Desire can strike without warning. Shadow Destroyers-Book 3 Journalist Blair Murphy is on the trail of a hot lead when she meets an even hotter stranger. A born and raised Maritimer, Sydney Somers fell in love with writing when she finished her first story, Jenny and the Glowing Green Mittens. After attempting her first book in high school, she set writing aside to focus on school. While getting her degrees in psychology and education, Sydney tried her hand at journalism between part time jobs before finally returning to her love of writing.
Twenty-five novels and novellas later, Sydney is thrilled to spend her days slaying demons, running with shape-shifter packs and making the people in her head fall wildly in love. When she’s not writing or curled up with a good book, Sydney can be found chasing after her herd of kids, talking her way into a gourmet meal, exterminating rogue dust bunnies or joking about the pending zombie apocalypse. She loves hearing from readers and invites them to contact her anytime.
I presume you know what the book is about. I'm letting you know what I like or disliked about it.
Drew and Blair. Ah, Drew - such a sexy vibe from that boy! Yummie. While Drew always caught my attention in previous books my first impression was much different than the character I grew to know from this book. I liked his intensity, confidence, his focus on the aspects in his life he needed to deal with and his commitment to do so. Nice guy. And I'm glad there wasn't much time spent on who he was in the past.
I liked Blair very much - I was worried about her there for awhile. Worried it wasn't going to end well.
The chemistry between Drew and Blair sizzled. I think this story was perfect and I recommend the book as well as the series.
Gritty thriller-like romance, within an urban American setting, between protagonists Blair and Drew. This is the third in the Shadow Destroyer Series.
I didn't really feel any of the sexual tension/chemistry between Blair and Drew, but the side story kept me interested, which is like the second most important thing, eh?
