I should’ve known better… Dating a bad boy biker could’ve only led to one thing: Heartbreak.
But that wasn’t even the end of it.
The entire ordeal also gave me a baby. One that I kept from him. Before you judge me, know that he was the one to walk away and move to another country.
For years, I missed looking into Nathan’s eyes. I missed the way he would touch me. The way he would speed up my heart rate.
So I wasn’t surprised when I made the same mistake years later… Another shot at love…. And another pregnancy. I’m buried under all my secrets. And history is likely to repeat itself… How will we both mess it up this time around?
And I hate non celibate heroes. Of course she was celibate and just jumped into bed with him after six years. I would have had him tested at least two times before I slept with him. Even with a condom, it was still icky to me. But to be fair.he doesn't bring them up and neither does she. It just mentions that the women in Amsterdam were sexy and he got his groove back. I just did not like him. his family lived there and he never came back for holidays or anything? And then when he told.her she wasn't that great of a trophy on his bike back in the day, I was out. He was an ass..that was at 70% or so. I just wish I hadn't read it. and I also hate that my husband made me be a non celibate hero hater back in college! It sucks and ruins stories for me! I want to wake him up and pinch him hard! Who cares if it was 48 years ago! I'm still mad at him kinda! Oh heck. Ill let him sleep.

Nathan is a 30 year old playboy, living a life of parties, and illegal motorcycle street racing on daddy's money and loving Gabriella. When daddy decides Nathan needs to grow up, he ships him off to Europe to work in the overseas branch of the family firm with only two days notice.
Nathan thinks Gabby should come to Europe with him. Despite being in love with her, he's never figured out that she owns and is responsible for the bakery where she works, and the building she lives in, and can't just jet off with no notice with her boyfriend for an unidentified period of time.
She sees this as a breakup and doesn't tell him she's just found out she's pregnant.
Nathan learns some hard life lessons in the five years he's away, and returns years later when his dad dies. He decides he wants Gabby back and pursues her, but things get complicated when his company wants to buy her building for redevelopment.
I love secret child/second chance romances and this one wasn't bad, but I guess I just feel like if Nathan really loved Gabby he would have truly gotten to know her before he left, and he hadn't, so I wasn't really invested in their relationship.

This book was almost perfect, except for a few things. I felt like I was tossed into their relationship upon first reading this book. I wasn’t prepared for that and thought it was setting the story up for a break up. When I realized that it would continue with Nathan and Gabriella’s story I was slightly disappointed. I don’t like being put into the middle of a relationship. I want to know what happened, how they got there and what drew them to each other. I want to know their first thoughts upon seeing each other and I enjoy reading those carnal thoughts they have at first glance. To me, this sets the vibe and story up. It took me a long time to get past this way of telling their story, hence why it ended up taking me three days to read this. This was the big thing for me and what makes me give this book a 4. However, aside from the way the story was told, there were a couple things I wish Nathan went back to during the book. When I first meet Nathan, he’s a bad boy who loves to ride bikes and has a “live fast, die young” mentality. The world was his playground and he was there to play and enjoy life. When he gets shipped off to Amsterdam and disappears for 6 years only to come back, that mentality goes away and I missed it for him. He becomes this uptight guy who buries himself in work and his whole demeanor changes. He doesn’t drink or rides bikes anymore and I felt like that was a big part of him. I was looking forward to a moment in time when he goes back to being that way, and it happens briefly but then it doesn’t come out again and I was sad. Once I got past all this, it was a really enjoyable story. I liked seeing their relationship get stronger and I get some of that first glance connections between the two of them when he tries to get her back and essentially woos her again. However, it is nothing like what a book includes when the couple meets each other for the very first time. I guess I had more issues with Nathan in this story than Gabriella. She was just a woman along for the ride and letting her feelings take over with confusing thoughts because she didn’t know Nathan’s angle. Each time she got closer to him, he would do something that would push them away again. Their connection with each other is palpable and I enjoyed reading about it, all the ups and downs.

Six years after he left St. Louis, Nathan is back. While attempting to understand the disorganized mess in the office, he is surprised to learn they were buying the buildings and land in a familiar area. The exact same area where he used to race. The exact same area the love of his life lived.
He had asked Gabriella to go with him.
She couldn’t drop her responsibilities at a moment’s notice. So Gabriella remained. In the process, Love Buns grew the clientele and created works of art.
He convinced her to give him another chance.
Nathan would sit for hours waiting and watching as Gabriella worked. Finally, he convinced her. Now they have a second chance to make things right. Although Gabriella already has a secret, Nathan insists on doing everything his way causing them to part ways. Alone again, Gabriella realizes Nathan has left her with a second baby to raise.
Her refusal is clear.
History is set to repeat itself. Nathan has a lot of making up to do. As the man in charge of a multi-billionaire company, he is used to giving orders and having them followed. But Nathan is not the one in charge this time.
Ava Gray snatches the attention right from the first sentence. It’s a second chance for everyone as Gray brings happiness to one little boy who just wants his daddy.

Nathan was from a rich family and he was an adrenaline junkie. He loved fast things. The faster the better. He loved to street race with his motorcycle. One night after being out he came home and was confronted by his dad. His dad him that he had to grow up and that he was being sent to Amsterdam to work for his uncle in the family business. He didn’t like this, didn’t like being told what to do, and told his dad he wants going to go. His dad told him he would go or he would be cut off from the family and the money. Against his better judgement he went. Gabriela was an owner of a coffee shop that sold cupcakes. She was also Nathan’s girlfriend. She love him and thought he loved her. She found out she was pregnant and was going to tell him that evening. When he showed up to her shop and he told her that he was leaving to go to Amsterdam and he wanted her to go with him. She refused because she had the shop to take care of and could not leave it. Nathan told her if she couldn’t come with him that he was breaking up with her. Six years later Nathan’s dad passed away and he return to run the US office. Will he and Gabriela pick up where they left off 6 years earlier? Will she tell him he is the dad of her son?
Nathan, the 30 year old son of a business tycoon loves motorcycle racing and partying and young Gabriella who works at the cupcake shop where the cyclists congregate after there nightly races. When Nathan’s dad tires of his refusal to grow up, he sends him to Amsterdam to learn business ethics from his uncle. Nathan wants Gabs to accompany him, thinking she will give up this insignificant job, not realizing that Gabriella actually inherited the cup a cake business Love Buns and the commercial building that houses the shop and three apartments. When Nathan seems to disrespect her, Gabriella argues with him and sends him on his way, before she is able to tell him the secret she is carrying.
Nathan returns to the states to run the real estate business there when his dad dies unexpectedly. Nathan quickly realizes he needs to see Gabriella and profess his love to her so he heads back to Love Buns and soon re-establishes his relationship with Gabriella. There devotion to each other is heartwarming, yet their miscommunication at times becomes rather tedious. Their ability to work through to their HEA is commendable and almost miraculous that they can do so. Gabriella and Nathan were so likeable but
This is a wonderful love story about Gabriella and Nathan. These two meet when Nathan, a wealthy young man races motorcycles in Gabriella’s part of town. Gabriella owns the local bakery at her young age having lost her parents. These two are in a unusual relationship where he spends time at her place on race nights but never go on dates. Nathan is besides himself, ends up having an argument, leaving feeling badly about their last night. Gabriella needs to protect herself and her little one so over the years she does what is necessary to raise a child alone. Nathan returns home after his father passes away and tries to pick up his relationship with Gabriella where they left off only to find her hard pressed not to give him the time of day. Gabriella gives Nathan a second chance and along the way they discover secrets, what they want as adults and who they are as a couple and family. Gabrielle and Nathan were so different but so the same even though they lived different life, Nathan family lived in gated area where Gabrielle lived in rough area but Nathan could not keep away from her it wasn't just the bike racing that brought him to her part of town it was Gabrielle he could see himself marry that girl until one night whan Nathan's dad throws a spanner into works and tell Nathan that he's going to Amsterdam to help his uncle out because Nathan dad thought it was about time Nathan grow up and act his age or he would be cut off but how was he going break this to Gabrielle, would she go with him or would she stay?. This was a good read, I like Gabrielle I she was alot more mature then Nathan sometimes he act more like he was in his twentys than thirtys but apart from that it was a good read.

This is a fabulous read with wonderful characters that you will fall in love with. There is Angst, love, deception, forgiveness and family.
our Fmc Gabriella has fallen head over heals for Bad boy Nathan, she knows that he is rich and somewhat flaunts his money around. She has some big news to tell him only to be heart broken by his crass words and lack of tact and care in telling her that he has to leave due to his parents trying to make him into their idea of what he should be. He returns six years later to find that Gabby is single and that he is still in love with her, he didn't know her secret.
I am looking forward to more from Ava Gray!!!.

I didn’t live the way he talked about her when he was supposedly in love with her. I love an asshole hero as much as the next gal but when there together I want him to worship the ground she walks on and I didn’t get that. Also how spontaneous these people where made me stressed. You have a kid you can’t be doing this. Also I would have liked things to be tied up more. I still have a lot of answered questions. *what happened with Gavin *How did his mother react to his family * what happened to the girl introduced last minute * did you do the rest of the things with his properties or was it specifically just this one * how did these people date and still knew absolutely nothing about each other
Gabby and Nathan connected, but their hope for the future died when his father made him go to Europe and work under his uncle. Gabby stayed, had a baby and ran her bakery. After his fathers death, Nathan is back to take over the business and they might have a second chance. Loved the characters, their backstories and resilience. Still craved each other, but she wanted him to want her and not just because of the baby. Totally understandable. Great storyline with secrets, strengths, great dialogue, steam, a few roadblocks, and much more. Totally enjoyed the story and the twists that circulate through the book. Good ending.

I loved this story, this was Gabriella and Nathan's story, a story of true love.
Nathan was part of the racing crowd that used to come to Gabriella's cafe late at night even though he was a rich boy fitting in, they used to ride on his bike for hours and were in love till his dad sent him to Amsterdam at short notice, before he found out that Gabriella was pregnant with his child.
Five years later he returned and found Gabriella still in the same Cafe, he didn't realise that she owned it, and they fell back in love and she fell pregnant again, He didn't know that he already had a son and another child on the way.
This story was beautifully written and made your heart feel warm. I can't wait to read another one of the Alpha Billionaire series.
I really tried to like the characters and the story but it became very predictable. The main character is a young lady that fell in love with a rich bad boy. His family forces him to get his act together and move across the country his to work for the family business. When he is forced to return Stateside are they able to pick up where they left off.
I lost a lot of the time on timing. In the same paragraph multiple times we are discussing the present events only for the next sentence to skip to months later.
This really could of been a great book if the events weren't so predictable.

Gabrielle and Nathan are the leading characters in this second-chance romance novel. Nathan and Gabrielle didn't split on the best of terms and she didn't tell him about the parting gift he left her with. Years later he comes back after his father's death and wants nothing more than for her to give him another chance.
Just when you think things will work out between them, something happens that tears them apart again. Ava Gray writes an emotional roller coaster that will keep you hoping for a happy ending for the growing family.

This was an okay read for me. Nathan and Gabriella are dating. He is a rich kid who races street bikes and she is a hard working woman he has lived a hard life. They are close bit then he tells her he is leaving the country per his father to learn the family business and wants her to leave her business behind and come with him. I found him selfish as he did not take her hard work and business into thought or even ask jer to marry him. She keeps her secret that she is pregnant as he is leaving. Uears later he comes back, but can they pick up where theu left off?.

When Nathan walked away from Gabby to prove to himself and his father that he could be a man he had no idea what all he was leaving. He asked Gabby to go but she couldn’t, she had responsibilities, so he left St Louis for Amsterdam and taking her heart. Now 6 years later and he’s back, for his father’s funeral and the girl he never stopped loving. They pick up almost right where they left off, except he still doesn’t know her biggest secret. And it’s not long before she’s carrying another little secret! This was a great second chance, secret baby romance! Definitely checking the others in the series 💕
How very cute a read! Gabrielle and Nathan seem so very good and happy together. But there’s always something to consider. ..Life. At a crossroad there’s always a choice. It depends solely on our decisions what we make with what was dealt. And sorry to say so, but Nathan has too big a head and too short a view. At least in the beginning. But life gives and takes and eventually it balances itself out. I wasn’t pleased with Grandma. Not at all ! Enjoy you read!

Nathan and Gabriella were in a relationship one where she thought that it would end with them marrying. When his father made arrangements for him to go abroad to work with his uncle it ended their relationship. His leaving also left Gabriella with a parting gift his son. Nathan is back and wants to pick up where they left off, but Gabriella doesn't trust Nathan. Will they get to rekindle what they had, and will it lead them to a second chance to get their relationship right?

Although interesting, I had a huge problem with Nathan's arrogant attitude.
Gabby is an honest, hard-working young lady compared to Nathan, who comes from a wealthy, privileged background, where he follows his own rules. However, at 30 years of age, Nathan resents how his domineering father dictates to him, but not enough to walk away and earn his own money. Of course, Nathan doesn't recognize that he treats Gabby in that same high-handed way.
But Gabby has a secret and Nathan is going to be shocked at just how independent Gabby really is!
He left for six years and when he came back she had a baby. One he did not know about. He was an adrenaline junkie when she knew him, but when an accident happened he was less of that and more of a business man. He came back for the woman he loves he just didn't know everything that he was getting. I thought this was a cute story with an alpha billionaire and the barista. Like all of Ava Gray's books I have read this one is addicting and you can't wait to see how its going to turn out.
Received ARC in exchange for voluntary honest review
This was difficult to finish because while Gab matured while they were apart, Nathan didn't. Gab was a bit insecure in the beginning since Nathan was rich but she knew her career priorities and Gab didn't bother to try to problem-solve why she couldn't just up and leave with him immediately. Upon his return, he wasn't upfront with her about the real estate stuff, didn't respect her request for an appointment and kept bugging her, and didn't help her wash dishes when it was keeping her from meeting him. Sigh. It feels like the love was more on physical attraction than compatibility.
Gabby is gorgeous kind and faithful. Nathan is handsome, daring and a disappointment to his parents. The romance and confusion that ensues following their initial romance feels right. Love must surely find a way to conquer their differences. I really enjoyed the struggle to get there and the discord created by different backgrounds and viewpoints was realistic. A really good book I received a free arc via booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This storyline is absolutely a beautiful read, I promised that you will fall in love and won’t be able to put it down, it has some quiproquo, misunderstandings and lots and lots of love. Gabriella and Nathan are the main characters in this lovely romance they are well surrounded by all the characters of It will take you into a rollercoaster of emotions, life is pretty heartwarming at times and heartbreaking at others times. Thanks to the author for providing my review copy.
Nathan comes from a rich family and uses motorcycle racing was a hobby. Gabriella is a young woman who falls head over heals for Nathan. Yet neither of them really knows one another. Family inadvertently push them apart until one day when they meet again. The only difference is that they both grew up and both have secrets. Great story.

Good second chance I found the story to be good, well written, simple at the start, a bit predictable: the hero is forced to leave his girlfriend when she finds out she's pregnant and she doesn't tell him what's going on. He necessarily find out sooner or later. However, the story changes after a twist and the end of the story is more exciting than the first part. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
A few things I didn't care for in this book Gabby was a bit of a brat she got all high and mighty about Nathan keeping a secret from her but she kept two big ones from him Robbie and her being pregnant again, I was so mad at her character for that. Nathan wasn't even mad about those secrets I didn't understand that. His mom was a basket case after his dad died I'm glad he finally stepped back from his family.
The stor was entertaining and interesting with these two coming together only to have one go away then years later come back and yet again but will the resulting child from that time and this time help them on their hea.
