. (aaww!) The characters were all so well developed: Tytus, Drago, Babcia, Mel, Maksim, Deacon - even Leander & Adriano. All supporting characters but each uniquely portrayed. And Rian and Rozalia - perfect imperfect.
"Listen to your heart and everything will follow. You'll never fail, no matter what happens."
I definitely recommend this book - it has a little something for everyone. Even an HEA. And that cover is smoking hawt!.

Rian and Roz were absolutely magnetic!! This story had me hooked from the very first paragraph. I’m still not sure how Sasha packed so much into it.
This story of predator and prey is one I won’t soon forget. Sasha just seems to get better with every new book she puts out. I don’t want to give any spoilers so I won’t go into much detail but these two and their cat and mouse games lit my kindle up!! They were so well matched and the lengths they went to in order to outsmart each other were intriguing and genius. I look forward to seeing them in future books and can’t wait for the next in this series.

At first when I started this book, I could not get into it. I was trying to figure out what all this had to do with the story. But I continued on because I am a big fan of Sasha Leone. I am glad I did, because I loved this story. This is the story of Roz and Rian. Sworn enemies who end up playing games with each other. But what happens when these games go too far? You get passion, chemistry, deception, betrayal, lots of banter and hidden feelings you thought you didn’t have!

This is the 2nd book in this incredible series, and this is Rian and Rozalia’s story. Rian is preparing for his coronation as the king of the Kilpatrick mafia empire, when things are disrupted when Roz and her adoptive brother strike to disrupt proceedings. When Rian and Roz come face to face, the sparks fly. This is a well written action packed, enemies / lovers,’ dark forced marriage, mafia romance, which is a wild ride, with twists, mystery, danger, suspense, betrayal, emotions, intrigue, explosive chemistry, and love, which leads to an addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Roz and Rian have been playing this games of chase since her “foster” brother got entangled with his cousin in book 1. These two highly tech savvy, always ready to fight individuals find that the chase is exhilarating, but submitting and dominating each other is even better and far more rewarding. When Roz realizes she doesn’t want to bring the Lion’s kingdom down she has to risk it all for the man she now loves.
Roz and Rian were hot as the depths of hell. Their f%%king and fighting vibes were off the charts on the whole enemies to lovers scale. I couldn’t get enough of them. Oh then there’s Tytus and Mel, what will become of those two next? I can’t wait to see, but I hope to see more Roz and Rian even though we didn’t get much Gab and Bianca this book.

Wow - okay now that we know the world and the players this story is wild. I love how bad ass the FMC, Roz, is (even if she blame everything on her hormones *insert eye roll*) and this game of cat and mouse/will the won’t they is entertaining. Rian is our MMC who is obsessed with the hunt and then, most importantly, Roz. We can also appreciate that the whole time, Roz does everything in her power to not be a pawn by being a mafia bride even though it is constantly asked/expected of her. She talks lots about not being seen as an equal even though she’s just as deadly as them. If you haven’t read the first one, I highly recommend reading it first so it makes more sense as the importance of these events. FYI - also still hella dark.

I liked this book but it had some quirks that threw me out of the story too often. Rian and Roz were a compelling couple even if I felt like the chase/catch should have gone on longer as a game between them, just like never getting married.
What I didn't like was how disconnected from today's world this felt. Even though I knew this was a second book and was set in the modern day, it felt very alternate reality to me. Both the tech they used (the holograms, the ridiculous masturbating nanobots and the little round all seeing returning ball) all made me feel like this was set in the future. But then the whole "Killing your whole village and burning it all to the ground" thing felt like it was from the distant pillaging past, especially with the people just left to bleach out with bones to trip over while walking through the ruins 10 years later. Where did Roz grow up?
I also stumbled when Roz so eloquently spoke about orphanages as if she lived in one. When would that have been? Drago raised her. Where did she get all that insight?
Between the futuristic tech and the ancient feeling village plundering, it was all very incongruous.
At this point in the series, it's a real stretch for me to think that Tytus would still be out to get Rian or Gabriel or do anything to hurt Roz so I'm not sure how the third book is going to drag me into the suspension of disbelief. Although I'll read the last book, I'm sure it's going to be very predictable since it's Tytus and Rian's sister.

Wow, wow, wow!! The 2nd book in the Ruthless Dynasty is just as dark, dangerous and intense. After Roz (The Black Cat) and Tytus turned down their brother Gabriel’s offer to join Ryan and their empire, the two set off to get their own army and power. They will stop at nothing to bring down Ryan’s empire. It’s a game of cat and mouse and they both love the chase. What an intriguing and captivating storyline that leaves you breathless with the suspense and craving for more. The characters draw you in and keep you holding your breath for what they will do next. I highly recommend this series and am looking forward to Tytus and Melina’s story.

I have to say up to half way through I found the book hard going. Then things started getting interesting. And exciting.
Usually it only takes me a day or maybe two to read through your latest book. This one took me 9 days. The last half only took a night. I wish I could write half as well as you. Your ideas, your cruel evil characters. I've never heard or dreamed of things like that. If I say more I'll give away the plot, so goodbye till the next evil character. 😱

I absolutely loved this book about Rian and Rozalia. They are both dominant people who love killing people so Roz targets Rians coronation to be king so she can be chased! He calls her the black cat and boy does he like to hunt! I loved the back and forth between them and the times they were together their chemistry was amazing!!.

If you enjoyed Ruthless Heir you’re in for treat with this story. I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. It had lots of action.

This is book 2,of the Ruthless Dynasty and I loved it. This is Roz and Rian’s story. We met this couple in the first book, Lethal King. You can’t help but like this couple and root for their HEA. Their story had a lot of heat and sexual chemistry. This is a mafia, enemies-to-lover’s romance and I have no trouble recommending both books. The. pace is fast and you find it hard to put down.
