“I’m not okay with this,” I whisper, thinking of something else I overheard a few weeks ago when Jacky first decided to stay. I don’t know what he was alluding to when he said Zack needs to tell me something important, but I got the impression it’s something big.


Rebecca is just a hairstylist, at least, that's what she thinks until she discovers she's a mob princess with someone bent on taking her life.

Zack is unrepentant of his promise to keep Rebecca safe, and even after he is shot by an intruder, he will gladly take another bullet if it means protecting the woman he loves. There is a problem though, whoever is after Rebecca's life seems to have information on him that should not even exist.

Between Zack's protection and her overprotective father's henchmen, Rebecca is as safe as can be. When she finds out that Zack is keeping secrets from her, supposedly to protect her, she can't help but feel betrayed and decides to leave him. After all, if he really loves her, why would he keep secrets from her?

Turmoil and heartache fill this book in the series. Rebecca overhears a conversation and finds out Zack is keeping secrets from her. Unable to trust him, she decides to leave even though she needs protection for her life. She takes one man with her for protection, but that may not be enough. This book left us on another cliff-hanger. I can’t wait for the next one to see what happens. It’s good that the author ends it this way because you always finish and want more.

What a great series… worth 5 stars but for the cliffhanger ending. Starting with Zac in hospital after being shot. Hairdresser Becky is struggling to cope. Both have secrets… can any relationship survive with secrets? Drama, angst, uncertainty, and over the top chemistry…
I hate the cliffhanger ending, I need the next part of the story!

Zack and Rebecca have a special bond. It seems to be true love. But they are both carrying secrets, so the trust just isn't there. Rebecca's life is still in danger, but she feels she must leave Zack. She takes one guard with her. Will that be enough to keep her safe?

I aint feeling Jacky not being there...ans this new dude made me suspicious but he is dead.

I admit that Zack not being totally honest is a dealbreaker but you have to admit that you (Becca) don't know the truth...If Zack doesn't have the full picture and that is a hesitation to being totally truthful.

So looking for whats next!!!!
