Logan has been caged for 50 years, the victim of his evil brother’s plots so when a beautiful vampire leaves him unattended in her living room his first thought is escape but to do that, he needs to shift from bird form to human form so he can reach the crowbar she left on the floor.
Eve ‘s used to receiving strange packages from her friend Kyle, but she has to admit that this one, an enormous cage containing a 4 foot tall eagle is a little stranger than most. She suspects it’s some kind of practical joke, but she’s not quite sure what to do with it until he hears from her friend. The situation gets a whole lot more complicated when she goes to investigate an unexpected noise and finds a very handsome very naked man in the cage where she left the eagle a few minutes before.
They are complete strangers, but there attraction between them will turn them into much, much more … just as soon as Logan deals with a traitorous brother and some unfinished business.
Caged Desire is a no holds barred suspense and a steamy hot romance all stuffed into six brief chapters. From the unveiling of the mystery crate to the final showdown you’ll hardly have a chance to catch your breath, but you will love every minute.

Good, light read.
This is a good light read. Not a lot of character development but then it is meant to be a novella so that is to be expected. Fast paced and quite a bit of action. Great chemistry between the main characters. My biggest complaint is the lack of editing. Missed words, incomplete sentences and other grammatical errors make reading the story a bit frustrating. A good editor should have fixed the problems before the book was released. Thus the three star rating.

Good idea but
This was a good idea but it didn't have much to it. It was more about th e sex than romance. There wasn't much about this prophecy thing. There wasn't much to this story at all. I wish there was more to it. Like I said, a good story in theory.

Caged Desire is a stand alone and is a great story. I was captivated from page one till I got the end of the story. Sydney Somers is a great story teller. She knows how to captivate her readers to the pages of her stories.
This is the story of Logan and Eve. Logan is an immortal demi-god and Eve is a vampire. Eve received a crate from her friend Kyle and decided to open it and find out what is inside the crate. When she opened it up she found a huge eagle inside it. She pulled the cage out and found out that the eagle was alive.
Logan was in eagle form and hoping that the vampire would set him free from his cage. He had a mission to do and he needed out. Well he shifted in front of her and started to feel something about the vampire that was unfamiliar to him. She teaches him about the new year and she is falling for him.
She helps him with his brother. Then they finally admitted their feelings for each other and they also realized that they are meant to be together.
I give Caged Desire 5 stars and would recommend this story to anyone that love paranormal romances. I would reread this story over again.....

This was a fast, hot, sexy read. Eve was one cool heroine. She was like me in that her mouth probably could get her in trouble. She doesn't take no crap from anyone especially Logan's evil brother And I liked it. Despite Logan being imprisoned for 50 yrs he is remarkably stable. I'm not sure I would have been. And the connection between him and Eva was instantaneous. And even though he was getting his strength back he didn't want to leave her and his evil brother and some of his old clan tried to come along and spoil it for them. But it all worked out in the end. I would like more of this type shifter. Not seen many eagle shifters.

I loved loved loved Eve! She was fierce and tough and total badass! She was cracking me up when she stood up to those bigger than her - totally making me want to scream "Girl Power!" I enjoy reading books with strong heroines. And Eve was not a disappointment in the least. Logan was total heartthrob. He got the raw end of the stick but didn't let it phase him. Their connection was instantaneous and hot. I loved their interactions and protectiveness of each other. I know it is a novella but I enjoyed this quick story so much, I wanted more. More of what came next.

This is a great story that grabs your attention from page one and holds it until the end. Logan and Eve have an intense and immediate connection and are willing to do whatever it takes to be together. Eve is a fierce female vampire who doesn't trust easily and Logan is a shifter who is dealing with issues of his own. Together they are unstoppable and will destroy anything or anyone who get in their way. This is a great story and I highly recommend giving it a read!

Eve, the vampire is sent a gift…and what a gift it is! Logan, a shape shifter, has been caged for five decades and is eager to be free. Can Eve trust him? Will Logan be released for good? How will the two of them overcome the evil that finds them and will they get their happily ever after?

This one pulled me right in from the beginning. Logan has been wrongly banished to his cage for 50 years. Now he has been sent to vampire Eve. Can she trust Logan to set him free? Can he seek the revenge on the ones who put him in that cage? The chemistry between Eve and Logan is hot! Along the way two souls find a connection they never anticipated.

This was a fast, fun,exciting read. I loved the characters of Logan and Eve. It is a good blend of vampire and shifter. Sydney Somers does an amazing job. It is a very steamy,hot story.

Why would Kyle send her a bird in a cage? Well read this and find out. Lots of sexual tension from a pair you would never expect.
